Twilight Stars Quilt-Along – Block Release #31

Hey everyone, T.G.I.F.! If it feels a little like you might be having déjà vu, no worries – you’re not going crazy! YES we just had a Twilight Stars Quilt-Along post a few days ago… After a bit of catch up on Tuesday with block release #30 of the Twilight Stars QAL, we’re back on schedule today, and moving right along with the Week #31 block release. Please add block #70 and #99 to your assignment list!

As always, you can find all the patterns you need to participate in this QAL in my book Triangle Gatherings (required along with a few other items), which can be purchased on the Primitive Gatherings website by clicking HERE. Blocks will be posted every Friday around NOON Central Standard Time, with a correlating blog post shortly after. Block releases can be found both here on the blog and in the “Quilt-Along” area under “Twilight Stars” at http://www.lisabongean.com. Never even heard of Twilight Stars? You can read all about it by clicking HERE. In addition, a full list of details and required supplies can be found at the Twilight Stars Info Page by hitting the button below!

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but WI along with much of the midwest is under a major winter storm warning right now. In fact, our area is under a legitimate “blizzard warning” as we speak, which is about as bad it gets when it comes to winter weather in WI. We’re talking white-out conditions! Needless to say, this post is going to be short. I plan to stay over at The Gathering tonight so I can get some stitch time in with my current guests and not have to worry about traveling back and forth between here and home, but there are still a few things to take care of before we can lock the door and settle in for the night. That being said, if you are local please be safe and stay home! If you plan to venture out to see us tomorrow, I highly suggest checking our Facebook page or giving us a call to check on any scheduling updates, since we will be open according to what Mother Nature decides.

Before I scamper off to hunker down, I do want to say congrats to Week #30’s share winner, Pam Hintze. Thanks for your hard work, Pam. Your blocks look great – and what cute little reindeer! Please contact Heidi at heidin@primitivegatherings.us with your mailing address. You have a charm pack and some caramels coming your way!

Alright gang, I’m off! I will be back next week Monday after this storm blows over. Again, if you’re local or anywhere in the midst of this storm, I urge you to stay home unless absolutely necessary. The roads are nasty, and only getting worse. Take care everyone. See you soon! ~ Lisa

We are due for another 24 hours of gale force winds here on the Historic James River in VA. Snow predicted for Wednesday, but snow in southern VA is not WI. As I’ve said before, what a fun adventure to be stuck at The Gathering during a snowstorm. Please stay safe.

You all stay safe there! I’m in MO and it’s bitterly cold and windy and snowy here! Ok I’m in with wanting to try the twilight stars. Would that be good to do with the American Gatherings II line? If so what would you recommend for the background? I know you did two different lines so should I do another line with the fat 1/8 bundle in order to complete them all? So excited to get out of my comfort zone and try something new!!

Stay warm and safe. I would love to be locked in at the Gathering.
