Get Your 2025 Primitive Gatherings PRINTABLE Events Calendar HERE!

Hey, everyone – and welcome to the most Mondayest Thursday in history! If you’re anything like me you woke up this morning still stuck in that weird holiday time warp where every day feels like a Sunday – but also a Monday? Is it breakfast time? Lunch? Do we even care anymore? Ugh!

I know the last few weeks have been a bit of a blur, but here’s some solid news to break you out of the holiday chaos: our 2025 Events Calendar is up and ready for you to download and print by clicking the button below!

Consider this year-long calendar your ticket out of the post-holiday fog! It’s complete with all the clubs, classes, workshops, retreats, and can’t-miss quilting adventures we’ve planned – so far – to make 2025 the most unforgettable year yet at Primitive Gatherings and The Gathering! Now that we’re finally done working out the last minute changes and details, all that’s left for you to do is to grab a coffee (or that last piece of fruitcake – no judgment here), hit download, and boom! You’ll have your own convenient printable copy to look at anytime you’re wondering what’s going on at PG! Just remember… Nothing is set in stone! Things are always subject to change. Please call The Gathering at 920-778-8031 if you have any questions or are looking for an event, club, class, etc. that you don’t see listed. We might still be working on it!

In other post-holiday news, in case you weren’t able to catch my last LIVE show, I announced that due to the holiday craze, I decided to postpone the January Weekend Edition Quilt release for a week to give everyone here at PG a chance to figure out which way is up (it was originally due to post tomorrow, Friday, January 3rd, 2025)! As you can imagine, we’re all still running on caffeine, leftovers, and the sweet, confusing denial that the holiday madness is really over. Not to mention, we’re still working on inventory!!! Needless to say, we’re taking a minute to get caught up but don’t worry – it’ll be here soon and I promise, it’ll be worth it! You can expect to see Weekend Edition Quilt #7 next Friday, January 10th, 2025.

For those of you waiting on the Starburst finishing instructions, great news! My pattern graphic artist Teri is back in town and has everything just about buttoned up. I just need to do a final proof to make sure everything looks good and then I’ll be ready to go! Watch for that sometime early next week. I will announce it here on the blog, on facebook, and my LIVE shows when it’s posted. You will then be able to download and print it free of charge. No printer? No problem! Just contact the shop at store@primitivegatherings.us and we will be happy to send you a printed version via snail mail.

Are you participating in the Unity Quilt-Along? The 2025 Unity Quilt-Along officially starts Thursday, January 16th, 2025! This year-long quilt-along will feature thousands of half-square triangles made by using my custom designed Primitive Gatherings 1″ Charm Papers. Official details will be posted in the next week or so, and can be found at http://www.lisabongean.com under the “Quilt-Alongs” tab by clicking the “Unity Quilt-Along” icon.

2025 is HERE!!! Ready to do this together? I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited to kick off the new year with fresh projects and a whole lot of fun! Here’s to a year full of stitching, laughter, and maybe a little bit of chaos – because let’s be honest… Sometimes, that’s when we work best!

Alright, friends – it’s time to go home for dinner! I’ll be back next week to show you all the exciting things coming our way in 2025 on Thursday, January 9th at 1:00 p.m. CST on my YouTube channel, LIVE with Lisa Bongean, where I’ll dive more into the details. You can tune in to watch by clicking the STITCH button below! Have a wonderful night and I will see you soon! ~Lisa.

Hi! I am excited about the Unity quilt. And I am enjoying the Barn quilt of the month. But, I am loving your April quilt in the APQ calendar! Will there be pre-orders for the fabric? Thanks a bunch! Happy New Year! 😊

Amen, sister! All day long I have been saying, “What day is it?? It feels like a Sunday! I wish it was Monday, because then time would have started up again.”

Happy New Year! I’m loving the barn series. Painted mine red and added a metal roof. With January hanging it’s all red/white/blue. Happy sewing and all the best in 2025

Boy do I relate! As a matter of fact, while talking with a friend who was visiting today we had the same discussion: what day of the week is it…….Holidays are great, but they sure do mess up our mental schedule. Next upset will be when it’s time for Daylight Savings time again!! Happy New Year to you all at PG. I look forward to more great inspiration from your area.

We are giggling over here because we keep asking, “What day is this?” It feels like a Sunday or Monday everyday. Oh brother. I even look at the calendar every morning and announce to each of our dogs the day, date, and year. 🙄 Thank you for all you do Lisa.
