HOP Into the Shop – or ONline – for a FREE Pattern!

Are you participating in the ninth annual “Fall Frenzy” Shop Hop this year? If you’re anywhere near northeastern WI and are looking for something to do in the area tomorrow, why not take a little, “tour-de-local quilt shops” by participating in this exciting Shop Hop event, hosted by Going to Pieces Quilt Co. in Appleton, WI!?

All you have to do to join in on the “Fall Frenzy Shop Hop” fun is pick up your official Shop Hop card from one of the shops listed below. Visit each shop on the list, and have your card stamped to receive a FREE Shop Hop pattern. Once your card is complete with all five participating shop stamps, turn it in at the last shop you visit for a chance to a variety of gift cards!

As I mentioned, each shop will have its own FREE pattern to give away to Shop Hop participants, including Primitive Gatherings! Check out this adorable fall-themed pillow we dreamed up just in time for the Hop!

For those of you who have been waiting to see a she-gnome in the PG gnome family, your wait is over! “Thankful Gnomes” is a wool appliqué pillow project that will “gnome” your home with autumn cheer and fall time shenanigans! These little gnomes are ready to watch over your house this fall with their thankful hearts and mischievous smiles. Are you ready to let them in???

Remember, all you have to do to get the pattern for “Thankful Gnomes” FREE is to stop into Primitive Gatherings now through 3:00 p.m. tomorrow – Saturday, October 19th, 2024, and present your Fall Frenzy Shop Hop Card. What’s even better is that while you’re here you can also enter your name into a drawing for a chance to win this pretty little PG gift basket (you must be a Fall Frenzy Shop Hop participant to enter)…

If you’re not able to participate in the shop hop for whatever reason, no worries – we’re not leaving you out! You can still get the pattern for “Thankful Gnomes” FREE when you make a purchase of $40.00 or more (not including tax or shipping) in-store or on our website by 3:00 p.m. CST tomorrow – Saturday, October 19th, 2024! Interested in a kit for this adorable project? Kits and pillow forms are available to order now on our website by clicking HERE!

Fall is undeniably in full swing here in WI, with another stunner of a weekend on its way. I’m actually spending the next couple of days riding my bike up in Door County for my birthday celebration, so I can see the fall colors in their full glory. There is simply nothing like fall foliage when it hits peak color, which I’m pretty sure is happening in Door County as we speak. While I understand the appeal of moving somewhere that stays warm all year round, the idea of missing out on the change of seasons is enough to keep me here for now. If you know, you know…

With that being said, I’m going to wrap work up for the weekend so I can get every last minute outside and under the sun in before it goes down for the night. It’s crazy that just a month ago, we had daylight well after 7:00 p.m. and now it’s practically down just after six. Winter is definitely coming! Enjoy the sunlight while you can…

Before I forget, this week’s comment shout-out goes to Nicole H. and Tonna M.! Thank you both for not only reading my blog, but also taking the time to leave me a comment at the end. I truly appreciate it so now you get something nice (check your email if you think this is you)!!! See how that works?! Now you try! See you all next week! ~Lisa

Love me some gnomes ❣️best of both worlds🥰 kit is ordered. thank you for showing/teaching me wool applique. I always thought it would be to difficult but each project I pick up I find more enjoyable. It gives me hand work and Hub’s enjoys me being in the same room and not down in the sewing room… Now if you could help with more time in the day I would be greatful❣️ thank you for all you do.

Fall is the best time for a bike ride,or any ride in the country with all fall colors. In western Colorado it’s color ride to Telluride, although there is snow there today.

While I love the idea of spending a winter on a beach, I also know that I would miss Spring & Autumn, when the seasons start their change. The surprise of how the day will start & end is what keeps me grounded. Lately I’ve been enjoying watching the cornfields come down around us. We can see for miles & miles again and I love it! Hope your bike ride is fabulous!!!

Fall is definitely my favorite season. When the temperatures start to drop, it’s time to bring out the quilts to snuggle under. Enjoy your ride and seeing the changing colors!

I agree…it’s days like these past few (I’m in West Michigan) that keep me here vs moving to a warm-year-’round place. And as always, thank you for your live of tiny piecing. You got me hooked thru the Moda Blockheads several years ago and now I can’t stop. I especially look forward to the 23rd of each month for the current Mini Quilt pattern. Hope your weekend in Door County was amazing!
