Hey, everyone! Welcome back from a long holiday weekend. Well…? So, how’d it go??? Did you pull off the perfect turkey dinner this Thanksgiving, or did the smoke alarm get a workout? Either way, I hope you survived with your sanity intact (for the most part, anyway) and maybe even managed to sneak in a little stitching in between the chaos. No time to stitch over the break? No worries! Now that the Tryptophan has run its course, you have a bit of time to get your mind right and into the spirit of Christmas. Need a little help? Don’t worry, I’ve got you… My latest stitch-along, “Countdown to Christmas” starts today!

Whether you’re already stitching on this adorable holiday quilt or you’re still on the fence about participating, the magic of the Christmas season is HERE and waiting for you! “Countdown to Christmas” is a Christmas-themed stitch-along that is designed to be fast, easy, and fun. Perfect for beginners and seasoned quilters alike, this project includes minimal piecing with no small pieces. It’s made up of a variety of cheerful blocks featuring a combination of both stitchery and wool appliqué. In other words, you will be both quilting and stitching to complete this festive quilt!

“Countdown to Christmas” runs from TODAY December 2nd, 2024 through Christmas eve – December 24th, 2024. Patterns will be released each day by 5:00 p.m. CST throughout the duration of the stitch-along.
