Hey, everyone!

Today’s post is going to be short and sweet — not because I don’t have anything to talk about, but because our website decided this afternoon was a great time to… spaz out (pretty sure that’s the technical term for it) instead of working like it’s supposed to.

To elaborate, if you tried to use the search feature at any point this afternoon, you most likely noticed that the only answer it was willing to give was, “0 results found,” no matter what you typed into the search field — like, what the heck! Needless to say, this little problem threw a bit of a wrench into our gears for a few hours, but fear not. Amy and our IT guy, Jackson, are working on it as we speak… in fact, it seems like things are almost back to normal for the most part, but just in case, now you know what’s going on in case your come across an issue. That being said, I sincerely apologize for any frustration or confusion this might have caused you!

Anyway, I had a fun post planned for today to show off Val Krueger’s latest release in her All About Quilts Fat Quarter Series, but since I wasn’t able to provide a good link this afternoon, I decided to hold off until the system quits being a little glitch and starts behaving itself 100%. In the meantime, I’ll use the opportunity to share a couple of quick reminders about our BERNINA retail store and retreat house hours for the summer instead.

I announced during LIVE with Lisa last week that our BERNINA Department has changed its in-store hours, but I also wanted to mention it here in case you missed it. PLEASE NOTE: effective immediately – we will no longer have regular hours on the weekends. We will be open by APPOINTMENT ONLY on Saturdays and CLOSED on Sundays. The new store hours for both our on-site BERNINA showroom and the Primitive Gatherings Longarm Services Department are as follows:

While we’re on the subject of schedule changes, here’s another note to add to your calendar — our upcoming Independence Day closure. Primitive Gatherings and The Gathering will be shutting their doors to celebrate on Friday, July 3rd, Saturday, July 4th, and Sunday, July 5th, 2026, so go ahead and stock up on anything you might need over the long weekend now so you’re ready to rock! Either way, we’ll be back to our regular business hours on Monday, July 6th at 10:00 a.m. CST, ready to pick up the shenanigans right where we left off.

And for my final calendar-worthy note of the evening… know what day it is tomorrow? My favorite day of the work week — Thursday! Also known as LIVE with Lisa day! This week, in addition to our usual announcements, I’m stepping away from session two of my annual Red, White & Blue retreat to go live, and I’m bringing company with me — several of my retreaters will be joining me as a live studio audience, and I’m hoping a few of them will also be brave enough to hop on camera and share their works in progress along with anything they have to say about their experience at The Gathering so far.
