Is anyone still having issues with our site…Please let comment if you can now access our site…thanks in advance LB
Here is what I got from Robb our website builder…
lisa,
earlier I mentioned the person who asked if it was a virginia problem… well, as it turns out…
to make the site load faster no matter where the visitors are, I use a service that pre-caches content on multiple servers globally. that way if you are in california, you get a server that is geographically closer to you, and it sends data to your computer a lot faster than if you had to wait for it to come from michigan or somewhere else.
for some reason, a couple of those servers had been blacklisted by my web server… and one of those servers happened to be in – virginia. and that server provided content to ohio, virginia, parts of illinois, and connecticut… all the main regions of the people who have filled out the contact us page.
the blacklist is being removed as we speak, and the good and patient people who have been helping me to narrow down the cause of this, will be able to enjoy the site once again.
thank you for your patience and trust in me while I worked out the problem and solution!!

Hi Lisa – No problems accessing the site (thank goodness!) but I did notice this . . . I was going to order the thread kit for Summer Penny Garden – the site lists it at 65.00 – but when it moves to the shopping cart it is $90.00. So far, that’s all I’ve noticed. Love the new website – and all of you at PG, too! You all help make it possible for me to enjoy my hobby!!
Posted yesterday of not being able to get in (from Virginia!) — tried after midnight and the site opened right up just as it was supposed to do. Thanks for getting the issue(s) resolved and order is placed!
Thanks for fixing your website, I live in Ohio and was unable to see anything on your website till this morning and I all ready placed my order. Thanks again, Teri Pierce
I can access website fine from my iPhone but from laptop– no pictures– this is on a PC as well S a Mac.
I have gone thru all the cache clearing etc. the interesting thing is that about a week ago I could see pics– now I can’t — this is true on laptops thru Firefox as well as safari. I live in western Massachusetts if this helps
I tried yesterday to order and could not get in. After reading your e-mail today I tried and had no problem. I’m glad it wasn’t me! Ordered some good things, anxious to receive them. Thanks, love your products. Linda in PA
No problem here getting your newsletter. Loved all the content! As soon as I have three minutes I plan to place an order! But I did have to search to see your location!!! I was hoping to visit your store…NOT! I am in Ok. !!
Happy Holidays, Sandi
The issue for me in PA is fixed. I was really worried that I wasnt going to get my order in so this made my day. Jessica has been so helpful too. Sure you must give thanks for your great staff. Sheila Plock
I’m happen to say that I can now access your website. Thanks so much for being diligent in resolving all the problems. Its much appreciated. Thanks again.
I was having problems accessing the site from PA. All is well now!!!! Yeah!!!! By the way, Michelle was awesome trying to troubleshoot with me. Big thank you to Michelle!
Lisa, I’m very glad the website is working. I have placed my order and enjoyed emailing back and forth with Michelle. For the record, I was the one who suggested that it was a “Virginia” problem. Glad I was able to help.
For once this isn’t a problem, I’ve been able to access the new site just fine. My problem is that I can’t get your blog posts to come as email the way they used to. Thanks for the gifts as part of the open house…they’re a nice treat for those of us doing all the shopping for everyone else! Happy Holidays Lisa- you sharing your talents with the rest of us spreads a lot of happiness in the world.
