Hey everyone – happy Valentine’s Day-eve! It’s crazy to think that we’re half-way through February and it’s only just starting to feel like a “real” WI winter out there. After last weekend’s snow dump plus another couple inches added last night, it’s finally looking like a winter wonderland here at Primitive Gatherings – and just in time for Valentine’s Day!
I don’t know about you, but something about a bright, sunny bluebird day after an overnight snowstorm puts me in the mood for… a good stitching project! And since Valentine’s Day is practically here, I figured it’s the perfect time to spread some love to all my fellow stitchers. That’s why, in honor of YOU my little Valentines, I am giving away the downloadable pattern for one of my exclusive 2025 Valentine’s Day projects FREE, now through Sunday February 16th, 2025!
“Forever Love” is a beautiful love-themed 18″ x 18″ pillow that is done using Primitive Gatherings Hand Dyed Wools appliquéd onto our soft and buttery flannel. This pillow was designed with two possible versions in mind, including one that features a variety of valentine colors and fancy stitches, while the other is a more simple, single color option. The best news yet, is that there is enough fabric and wool in the kits for “Forever Love” to create both! All you will need to provide is the backing fabric and a 20″ x 20″ pillow form for stuffing – all of which are available on our website by clicking HERE!

Ready to get stitchin’? All you have to do is click the button above to download your pattern! No printer? No problem! Patterns are available in printed format for $10.00 through Sunday, February 16th, 2025 (they will resume their full price of $16.00 after that). Project kits are also available! You will receive a printed pattern if you decide to purchase a kit, which you can do on our website by clicking below!

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day this year? Are you swapping out flowers for fabric and chocolate for wool??? Let me know in the comments! I always love hearing about your holiday traditions! As far as I go, all I know is I’m going to dinner tomorrow tonight. Not sure where – not sure when. All I know is he better play his cards right… LOL!!! Just kidding. I’m sure whatever he has up his sleeve will be great! Enjoy your Valentine’s Day everyone, and see you soon! ~Lisa
