Joyful Gatherings Quilt-Along Finishing Instructions Are HERE!

Woo hoo, we did it! After 25 consecutive weekly releases we’ve finally made it to the final round of the Joyful Gatherings Quilt Along, just in time for Christmas! I know many of you are right on schedule and rearing to go for finishing instructions so let’s get to it. By clicking the button below you will find instructions on how to finish your Joyful Gatherings quilt exactly the way I did, which looks like this…

What do you think? If you’re not totally in love, don’t worry. I have a couple of alternative cornerstone options for you to choose from included in the instructions as well, which you can download for FREE by clicking the button above! Finishing instructions will remain posted for FREE until Thursday, December 28th, 2023 when they will then be moved to our regular website and put up for sale. You will then be able to purchase them as a downloadable PDF for the modest price of $3.00.

Well stitchers, that’s a wrap! I really hope you had as much fun with this festive little quilt-along as I did… It certainly made the time fly between when we started and now, that is for sure! Please continue to share photos of your progress and finished quilts on our social media pages so others can see your masterpieces. You never know who you might inspire! Thank you Lisa for all of your hard work and generosity. I have been keeping up with Twilight Stars for two extra long twin beds so didn’t have the time to spare for this one but saved the instructions for 2024. The Black Star Farm QAL looks great too. So many great ideas – just not enough time to do it all. LOL You and your team are the best!

Hi Lisa and primitive gatherings gang. So I used a couple different backgrounds for my trees, and now I need background to finish the quilt. Did you post anywhere the amount of fabric it takes for the finishing? If not, I’ll figure it out. Just thought I’d ck first. Thanks for the quilt along, I love it!!!

Hey Beth! Sorry, but no I don’t have those measurements typed up anywhere and I don’t know them off the top of my head. You’ll have to do the math by calculating the cuts you need to make from the background to get the needed yardage.
