Are you ready for some fun?

Moda has a treat for all you lucky quitlers!   They are so good to us all…over the next month and into October, we are having a designer Blog Hop…each day you can hop on the selected designers blog for a block design, recipe and little project and Moda has given us some cool door prizes for you all…mine are towers of my 2 newest lines…Little Gatherings and Wool & Needle Flannels…this will be a lot of fun…see below for the schedule of designers…it starts off  TODAY with one of the best…Sandy Gervais- click on her link below to see what she has going on…
All I can say is where has the summer gone?  I have stitched and organized it away and have not posted on my blog once durring August…and I think I am ready to come back to reality loaded and ready to go…I have been working a whole month now with my new assisant  Amy…(aka “the pressing Bitch”I say this so much LOVE…do you know how nice it is to have someone there to press every seam for you?)Amy is learning all sorts of things besides pressing every seam in the latest quilt…newsletter operation, handling my scheduling of shows, teaching, magazine stuff, pattern distribution and much much more to list, even a day of cooking for 20 football coaches for after the big game…it is so nice to not have to do all of this alone…there is a GOD!
I will be in constant contact from now on…you will be sick on me…quilt on girls….there is so much to do…LB

Once a month make 9 blocks of the same fabrics...Get nine different ones back... My girls know how to pick and put fabrics together!😍love my blocks!#primitivegatherings #reproductionfabrics Lots of hand quilting in the last two days... I love stitching on the porch when everyone is just hanging out and watching the sun go down... Look at all those threaded needles... I need another tube as I didn't quite make it..As I roll the quilt I just keep stitching a zig zag pattern as I threaded long lengths of perle cotton...so much fun and to do while watching the babies play in the pool and Momies chase them around... So much fun being grandma!#primitivegatherings #lisabongean #quilt#bigstitchquilting #modafabrics
