Love FREE PATTERNs? It’s Your Lucky Day!

Hey, everyone, welcome back to the weekend! After traveling last week I am certainly ready for a relaxing couple of days to unwind from my Nashville trip. You know how it is… Every time I fly I always need a little time to hit “reset” once I get home before I really feel like I’m back to normal. Don’t get me wrong, even though I’m a bit tired I had a total blast hunting the 2025 Nashville Needlework Market for the latest and greatest from the cross stitch world. I found some really cool and unique new items that I can’t wait to get onto the website and into the shop for you to enjoy – we should have it all available soon!

Boy, spring is really springing around here! Anyone else wake up to thunder and heavy rain??? Crazy how the weather can change from winter one minute, to what practically feels like summer the next (because in WI, we start wearing shorts when it’s 45 degrees). This year really feels like it’s flying by. In fact, I can hardly believe Monday is St. Patrick’s Day! That being said, with everything else going on I couldn’t let this fun traditional holiday slip by without raising a little heck and paying tribute to all my Irish stitching sisters and brothers out there. So, in the spirit of good luck, good fun, and a little mischief of course, I’ve got a special treat for everyone! NOW through St. Patrick’s Day, 2025 (Monday, March 17th, 2025) I’m giving the *downloadable pattern for my latest St. Patrick’s Day project, Lucky in Love away FREE – no purchase necessary (*printed copies are also available for purchase). All you have to do is click the button below to download!

The Lucky in Love pattern includes instructions for a St. Patrick’s Day-themed pillow featuring a green heart, gold sparkles, and three lucky shamrocks. The pillow is done with our signature Primitive Gatherings Hand Dyed Wools appliquéd onto a cream cotton fabric, and uses a 20″ x 20″ pillow form (for extra squish). In addition, the pattern also includes instructions for a set of three wool appliqué mini banners featuring a leprechaun’s hat, a pretty little shamrock with the stitched word “Lucky,” and a pot of shiny gold at the end of a rainbow. They each measure 5 1/4 ” x 5 1/4″ and can be displayed on one of Scotty’s custom clipboards, or any way your heart desires!

Ready to get started? Fire up that printer and get rolling on this project today, and I bet you just might be able to crank it out over the next couple of days – just in time for St. Paddy’s Day! Don’t have what you need in your stash to make the project, and your printer’s out of ink? No worries! You can order the printed version of the pattern along with a convenient project kit on our website so that you can have it ready to go for next year.

Woo-hoo! As soon as I hit post on this bad boy, my weekend officially starts! I can’t wait to just stitch and chill. What are you doing with yours? Now that you have a free pattern to play with, your plans just might need to change! Whatever it is you decide to do, enjoy, stay safe, and for goodness sake, don’t drink too much green beer! See you soon. ~Lisa
