Make Gift-Giving EASY this Holiday Season!

Hey everyone! I’m finally back in the PG Studio again after surviving yet another hectic week of attending the Great WI Quilt Show! Between the setup involved for several weeks leading up to the event and then physically attending the show, I think it’s safe to say my crew and I are all glad to be getting back into the swing of “normal” things here at home. A HUGE shout-out goes out to my “booth warriors,” Amy, Jess, and Judy who were definitely the key to running such successful booth this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart… I couldn’t have done it without you!!! <3

Now that this year’s big quilt show is a thing of the past, we can take a second to let the dust settle and relax before the holidays hit us in full-force. It’s absolutely WILD to me that Halloween will be here in less than two months, but it is indeed a fact that I need to accept because Thanksgiving and Christmas won’t be far behind! In the spirit of “getting ahead” of the game in the areas of both work and play, I’m proud to say that I have officially started my Christmas shopping early this year, which is something I always say I’m going to do but never seem to accomplish. I’ll admit that it does feel a bit premature, however I know I won’t regret it come December when so many others will be scrambling around trying to cover everyone on their list, last-minute. Speaking of Christmas shopping, where are you with yours? Have you started already, or are you more of the procrastinator type? Let us all know in the comments for a chance to win something nice from Heidi’s prize vault!

Keep in mind for whenever you do start your holiday shopping, that If you have a quilty friend or family member on your list, we have just the thing to make your shopping challenge no challenge at all! Have you heard about our Holiday Specialty Boxes? Despite the name, the only thing holiday-themed about this box is the time of year that it’s delivered, and the festive graphics on the box. Other than that, the projects and goodies inside are NON-holiday, everyday items that are appropriate all year-round. This box is the perfect solution for gifts not only for the holidays, but anytime of the year – OR just to treat yourself for no good reason other than to “stitch every day.”

Is your family always wondering what to get you when it comes time for gifts? What makes the Holiday Specialty Boxes even better, is that they will ship in time for Christmas! Make shopping for your gift that much easier for your loved ones this year, by dropping a serious hint toward this box. You won’t regret it and they’ll be happy to know their gift was a guaranteed winner!

You can choose from the Wool Holiday Box, the Fabric Holiday Box, or a combination of both… And to make the pot even sweeter, no matter which box you decide to order, your projects will come in a high-quality, festively decorated box that you’re not going to want to throw away. We’re not showing what the 2024 design is quite yet, but you can see how cute they’ve been in years past in the above photo (*designs shown are past examples only and will not be the design on the 2024 boxes).

On the fence? Don’t wait too long to make the best shopping decision you’ll make all year! Our Holiday Specialty Boxes will only be available for a limited time! PRE-order yours – and a few for friends and family – NOW on our website by clicking the button above! If you already have your 2024 Holiday Specialty Box ordered but still need ideas for stocking stuffers and more, be sure to join Jess and Heidi for another CommentSold adventure tomorrow – Tuesday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. In the meantime, have a wonderful evening and I will see you all later this week! Take care. ~Lisa

I can’t express to you how excited I was to go to Road to California or PIQF (?) anticipating going to your booth. YOU WERE A WOOL GODDESS to me. I COULD NOT WAIT to see the Reproduction fabrics, wools and patterns. Nick was at the cash register. Over the years I admire you from afar. Currently working on your magnificent Black Star Flower Farm quilt.

So i can imagine all the Wisconsin QS attendees flocking to your booth like we did in CA. PG delivers so much creativity, care in customer service, SHOPPING!

    Hi Lisa & team!
I’ve started purchasing & sewing early as well. Though I am behind in finishing up the gifts I’m sewing. Hopefully I can get back to my sewing projects next week.
    Best regards, Jo

I’m happy to hear that someone besides me is shopping early for Christmas. My son and DIL moved to Wisconsin in April so we are road tripping out there in October to celebrate an early Christmas with them. Guess that’s my motivation to get things finished!

I shop all year long- when I see something a friend would love, or screams BUY Me For…., I do. I have a shelf specifically for Christmas gifts for friends and I love to see it fill up as the year goes by!!

I love Christmas and am about halfway through my list. I try to shop early because I always end up making projects for people during the season. ❤️🎄🤶

I pick up Christmas gifts all year. If I see something that’s perfect for someone I get it before it’s gone. I’m always listening as people often drop hints about something they like during the year. Surprise! It’s under the tree for them come Christmas 🎁🎁!!

Every year I say I’m going to start early and so far it hasn’t happened but there’s always next year. Glad to hear you’ve gotten a head start. I got a holiday box last year and love everything in it.

Thanks for.the info on the Holiday gift .boxes, definitely a good idea for quilting friends. By the way, my good friend and I just attended for the third year a 3 nigjt , 4 day stay at The Gathering this past weekend. We love seeing our friends that continue to return. Thanks, Lisa, for the great tour of the warehouse and where the magic happens that you give us every year and sharing info for what’s in the future. The Gathering is the most beauriful, comfortable retreat ever. We love Chef Erica and the delicious food she cooks for us. If anyone is looking for the most wonderful retreat ever, please check out The Gathering.

I am a little ahead of the game on Christmas as I’m currently finishing a Christmas quilt for my son and his wife and after attending Madison this past week, I’m starting work on PG wool pattern “Deeper Roots” for my daughter!

I am a grand champion procrastinator. My kids are still waiting for many things to get finished. Their grandkids may be the recipient of them instead. It’s just tooo much fun to start new things. I surprised three of the grandkids when I actually got their grad quilts done on time

Glad you had a successful time at the Great Wisconsin quilt show! The video shows you had busy days. Yes, I have started my Christmas shopping, as I Christmas shop all year around. The Christmas in July box was for me of course! Looking forward to your holiday sale in November! Thanks for all your demo’s and everything you share.

Christmas shopping? Well, I usually start in January with the clearance sales…and then just continue! So I guess you could say I shop year round (the same way I shop for fabric! Ha!)

Usually I’m very last minute. In a month we will have 7 grandbabies, all 4 and under by my first two daughters. Procrastinating is not an option! Bought the first presents a couple of weeks ago and hope to get a few things made by Christmas. Christmas is my favorite!

Yes! I have already started Christmas shopping AND Christmas making. My granddaughter is 8 and very creative. She is asking for needles, a baby scissors, “thread in a ball” like Grammy’s, fabric, and a little “needle keep” to organize all her things!!!
OH MY HEART! I couldn’t believe it! She wants all the things I love too! Really excited that she has switched her thoughts from paper, pens, and pencils to stitchin stuff!! I think she might have to stay with me a few days over Christmas break just to stitch! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this!

That is awesome to hear, Leann! I feel like a grannie/granddaughter retreat to The Gathering is in order!!!
