I thought I might show you some of the quilts from the booth…they all are going to be in my new book called Flannel Gatherings…for a total of 12 quilts in all…sorry these pics are not that great…my camera battery was dead so i had to take them with my ipad…they are so awesome in person….some are very simple with quilting to die for from…Linda Hrcka, MI, and Val Krueger, NV…some of these quilts can be made in a day and will make great graduation and wedding quilts as well as christmas gifts… Some have wool appliquรฉs..
Flannel Gatherings book…order here
Now do they have to be made in flannel? NO! You can make them out of regular cotton prints too, I have used the flannel to promote my Wool & Needle flannel lines from Moda, with the newest line coming out in late July/ August …I was told there was going to be a bit of a delay because they are improving the grey goods that the line is printed on and that set the release date back a bit..so hopefully not as many defects..i guess it is hard to print well on flannel and the better the grey good the easy it is…I don’t want the book to come out way before the fabric arrives because I want you to use the Moda flannels!…if it comes out earlier some may be tempted to use other flannels….you get my reasons right?
So that’s my story for today…I have a fat 1/8 bundle of my Wool & Needle II to give away with all 32 pieces…if you leave me a comment on which of the quilts you can see here is your favorite? I can see 9 of the 12 …some are kind of hidden…and you can’t see them very well…but I promise the book will have lots of great photos! If you PIN any of these photos make sure they are properly labeled! Thanks….
More markets posts and give-a-ways coming!

Do I have to pick one? Like them all- maybe the large star?
I love them all but if I have to pick……then I guess either the second one or the last one. As always love all your stuff…thank you for the great give away.
Nice! I think I like the second one the best – but I want to see it (and all the others) up close!!
How can I choose just one! I do love the one with the small pinwheels. That is a great quilt to use up scraps. Love your work, Lisa. Have a great show!
I like the little pinwheels and the one next to it with the dark blue background and ? maybe nine patches? Flannel would feel good about now since it was in the 40’s here hast night. Summer has been a reluctant visitor in our area. Be well!
I love the Star in a star in a star quilt! It shines brightly!
Yummy!! I should make them all!
Hmmm, I’d have to say the dark and wonderful rail fence quilt. That must be delicious in flannels! I am pinning it–and properly labeling it! : )
So I love the two that read Amish inspired, the red green gold star, and the cream and navy diamond, but I think my fav is the one that you can only see part of. It’s folded and hanging next to the pinwheels on cream, and I believe the pattern is on your site with the statement that it is a wonderful scrap quilt, which is my fav to make since my collection of fat quarters exceeds anything else I own. Therefore I tend to make scrap quilts and this one is so pretty ! Could use the fat eighths in it for sure!
Lisa,
I’m looking forward to getting your book! I like the quilt with the little pinwheels…..it is going on my to do list for Christmas presents! I love your flannels.
That is a beautiful Split Rail Fence. Think thats my favorite. Your fabrics dance on those quilts. Can’t wait to see your new line. . .and your book.
I love the last quilt pictured! I have 5 boys and it’s so hard to find a “Man’s” quilt to make. I would love to make this one for my son’s HS graduation gift!!!! Love your stuff as always Lisa! xxx
My favorite is the first one shown. Love the large dramatic star in the center. Would like to see more of the floral quilt on the left side of Pic 4. Looks beautiful too.
I would love to make the log cabin one for my log home we are retiring to next year!
Hard to choose – but little pinwheels and the last one would be my picks
I love the third quilt with the large golden and red star. I am so into “stars” right now, and I would love to see the quilting up close! Thank you for sharing Market with us.
Oh, Lisa, I love the one with the little pinwheels!!! The ample background leaves room for some beautiful quilting and also really shows off the fabric in those pinwheels. So eager to see the book and new fabrics. Hope all is available when we make our yearly voyage to your area in late August or early September. A visit to your shop is the highlight of my trip from Nebraska!
I like the quilt with the black brown and tan or cream. Very graphic. Thank you for the giveaway .
The second one with the stars, hearts, eats. Love it.
I love the Black and cream one. It is simple but really beautiful!! I really like them all-as usual. Can’t wait to see your booth in Chicago–or when I get to your store later this summer.
I love the delicate look of the nine patch pinwheel quilt………oh my goodness how lovely.
Congratulations on your new book.
Thanks for the chance to win those amazing Moda flannels :0)
Happy Sewing
I love the first quilt. They all are wonderful, but then again all of your quilts are. Sandie
Sent from my iPhone
The Rose and Green Applique quilt is stunning. What a great background for the quilting to show. Flannel shows the texture of quilting so well, and is great to snuggle with! Look forward to the new line being available. Guess I will need the book too!
Love quilt one. They are all wonderful
They are awesome. I like the rail one best!!
Love, love, love the pin wheels!
It’s hard to chose but I do love the pinwheel block and your pinwheel quilt is a lovely subtle balance. Can’t wait to see a better picture of it. Spring market sounds awesome!
I like # 4 best . I like the way the cornerstones increase in size- very cozy in flannel. If I was making it for a wedding quilt, I would make it in cotton so the guests could sign it and do the backing in flannel. Thank you for a chance to win and please come to Texas DFW area!
Love the black and cream the most of the lineup, though your designs are hard to find one that isn’t great. Also love the Tree of Life you featured just prior to QM. Anxious for the new book and the new fabric. Thanks for all you do.
I love the red, golds and greens in the star in a star. I’m ordering the book, too. Love all your patterns.
Lisa, they’re all just great! I’m a real star fan and the star-in-a-star block is a favorite. But today my choice is the pinwheel chain — so clean and simple. It is timeless!
I really love the “Trip Around the World” quilt with the star and heart appliques! I will definitely need a kit for that one, if you will be having them.
I love the checkerboard pattern on with the little appliquรฉs (second photo). Can’t wait to see these up-close!!!
I love the simplicity of the square in squares, the colors make it come alive. They are all beautiful.
I think the second photo with the applique stars and hearts would be my first project from the new book–can’t wait for it to be available!
This is a hard choice, but I think I like the black and tan best
Love them all, but the one with stars and heart appliques is my favorite. Can’t go wrong with stars and hearts. Would love to make that one for my son and daughter-in-law for their 20th anniversary! Definitely want the book and the fabric.
My goodness how can one chose? they are all wonderful. But I like the pinwheel the best. Thank you for sharing the quilts.
LOVED the pin wheel quilt. Simple BUT elegant!!!!!!!
Love them all….if I have to choose just one, it would be the sweet little pinwheels….lots of pretty scrappy pinwheels on new fallen snow. Love it!
How do you pick just one. I think my favorite of favorites is the Star quilt. I am a novice quilter and can hardly wait until you come to Long Beach, CA in August.
Morning Lisa,
Your Wool & Needle flannels are so soft and cozy! I use them a lot as the base for wool applique. I can’t pick one quilt so I have to pick 2 the quilts I like the best is the Barn Raising and the Black and Tan Diamond…I love diamond shapes. Looking forward to your new book.
Enjoy your weekend,
Leanne
I love the quilt with the large diamond in the center. Very simple yet elegant. Thanks for sharing.
I particularly love the one with the hearts, stars & pennies! Great job, can’t wait to get the book! Can’t wait to see the flannel line too.
I like what I can see of the applique quilt hanging behind the shelves, would love to see that one close up!
Thanks for the chance to win the sample pack of your new flannels!
Wow! They are all great! I like the one with the pennies, hearts and stars in the design… though I’d probably just do all pennies… I also like the one that hit and miss… looks like a hooked rug! ๐ And, who doesn’t like pinwheels? ๐ And, what I really appreciate is the designs with larger pieces… gives us gals that are less experienced with piecing a good chance to make a pieced quilt (in time to be able to warm up under the flannels too)! lol! Awesome! Looking forward to stitching on these!
They are all beautiful quilts and I think I like the second quilt with the around the world design, add the stars and hearts and it would be a beautiful quilt to do in the flannels.
Debbie
Choose just one? Are you kidding? I love them all and will have to get my order in for the book. If I must choose, the most eye-catching for me was the second photo with the hearts and stars applique (LOVE applique!)
Love the little pinwheel quilt…. But then again all of them are gorgeous!!! Thanks for the preview Lisa!
Yes, they are all so beautiful, but I’d have to say I’m loving the first pictured quilt.
Pat Carreon
I enjoyed your booth so much at market, seeing all your quilts it is hard to pick one, but your Tree of Life quilt is one I must make. I enjoyed visiting with you and would love to be in Wisconsin and stay at your home. Your new book is going to be a hit.
That would be your Quilter’s home, :).
It’s a toss up between the pinwheel quilt and the square-in-a-square next to it.
I like the small pinwheels, and the dark quilt next to it. I might just have to make both.
I love them all but my favorite is the folded one next to the little pinwheels. Can’t wait to get your book.
Tough choice, but I like the 3rd one from the top. Beautiful quilting and quilt!
Love those pinwheels! That quilt is my fave from the display.
Like the pinwheel quilt…your creativeness never ends!
I love the second from the top. It is beautiful …but the everything you design is beautiful. You have so much talent!
Love the black and tan square in a square!!
Well, that is like asking to pick your favorite child. But, because I have to, I will pick the star within a star.
They are all just lovely!
Love the colors and the designs ——but then, that’s no surprise. I must own stock in your blocks of the month!
Third one. No, maybe the first one. But that second one calls to me! Oh what the heck…my very favorite is 1, 2 and 3….in no particular order๐.
I LOVE the little pinwheels. Rarely do you see a small design made in flannel ! I cannot wait to make it with the new flannels. Thanks for showing us your great new quilts !
Love the pinwheel quilt and the black and white one – Gorgeous!!
My favorite is the cream background with the red and green applique on it. I love applique everything. But I also like the second one with the stars and hearts.
I love the primitive look of the Trip Around the World quilt. Years ago I made a brightly colored one for my sister for a wedding gift. I actually sewed it together square by square and decided to never do another one. That was before there was strip piecing as I now know it. I may actually have to try another one, with flannels and some applique in the squares, which gives it a whole different look!
Thanks for your blog Lisa, it is truly inspiring!
Diane Z
I’m a sucker for pinwheels, so that would be my favorite. But I think the rail fence or square in a square would be fun to make and a great way to use up some of my flannels. Looking forward to seeing the new book.
Lisa-they are all beautiful! And there are three that I will definitely be making when I get your book-the black/tan/cream, the star in a star in a star, and the pinwheel Irish chain-which is my favorite and the first one on my to-do list!!
I can’t wait to see you Friday at the East Cobb Quilt Guild meeting!!!
Oh heavens above!!! The red and gold, very ,very, rich. I adore it.
I like the last one………rail fence. All of them are gorgeous. Would be so much fun to win the bundle of fat eighths!
Love them all! My favorite for the moment is the second one. Trip around the world with wool embellishment hearts and stars. Thank you for letting us see the new designs for the new book.
I love the appliquรฉ quilt that you can just barely see in picture number four.
Hard to choose Lisa, as they are all wonderful, but I think my choice would be the tree of life, which you didn’t post a picture of yet. Of the ones posted, the little pinwheel one. Can’t wait to se3 these in person.
Oh gee, I see several that I really like but I love the little pinwheels! The square in a square one would be great for so many things!! Great quilts!
I was torn but in the end the second one win!
Love the second one from the top. Hearts and stars a perfect combination .
I Just love the mini pinwheel quilt. I could see it done it just 2 colors or done in all my scraps laying around that my husband keeps asking me why I am saving that little piece of fabric lol.
Love them all! But if I had to choose its a toss up between the 3rd one and the last one. It’s just too hard too pick one favorite!
I Love the ecru and black, reminds me of a bold sunlight and shadow. I also love the bird on the branch pillow with the triangles border. Stunning. I also like the one with the meandering prairie rose ? flower.
Great quilts, love 3 and 4 for flannel- but my favorite isn’t pictured here – it is the one you showed in your last post , the “Tree of Life”
I think the first one is stunning! I love stars!
Such a hard decision, but I will have to go with the trip around the world quilt in the 2nd photo. It is stunning.
Love them all but the little pinwheels speak to me. The flannels are gorgeous.
Love the pinwheel quilt the best. The flannels are beautiful.
The pinwheel quilt!!
Lisa,
I love the feel of flannel so I would pick the White and blue Amish design square within the square to make first.
Barbara
Love those flying pinwheels! They remind me of a spring day with a brisk Michigan wind! I will make them on a soft blue background!
They are all beautiful. It amazes me that you can continue to create so many beautiful designs to share with us. I think my 2 favorites right now are the rail fence quilt and the one with the star and heart appliquรฉ.
They are all beautiful! My favorite one pictured here is the first one. The pillow next to it is also adorable. I also really really love the “Tree of Life” quilt pictured in your previous post. Thank you!
LOVE all of them…especially the one with the stars and hearts in the squares…or maybe the rail fence,,,or maybe the pinwheels!! Can’t wait for the new book and the fabric!! Thanks for sharing Lisa!
I love the tree of life (in the prior post) but in this post my favorite would be the pinwheel one!
Small pinwheels, I think. But want to see them up close!
I love the first one! They are all great. Can’t wait to see the flannel
Loved them all. Can’t wait for the book! I think my favorite is the twisted pinwheels!
Love them all but I really like the red/brown/cream one. Who doesn’t love stars? They are all beautiful and can be easily made…which is what I like! Can’t wait to see the book and fabric!
So glad to hear from you, missed you . I love the one with hearts and stars. can we order the book now, and will you sign it? quilty hugs
I like the one in the last photo as it would be perfect for all the men in my life. Can’t wait for the fabric to arrive and the book will be great to make the quilts either in flannel or cotton, or cotton with flannel backing. Either way they would be awesome.
I love the neutral quilt. Wow! The quilting would really POP! Looking forward to your new book. Happy Memorial Day!
I can’t really say which is my favorite. So will wait until the fabrics and the book come out. Love the colors and glad to see more flannels.
It’s a toss up between the first and second but I will go with the first and the beautiful red star…….awesome! Already have the book on order and would love to win some of the new flannels!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
I love the first one especially but they are all great! When you first mentioned that your book was flannel quilts I really wasn’t too excited because flannel (no way, HOT FLASHES) doesn’t interest me. Now that I’ve seen the quilts I can really see them done in cotton and still being quite beautiful. Thanks for sharing a peak at the quilts.
I love the one with 5 stars! But saying that…it is so hard to choose. Thanks so much for the chance to win. I would love to try your fabrics!
Your work is always fantastic. I wish I could see the last one so, I’ll say the first one. Can’t wait to see your new book and the flannels. Thanks for all the inspiring things that you do.
I liked the “rail” flannel quilt. Having raised 3 boys, it is a perfect quilt for the men in my family! I also think I already reserved a request for the new book. Look forward to seeing you on Thursday at East Cobb Quilt Guild in Georgia.
Hard to pick a favorite but I will have to so the second one is very appealing to me, The stars and hearts remind me of love and the universe. Two great things in life. Thanks Lisa, look forward to the new book.
Love the little pinwheels! And the one with floral applique peeking in from the side. Lots of inspiration!
Can’t wait for the new book! I would want to wait til the Moda flannels were available too. My favorite is a tight tie between the rail fence and the barn raising trip around the world with the wool appliques. they are all really pretty! thanks for sharing a sneek peak with us!
You do such a great job with all your quilts. I think I like the star and heart quilt. Will look wonderful in your flannel fabric line.
It is difficult to pick just one but if I had to it would be the small pinwheel. Love your patterns, just bought the snowman gathering pattern and ordered your wool kit. I’m anxious to get started!
They are all great, but the rail fence is for sure a one day quilt and is stricking. I hope to win your fabric. Nancy P.
I would so love to win some of your fabric. I like the dark and cream quilt with the square in a square in the middle. I am a longarm quilter and that quilt has minimal piecing, but wonderful areas for beautiful quilting. Thank you for posting and for giving away your fabric.
I would love to win some of your fabric. I like the dark and cream quilt with the square in a square in the middle. I am a longarm quilter and this quilt has minimal piecing, but wonderful areas for dynamic quilting.
Lisa, these are beautiful and will be so cozy. My favorite is the second one with the stars but I also love the first and last one. I know I will be making quite a few of them for my family this Christmas. Anxious for the book and line to come out. Great work, again. Mary
Love the rail fence – love all your patterns and fabrics! I’m anxious to see your flannel!
I love the second quilt pic with the hearts and stars!
KarenQ from FV CA
I love the first one, but if the one hanging next to the pinwheel quilt is one, I’d love to see it!! Thanks for the pics!
Love No. 5 with the little pinwheels! All of them are great, but that is my favorite…looking forward to your book!Judy R from Buffalo
I liked the pinwheel quilt. There are some nice looking quilts.
My favorite would be the second one but it is going to be another great book! Need to get that ordered..
I love tem all. Can’t wait for the book and flannel. I think I’ll start with the pinwheel . Great job.
Cheryl YC /CA
Your tan and black is my favorite. Thinking of doing a bedroom in those colors.
I love love love the blue/tan/white quilt!! I can’t wait to see your new book!!!!
That last large quilt that looks like stripes, and I think you posted it previously on your blog, is my favorite. I really want that pattern and your new book, but can hardly wait for your fabric to come out!!
I love the pinwheel quilt!! Do I see an applique with roses? I’d love to have a better view of that one!! Maybe that would be my favorite!
Love all of them but the 2nd one is my favorite. It reminds me of the trip around the world I once made only yours has appliquรฉ and that is my favorite quilting to do now. Once the appliquรฉ bug got me I’ve been at it every since. Love your work Lisa! See you in Raleigh, NC next month.
I am intrigued by all of them but if i had to pick one I would have to pick the second one, though I really like the pinwheel one too.
I love the pinwheel and the 5 log, split rail fence best I think. Looking forward to seeing your flannels Lisa! Happy Memorial Day!
The rail fence really excites me. I have two grandsons graduating from high school and that quilt would be quick, easy and gorgeous, not to mention, soft and warm. I would love to win the bundle of Wool & Needle II. Thank you for offering it.
They are all just beautiful as always. I can’t decide if the Ohio Star, Square in a Square or the Pinwheel is favorite. Synergy I will have to make all three! Can’t wait for the book
The third one with the giant star is my favorite and I have the perfect spot for it. I love working with flannel but haven’t for a long time, this may be the motivation I need,
Thanks for the chance to win!
I love them all, but my favorite is the trip around the world version.
I see 9 but if you coulnt the one by the pinwheels, I see 10. I love the one that has the stars which is the second pic. Love all your designs.
Paula in KY
I love the applique quilt, and the dark one on with the pinwheels – is it a double 4 patch? It and the rails would be great in flannels!
Love them all, but since I have to pick….I choose the second picture with the stars and hearts. Love everything you do. Thanks for being mail order besides your shop. Keeps me in projects and many more than I can finish but I love to look at and feel them.
The star in a star (#2) is my first choice – almost a tie with the lovely pinwheels. I’m working on a dorm quilt for my oldest grandson using your Wool & Needle Flannels. Your flannel doesn’t “fuzz” (I’ve pre-washed it); that is so appreciated. Lisa, your designs, directions and fabrics are great as is the service from your on-line staff.
Love them all! And working with flannel is so comforting. If the applique rose quilt is from that collection, then that one is my favorite. If not, my vote is for the pinwheel quilt.
The first pic is my favorite!!!
Love the deep, rich colors of the rail fence and the airy lightness of the pinwheels. Can’t wait to see the fabrics!
Lisa, wow, I love all but the first one is eye candy to me. Love the almost dimensional affect the te-rec style center star. I think you have really hit the mark with this new book. Can’t wait.
Peggy Dalberto
what great quilts, I really like the trip around the world
This is my favorite!!! Saw a yummy log cabin in the back and to the left in the booth in one picture ๐
Hope to be able to take your class at the Wisconsin show in September.
Patricia from Colorado
The quilting in #3 is beautiful and I love the colors. #4 is also wonderful, great design. Lastly I like #5 the dark blue quilt on the right, which is next to the lighter quilt. They are all lovely!
Lisa, i think I like the one with the dark square in a square center. However, they are all pretty neat!
The very first one is my favorite of the bunch so far!
I love them all, but particularly the trip around the world one with the stars and hearts… so cute!
The 3rd is my favorite….the colors (gold, burg, green) are Awesome together. I will have to say the quilting really sets it off. It reminds me of the metal ceiling tiles that were in old buildings. I have one framed on my living room wall and this quilt resembles it!! I do like them all ‘tho! Thanks for sharing!! Your book will be great !
Love the quilt that looks like a trip around the world with little stars, hearts and some pennies!
Lisa – love what you have done with Moda–Love the pinwheel quilt…..I can’t wait to see it up close….the quilting must make this a must-do…..it is elegant. I also Love the last one…something simple to make the qulting standout and make it a go-to project for someone special! Thank you for always keeping everyone excited about a very fulfilling hobby!!
Love the quilt with the little pinwheels. Seems like it would be a great quilt to take with you on the go, or on a rainy day camping
It’s way to hard to just pick one! My favorite is the Tree of Life that you posted earlier. I love all of the beautiful rich colors of your flannels. I can’t wait for the book!
Stars and hearts and checkerboards – oh my! Or maybe the pinwheels in soft colors with a rich creamy looking background and gorgeous quilting to set them spinning?
I like the quilt in the 6th picture the best. It is so earthy warm, it makes me want to sit in front of a fire wrapped in it. But of course I like all of the quilts. Thanks for sharing and thanks for a chance.
My favourite one is the one with the stars and hearts can’t wait to see the book and the fabric line
I really like them all but I would defintely make the big star quilt and big stitch it. The pinwheel would be great to use scraps from the rest of the quilts.
All are great but I love the first one pictured. I’m a fan of star quilts. Will be waiting for the book to come out so I can make that quilt!
Love the one with the trip around the world center and hearts and stars. Would make a great graduation gift!!
I like the large star and the fifth one. Love your style
The one I like the best is the fifth quilt picture! I will enjoy seeing them all in your new book….
They are all just gorgeous! My favorite right now would be the trip around the world quilt with the hearts and stars, but I would make all of them!
Love the last one. The colors are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
My fav is the first one–what a beautiful quilt, I added the book to my wish list.
I liked the black and cream quilt with the HST in the corners of the borders, simple yet elegant. All of them are very nice and am waiting for the book.
I like them all, but the large yellow and red star is my favorite. I love yellow and bright colors, so it just suits my fancy!
Just when I think I have decided, I change my mind and love a different one! But I guess I would have to go with my first instinct, and say the gold and red star in a star! You really have outdone yourself this time. Just keep on designing and we will keep on buying and making……
I like the second one. The colors are rich, and the variety of blocks looks like it would be fun to put together. It looks like you. Betty L.
Lisa
I love the pinwheel quilt. They all look so warm and cozy.
My favorite quilt of the ones you have on display is the triple sawdust star wall quilt, as it is so striking. The quilting on it looks fantastic!
I like the second one the best. Was able to visit your store in Wisconsin recently and so enjoyed seeing everything up close and personal!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures of your new quilts. They are all lovely, and my favourite one would be the little pinwheels. I was wanting to make a pinwheel quilt and now I found it.
Love the split rail quilt!!! but they all are wonderful…how do you pick a favorite!!!!!
Love them all but the first one’s my fave!
I can’t imagine how beautiful these must be in person with wool! Just yummy!! I really liked the large star quilt – mustard and crimson and sage. I love simple quilts.
I love the pinwheel quilt in an Irish chain setting.
If I had to pick just one, it would be the second one. Although the star quilts are beautiful too!
Love the pinwheels!!
WOW I LOVE THEM ALL. I THINK MY FAVORITES ARE IN PICTURE #4
THE CREAM AND BLACK IS STUNNING AND THE CREAM WITH THE PINK FLOWERS WOULD LOOK GREAT
IS BEAUTIFUL. CAN’T WAIT FOR THE FABRIC LINE AND BOOK TO ARRIVE .
DIANN
love them all! Think my favorite is the large evening star within a star within a star. Thanks for a chance
to win some of your fabrics.
I am torn between the Pinwheel in picture #5 and the red and green applique in picture #4. It is hard to choose.
It would have to be the 2nd one, the Trip Around the World. Reminds me of me grandmother, but with a little bit of a modern twist; I love it!
My favorite is the one with the hearts and stars, it’s very unique and striking. Can’t wait for your next book. Sounds like it’s available around my birthday, July 30. Happy Birthday to me!!
The last one is my favorite…love the rich colors. They all look so soft & cozy. I can see that would be my go to blanket!
I love the first one! It’s calling me loudly! I am a star lover and the large red star and five antique style blocks look wonderful!!
Lisa, i just love, love ,love the pinwheel quilt. It is absolutely my favorite!!!!! Can’t wait to see you at the quilt expo in Raleigh next month.
I love them all ! The colors are so beautiful together. If I had to pick a favorite, I would go with the second one. I love the use of the stars and hearts together . The colors are so rich. This quilt would look great in a rustic setting, like my family room. Thanks for your inspiration! Can’t wait for the book.
They are all lovely, but the last one is my favorite.
Blessings,Patti
I am loving the 2nd quilt. I cannot resist the stars and hearts applique
I love the white pinwheel. And all of the rest are quite lovely!
I like a couple of them and cant wait to see them . My first choice would be the large star, the first one.
I love flannel! Living in northern Ontario flannel is our friend in the winter. I love the nine-patch pinwheels.
The others are wonderful as well. All would go well in my house as I live in a log home.
Have the book on pre-order so fabric to go with it would be so awesome. Love the rail fence. Looking forward to the arrival of the book. Thanks!
I love the little pinwheel quilt. It reminds me that soon it will be summer and how nice that would look on my bed.. can’t wait for the pattern and fabric! So simple, yet so elegant! The quilting is beautiful also… love the feathered leaves!!
Really looking forward to this book. I like more than one but if I am picking one it would be the second quilt. Great quilts!
The quilt getting my favorite vote is the last one pictured. I like the colors and it look s like it should be easy to piece.
I love pinwheel blocks so that’s my favorite and the quilting is beautiful on it too! They are all great though and I love flannel quilts so this will be a must have book for me!!
I like the second quilt with the hearts and stars. Good job, Lisa! Thanks!
Pick one!?!? love several of them…like the first star quilt, also the pinwheel.
Oohh Lisa!! They all look great! Just what we need Down Under as we move into winter – I think I could really snuggle under the pinwheel quilt…or the fence rail…hmmm… Your beautiful book is a must!
I love the last quilt…Cant wait for the book!
I love the little pinwheels with light background. Can’t wait to see your new book.
Greetings from Northern Saskatchewan! I love the trip around the world with the appliquรฉ on it! Simply stunning!
Thanks for the chance! Love your blog
Love the star in a star in a star! The quilting looks spectacular too!
i so enjoy all your creations. I am so lucky to be able to make a small shop sample for Quilting by the Bay where I work. Sandy brought back such treasures to show us!!! I love the cream and pinwheel quilt…I am a sucker for pinwheels they just remind me of youth and summer days!! Michelle Pratt
So hard to choose just one- but the cheddar, red and green star in a star is luscious.
Hello from Paris Ontario. I love the quilt with the diamond centre. It is beautiful and has a very contemporary feel to it which would appeal to many. Thanks.
Greetings from Alabama! Lisa, the quilt that caught my eye was #2. I have always loved Trip Around the World patterns – never made one but always intended to do so. Also, I love working with Flannel but haven’t done this since the 90’s when flannel was so popular in the quilting world. I am glad to see it making a come back! Back in the 90’s, the quality of flannel was not so great and it was sometimes hard to work with. I’m pleased to see how much the quality has improved since the early days. I would love to win the 1/8 yard bundle so put my name on the list please!
Three…definitely three. Love the simplicity, colors and the quilting is awesome.
Happy Memorial Day
WOW! What a beautiful array of quilts. Can’t wait for the book to come out so I can purchase and have all of Lisa’s books.. My favorite quilts were the “Amish-style” ones with all of the wonderful quilting on them. Cudos to the two quilters. What a great job, Lisa, You have done it again.
Do you mean “greige” goods?
The Black and Beige quilt is my favorite . Looks like i will be adding another project of yours to the “I have to make” pile.. Thanks for the inspiration.
They all look great – can see making most of them. Like the last one best, The quilting on some of them is fatastic. I’m new to longarm quiting and hope to some day be able to do quilt like that.
My favorite is the one with the stars and hearts. They are all great. Congrats on a new book.
I love the little pinwheel quilt as well as the one right before it. Simple but dramatic. I can’t wait to see your new book
I absolutely love the Ohio Star in the gold & Maroon. The quilting on that is exquisite!. I have pre-ordered the book because there isn’t one quilt that I wouldn’t love to make and several look as if I could get them made over a weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your talents.
Love the star quilt with golds and deep reds, but all are equally gorgeous!
Definitely the stars and hearts! Can’t wait for your book!
First thought was the quilt with the appliqued stars & hearts, tons of tiny blocks. Then, I noticed the quilting on the third one down – the mustard & burgundy star. Absolutely beautiful!! Love it!! Happy Memorial Day!
I adore the two quilts shown on the last picture. I love the idea of the contrast between the modern geometric quilt designs using “old fashioned cozy” flannel fabrics. I’m definitely going to add this treasure book to by bookshelf!
I just love the black and cream, box in a box quilt. Very classy with those colors. I love your fabric lines you have now, I can’t wait to see your flannel line. I LOVE FLANNEL!!!!!
I like them all but especially the one with the small blocks and stars. Can’t wait for the book
I really like the square in a square pattern. It meets all the needs of primative and contempoary.
Can’t wait to see them in person, but my favorite is between the small pinwheel quilt and the rail fence.
But they are all beautiful and the quilting is stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lisa – thank you for sharing your creativity with so many of us – love quilt #4 – it has great depth. Looking forward to your new book. Thanks!!!!
Can’t wait for the new book. Love the first quilt you posted , the pinwheel one, and the one off to the left that looks like it has log cabin blocks in the background
They are all great, but I think the little pinwheel quilt is beautiful. Can’t wait for your book to come out.
I like the pinwheel quilt, it is very sweet. I am so looking forward to your new book.
Love them all! If I had to pick one it would be the little wheels!
I like the black and cream, square within a square. What a great way to show off the quilting!
You’ve done a terrific job as usual Lisa! My favorite is the star within a star. It’s gonna look great in fall colors!
Wow! They are all beautiful. I’m definitely going to have to get your new book. I think my favorite is the Rail Fence quilt. I can see that on my bed this fall/winter!
My favorite is the 3rd one- red and tan stars.
I love them all but the rose and green peaking out caught my eye!
I love the last one with the rail fence block. It makes me want to grab a book and some wool applique and get in my chair and read and stitch the day away!
The cream pinwheel is a great quilt the quilting looks great on it also. But I really like the cream applique with the red and pink flower that is half covered, this the quilt also going to be in the book? And is it a wool applique? Great job.
Lisa, all of the quilts are WONDERFUL!!! No way could I pick my favorite. Your such a talented person.
I love all of them – but #4 – the cream and black is my favorite!!
Wow! They are all beautiful! I do especially like the large star, if I have to pick just one. It’s nice that you are waiting for the Moda fabric to be complete, promoting the total package!
Love them all but would make the cream with the pinwheels first!
I really like the little pillow with the bird on it. That is so cute, but my favorite large quilt was the black and tan square in a square. It is very classy.
I love the second one!
I really like all your quilts. If I had to select one, the star with gold/cheddar and deep red is perfect for my wall.
I love them all and can not wait to see the book!
i love the red and cheddard but i always love stars quilts and of course anything u do is good.i was there last year w gloria p and i am still talking about your store and everything fun!!!!!! sara higginbotham
Of course they are all great but I am most fond of the small pinwheels on the light background. In the picture it is hanging by your Camp Randall quilt which is on my to-do-list too!
I like the second one best, “Trip Around the World”, looking forward to seeing the book! I like everything you do.
The second quilt is my favorite with the stars and hearts – perfect to give to a Gold Star Mother.
I am drawn to the quilt with the large square-in-a-square center, modern yet traditional.
Love the pinwheel quilt, can’t wait for the new book.
I was lucky enuf to see them in person when our “hive of stitchers” were guests at “The Gathering”. They
are all lovely & yummy, but my favorite is still the Star in Star – the simplicity of the look with the beautifully
detailed quilting are what do it for me!!!
I like the ercu one with the pinky flowers on the left.
Love them all and can’t wait to get the book! I guess the Tree of Life is my Fave!
Besser
I love the second quilt with the hearts and stars! It is beautiful! Can’t wait until the new book comes out!
