Have you had a chance to check out this year’s Primitive Christmas event yet? This annual holiday extravaganza is something we literally work on all year long, so when it finally comes to fruition, let’s just say it’s one heck of a weight lifted. Just like pretty much everything we do around here, there is a major amount of work and planning that goes into this little holiday shindig of ours, so it’s nice to see our efforts finally paying off after an exceptionally busy day here at Primitive Gatherings. Thank you to everyone that’s already contributed to making this year’s Primitive Christmas a huge success!

As you can imagine, a large part of the work required on MY behalf for Primitive Christmas each year is coming up with fresh designs to add to you holiday project collection. I’m happy to say that in addition to the new make-and-take projects and Primitive Christmas pattern give-aways that I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post (read it by clicking HERE!), I also added a few new items to offer in the shop while I was at it. Let me show you what I came up with!

First up, I’d like to introduce, “Penny the Snow Woman.” This frosty little gem is a 15″ x 18″ mini quilt/wall hanging – featuring you guessed it – an adorable wool penny snow woman! “Penny the Snow Woman” is a wool appliqué project is done by hand-stitching wool pennies onto a cotton background.
