Naughty or Nice… We Don’t Care!

Hey, everyone! I hear that Santa’s been checking in from the North Pole to see if you’ve been naughty or nice this year, but don’t worry – we don’t care! Either way, you’re officially invited to my 2024 Naughty or Nice Winter Retreat at The Gathering!

Grab your sewing gear and head to Larsen, WI this December for a well-deserved early winter getaway! This retreat focuses on several holiday-themed projects in a variety of mediums. During this multi-day educational retreat I will be guiding the group through the process of making an exclusive holiday quilt, two additional holiday wool pillow projects, and a mini hand-painted wooden barn quilt!

Up until now, we haven’t really done any advertising for this year’s Winter Naughty or Nice Retreat, and for good reason. With as popular as this annual event has become, Heidi didn’t even have a chance to get a flier made before it sold out just through word of mouth alone. No kidding! Unfortunately for us (but awesome for you) due to a few pesky “unforeseen circumstances” we’ve had a few cancellations. Great news, right!?! Just think… That means if you’re fast enough, we might just have a spot open for YOU! Here are the details:

• DAY STUDENTS = $550.00/wk per student – Includes project kits, class instruction by Lisa Bongean, exclusive tour of Primitive Gatherings, and daily lunches.

• LODGING STUDENTS = $350.00/wk per student + LODGING (call for rates) – Includes project kits, class instruction by Lisa Bongean, exclusive tour of Primitive Gatherings, PG swag, a Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop gift card (amount depends on length of stay), and all meals.

Both day and lodging students are welcome! Please call The Gathering for class registration and lodging rate information. You can reach them at 920-778-8031 or by emailing thegathering@primitivegatheings.us.

I always look forward to Naughty or Nice every year because if you can believe it, I love the holidays even more than I love Halloween! It’ll be just the thing to get the holiday spirit flowing, just in time for Christmas! I dare you to join us for the shenanigans… You won’t regret it! 🎄🔔☃️🎁🎅

Looking out the studio window I see that the sun is starting to go down, which means it’s time for me to go home. Before I do that I want to give a shout-out to Jamie H. and Nancy C. for their comments on the blog last week. Thank you! Heidi should be sending you a prize email shortly. Alright friends, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that you get project or two done! Or… maybe just lay around if that’s what you feel like doing. It’s your weekend – enjoy it. See you soon! ~Lisa
