Hey, everyone — happy Halloween!
Isn’t it funny how deciding what to take on a long trip always starts with good intentions, but ends with you wondering if you really need that fifth pair of shoes? I’m deep in suitcase chaos right now as I gear up for my trip to Scotland, with Craftours.com, which I’ll be leaving for this Sunday. Between the idea of rolling hills, historic castles, Scottish wool, and the promise of a menu from Heaven, I can barely take the wait! My suitcase might not be packed yet, but my excitement is full to the brim!
Travel prep mayhem aside, there’s something here at home that I need to share with you before I head off. You might have heard that the annual PG Holiday Gift Box was supposed to be on hiatus this year to give our warehouse “elves” a bit of a break, but your objections and requests were impossible to ignore. Thanks to popular demand, the Primitive Gatherings Holiday Gift Box is back just in time for the holidays!
If you’ve never heard of Jess’s famous Holiday Gift Box, let me explain. Each box is carefully curated to surprise and delight stitchers with a mix of projects and goodies they actually want. Despite the name, the only thing holiday-themed about this box is the time of year it’s delivered. Other than that, the projects and goodies inside are NON-holiday, everyday items that can be enjoyed all year-round. This box is the perfect solution for gifts not only for the holidays, but anytime of the year – OR just to treat yourself for no good reason other than to “stitch every day!”

So, what’s inside this year’s boxes? We’re talking over $150 worth of goodies for just $120 each! Like in years past, you get to choose which experience you want: wool or cotton. Aside from the famous Vande Walle’s caramels we always throw in, the contents of the wool and cotton boxes are completely different. The wool box features wool-themed projects and items, while the cotton box features — you guessed it — cotton-themed projects and items!
Unfortunately, due to the delayed decision to offer the boxes at all, there is no option to combine wool and cotton boxes this year. Also, because of the timing, your box will ship in a plain white box rather than our usual snazzy Christmas-themed version like the ones in the photo, but that’s actually a good thing. It means we were able to spend more on the goodies inside!
The next question is obvious — how do you get your hands on one? Easy! Both boxes are available on the Primitive Gatherings website by clicking the button below! PLEASE NOTE: orders are charged in full when you sign up and will arrive in a plain white box (with a festive sticker, of course) just in time for the holidays. Sign-ups close November 19th, 2025, (or whenever we sell out) so don’t overthink it and miss the bus… grab yours NOW (and a few for your best quilty friends) while they’re still in stock!

Now that we’ve covered the important stuff, I’ve gotta know… which box will you ask Santa to bring? The wool box, packed with cozy projects you’ll love to stitch, or the cotton box, bursting with bright, fresh designs to jump-start your creativity? Or, are you thinking of snagging a couple of each because, well, why not? It’s not like they’ll go to waste, right? Let me know in the comments what you plan to do with yours, and I’ll have fun reading them while I travel. See you when I get home! ~Lisa
