FRIVOLS!

Did you know I have a Frivols tin?  Do you know what a Frivols tin is?

CT-Frivol-Contents

They are cute tin boxes that feature a little quilt made with a current MODA fabric line.  There are 12 total…Mine is number 7!  Lucky no. Seven…that’s ME…Lucky to be able to share my love of fabric with my MODA fabric lines!!!!  Each tin has fabric to make a little quilt. Moda…has put together this project, its packaging and they are just so cute…I love to collect tins…to store all kinds of quilty goodies in…

So this tin features my current fabric line called Songbird Gatherings and here is the little quilt that this little bundle makes!  It is 28″x 28″, a nice size. Someone also said some pretty nice things about Lisa Bongean in this pretty box…made me choke up a bit!!!IMG_5855lisabbongeanOh..one more thing…each of  the Frivols tins come with a block pattern and our selvage quote on it too! How fun is it to collect selvages with quotes on them!!! This quote is one of my favorites and how fitting for Songbird Gatherings!IMG_3921 (2)…if you collect all 12 tins you will have a little sampler quilt too…here are some of the blocks from the previous six tins.  If after reading this post if you MUST have one of these limited edition tins…you can get yours HERE

Now this was one long post…so to reward you…do you want to win a tin?  I’m sure Moda sent me something to give away and I’ll sweeten it up a bit too!!! Share with me what YOU think I should design next for a  fabric line? colors, theme or whatever!!!…I’m thinking this will be fun to read and see if we think the same!!! Now keep in mind…I have some already in the works, so it really won’t be the next…but future…I will also do a give-away on Instagram this weekend too and another post about…something Frivolous I do!

Well the fun must come to an end and I must pack for MI…you will read this while I’m already there…all for now…LB

  1. Something spring oriented, maybe using the colors that you used in last years SBOW. The colors and applique designs ware so beautiful!!!

  2. Hey Lisa – thanks for asking, would so love to see something bright ‘n bouncy (yellows, florals, and stripes)…was recently in Amsterdam @ Petra Pins shop and was inspired at how different their aesthetic is…would be to pull some of that into your great designs! Take Care –

  3. I am always on the lookout for more fabrics that I can use to reproduce those wonderful, colorful quilts made by the PA Germans. Very

  4. I would like for you to design a kid’s fabric group. It would be so fun to see you do something out of your comfort zone. I bet it would be awesome!

  5. I am thinking fall. Not bright yellows but more orange, brown, tan, of course cheddar. With your hint of primitive it would look stunning and could be used for all seasons.

  6. I love the Frivols. In response to your request for ideas for a fabric line…..I think about your lake house and the anchor that sits in the cove. I think about designs that would incorporate the beauty of all that and colors that you see when the sun comes up or sets on the water.

  7. I was thinking about greens, maybe with yellows, and first thought, Grandma’s Gatherings, since you are so smitten with your little buddy! Greens and yellows instead of pink and blue, would cover everyone’s needs! I was also thinking about children …Storytime Gatherings?

  8. I would like to see something with black, red, and cream. Maybe throw in a bit of gold. Anything you come up with I would love. You never seem to disappoint!!debbiegoad55@yahoo.com d

  9. I would like to see something with black, red, and cream. Maybe throw in a bit of gold. Anything you come up with I would love. You never seem to disappoint!!

  10. I love your Frivols tin. Great fabric line. Maybe something with small dots – pastels colors or something fall – love the rust / golds / oranges.

  11. How about something in red and apple green for Christmas? I like your fabric range and collections. I noticed that you used pure white as a background on some of your new quilts. I like it-it’s a different look.

  12. Hi, Lisa! I love your Frivols. I think I’m just going to have to buy it. :). I’m thinking an Autumn or Halloween Gatherings line is in order-with your special touch to it.

  13. I always love the reds and pinks that you have in your wools. The wool you used in Penny Garden is just luscious and so would fabric. Although, I always love anything you design! Can’t wait to see what it is.

  14. I love your fabric lines, but I would like to see more purple mixed into your lines. I probably use too many purples, I guess that’s my thing.

  15. Hey Lisa…how about northwoods gathering? Pine trees/greens, fish/silver blues, bobbers/dark reds, tree trunks/brown. Just an idea!

  16. What a beautiful line or range😂
What about a gathering of friends in shades of blues! Maybe little words to represent our quilting friends? Just my silly thoughts, but it does make me smile. Or friendship gatherings. I so enjoy hearing about all that you do!

  17. I would love to win YOUR frivols! Since you are a Grandma, it would be nice to see some baby fabrics in your favorite colors and style!

  18. How about Floral Gatherings. Last summers block of the week and freebie had a lot of flowers. Snowman Gatherings but with flowers.

  19. Hi, Lisa! You are one amazing woman! I get tired just reading what you’re doing! Since family is so important to you (and all of us), how about Family Gatherings? I like the play on words, and you could feature little children, game pieces, puzzle pieces, candy, or things that remind you of family and a house or two to celebrate your lovely home…and an anchor!

  20. Love your little Frivols quilt!!!
I agree with a Children’s line. I would be excited to see what you would design .
    I love blues and reds.
I am not able to find many Turkey reds and poison green reproduction fabrics. Would like to have these available.
Looks like you and Drew had Fun!
    Happy Quilting!

  21. Dusty purples, like heather and lavender, and rich purples, like eggplant, to coordinate with the gorgeous reds, browns, blues, and creams you gravitate toward. They’d add even more depth.

  22. Lisa, you left this wide open. So I would love to see what you would do with purples and all of your greens. I like to see irises with dragonflies. Can’t wait to see what the next line is.

  23. I would love to win a tin! I haven’t really done primitive quilty, just woodwork, but I love all your fabric. Whatever you design will be great.

  24. Hi Lisa ,I’d love to see a garden gatherings. Birds , flowers , garden gate , gazebo, dragonfly , things you see in the gardens ! Love all your work , it’s really beautiful !

  25. I love the Frivol!
Suggestions? I wish there were more blue choices. I am stuck on taupe and dusty blue and wish I could find it in your sweet small prints and plaids and stripes

  26. Hi Lisa,How do you do it? Coming up with so many ideas for fabric lines, my brain hurts coming up with an answer to your question…. 😝 Anything with cheddars or yellow, we can never find enough choices in those yummy colors! Maybe beach side gatherings with your new connection to California! I love your Frivols tin, and you’re right, who can’t always use another tin for goodies!!

  27. How about a line honoring your beautiful lake house and surroundings, the water, the land, the sky. Muted blues, greens, browns. This was what first came to mind.

  28. We have a second home in the Hiawatha National forest in the UP of MI. I watch the colors and textures of the forest change with the seasons and often think how beautiful these colors and textures would translate into fabric lines. I think a perfect new fabric line would be Hiawatha Gatherings or Gatherings from the Hiawatha Forest. 🌲🍁🌾🍄🌿🕸🍃🐾❄️💦

  29. Hello Lisa – how about a soft teal, robin`s egg blueish, greenish grey, soft grey, yellow tinged

ivory, and a pop of soft muted red?

  30. I am loving browns and pinks, maybe similar to fabrics from the 1800’s. I know anything you do will be awesome.

  31. Hi Lisa! Love the little quilt you designe for the Frivol tin. Since this is an election year, I’m thinking something like Heritage Gatherings or Glory Gatherings. Fall is such a beautiful time of year and colors to reflect that in a line of fabric would be beautiful.

  32. Hello Lisa – maybe a soft teal, robin`s egg blueish, green/grey, grey, yellow tinged ivory, and a pop of a soft muted red?

  33. Lisa- I love your new line! All the prints are so wonderful. I would love to see some green, deep green as well as orange and yellow. I love all of your neutrals so more with small prints is always great. I am hand quilting my quilt with some of your lovely green fabric and I am wanting more! Thanks for the chance to win one of the Frivols tins. They are amazing. K-

  34. How about some puppy love? Puppy Love Gatherings! Aww, would be so cute. I like the Grandma Gatherings idea too…although I’m not a grandma yet. Maybe someday ♥ Are you going to be in Paducah this year? Thinking about making my hubby take me on a road trip to see you. I’ve been saving up 🙂 Loved your blog and the beautiful pics. Very cute pic of you and Dru. Made me smile. I’ve been eyeing your frivol..Would love to make a quilt out of that line for my bedroom. Curtains to match. Those colors are my favs. Take care!! xoxo

  35. Would love to see a beach kids line. Sand buckets, starfish, turtles, sailboats. Might even have to add puppy dogs.

  36. I would love to see some ‘cheddars’, maybe ‘poison greens’–could make some great projects with both of those colours.

  37. You are the best with clever names, but I would love a line with greens, yellow, and red. Red is a neutral in my life, but I once had this medium yellowish green with a tiny bit of yellow and red in the tiny print. That fabric made me so happy everytime I found a place to use it – mostly appliqué designs. It was a sad day when it was all gone – every scrap! I could see some soft greens to go with the medium yellow green. A red with a small print – maybe black. Throw in a cheddar with tine red and green. Oh my!!!

  38. I would love to see teddy bears, kites, wagons, a town home parade, maybe a frog or two. Celebrating a family growing with little ones. Adding blue. Then the other half of the line could be dolls, a carriage or stroller, included in the parade, maybe a pin wheel or two. Adding pink. Thank you for allowing me to dream. Hope to see you soon. Hi to Nick.

  39. I love those new quilts with all the little pieces. How about Halloween? Maybe the tiny characters could be ghosts or other seasonal figures – instead of dots. Or Valentine’s Day/love fabrics.

  40. I know you probably have to go with popular colors, at least to some extent, but I would love to see some dark teal fabrics, some greens that cross the line between army green and bronze, and more of your great light fabrics with tiny prints. But you know what? You always come up with great prints/fabrics on your own! Thanks for offering the giveaway.

  41. I would love a Valentine range (see I’m learning;-) from you! Something with pink, red, a bit low volume and perhaps grey. You know not over-the-top Valentine just a few tiny hearts, little flowers, a text print … things like that. I’m sure that would be great!

  42. Love, love, love your new line!
I would like to see some light background shirtings with brown. I need a whole bunch of them soonish! Not black, blue, red, but brown please!

  43. Welcome back to Mi Ms. Lisa.
Next should be a Halloween line. Oranges and blacks with candy corn and ghosts designs.

  44. I thinking nursery rhymes, bo peep, miss muffler to name a few. Or maybe a line with different dog breeds. Hmmm
    Love your fabric.

  45. I am currently in love with your latest line of manly type fabrics because I have a house full of them and it can be hard to find nice ones to work with. Something with purple in it would be fun and a favorite color of mine.

  46. Lisa, how about Americana, not just bright red whites and blues but warm rich red whites and blues along with some rich golds and olive greens! Ooohhh yeah!!! Love all your fabrics and patterns!!

  47. Cathy R
I would love to see a deep rich red and off white line with all the mini prints you do so well. It would look wonderful in the winter, be perfect for Christmas and of course for Valentines day and be timeless.

  48. Would love to see a Christmas line from you, but like everyone else, anything you come up with will be a favorite. Your frivol is awesome. I definitely want to have it. Thanks for the chance to win one.

  49. I love everything you do, but I would love to see a Fall/Halloween line with blacks, golds and oranges. Thanks for your posts, I love reading about everything you are working on!

  50. Lisa love each of these quilts and I am thinking to make one of them for my own bed in blues……..so I would like to see more blues with cream. Have a great time and I look forward to seeing what wonderful things you get for us at market

  51. Lisa, I just continue to shake my head on “how can one woman have so much talent and energy in one vessel”…You are so many women’s role model. The Tins are gorgeous and I would be more than lucky to win, but I would be honored. As for a suggestion to a fabric line? My suggestion would be a green,,,,yes a green line of fabric. We see the blues, reds, creams, etc…..but how about huges of greens with hues of yellow,,,the world is endless. Names for the line are endless with the love of your gardening! What do you think?

  52. I like the above suggestions. I think the next line should be called Harvest Gatherings. Very happy you have a booth in Chicago. Needs to be bigger next time😊.

  53. Hi Lisa – I am thinking of something in a spring line. Lighter Blues, yellows lighter reds but not pink a brighter white. That would be fun !!!

  54. Hi Lisa. I would love to see a collection using all the Primitive colors but with grey as the neutrals instead of creams.

  55. Well Autumn is my favorite time of year, so my idea is Sunflower Gathering in rich autumn colors. Remember the book Autumn Gatherings? Love that book too!

  56. How about Farm Gatherings? You could go with harvest oranges, golds, reds, greens, browns. Or Berry Gatherings? Blues, reds, purples, blacks.

  57. I would love to see a pastel line in colors that will work back to your other lines. I see beautiful muted lighter versions of your color palette. This seems to be a theme in all the comments. We must all have spring fever! Keep up the great work,

  58. I love all your designs. I would love to see another patriotic line. I loved Old Glory Gatherings!

  59. Your tin ensamble Lisa, “the cutest ever!”
Thinking a blue line might be in your future; I loved Snowman Gatherings and maybe a
Traditional blue would be a good fit? So in love with your mini’s Girl!

  60. I have no creativity when it comes to thinking up fabric lines. I leave it to the experts like you!! You do a great job and I love all your fabric lines. I’m sure that you already have some great ideas rolling around about what your next line of fabric will be!!!

  61. Such a beautiful fabric line! I love it when a designers various lines work together, so maybe a lighter version would work well.

  62. Would also live a pastel line, in blues and grays with a touch of red. You are a great designer so I am sure you have the next fabric line already in your head. Have a great day.

  63. How about a fabric line around lakes….beaches, boats, swimming, kids, Sandy feet, etc but in your beautiful colors? I would snap it up! Love what you design and love you Lisa. Keep sending the grandson pics….I am living vicariously!

  64. I have a antique quilt that has been hand down to me. Not sure of the original colors but now it looks pink and grey. I love the fresh look. Prints are tiny and the grey is a shirting. Recently I needed a red homespun and could not find it anywhere in Ga. My quilt shop told me they were not making much homespun anymore. I love adding woven homespun with regular cottons in my quilts. Bring us more wovens!!! I did find my red on my trip to PG Wisconsin last month. 😃

  65. I would something with purple! Purple doesn’t seem to be in any of the new lines. .A primitive purple and green would be gorgeous! Love your work, thanks!
    Kathy

  66. You’ve hit a bullseye with each collection so far! How about shades of blue thru to indigo, with whites and creams? Yum!

  67. Patriotic Gatherings. Blues, reds, cream, tan. A folksy design would be great with Uncle Sam applique

  68. I’m loving the songbird gatherings Lisa! The frivolous tin would be a positive addition to my collection of the fabric line I have already purchased! As far as a new line, green came to mind immediately. With red being a favorite color of mine, I’d have to add the turkey red but not necessarily Christmas! Whatever you come up with will be fantastic!

  69. Something with cheddar color as it’s base would be scrumptious. I love all your designs so anything would be great

  70. My second idea is football gatherings. Browns and tans. Accent color could be red, blue, green, yellow, then you could make one for your favorite team. Go Pack!,

  71. I’m always looking for words on fabric. Your colors are great… Just more words, numbers, lists, music……

  72. I would love to see a spring or summer line with purples and greens in it. Something that would be like walking on a flower garden path. Love all of your designs, though. Thanks for sharing a part of you with your quilter friends.

  73. I love all your small prints. Perhaps you could design a line with more springtime colors — lighter blues, yellows, aquas and raspberry pinks for a pinwheel design quilt.

  74. Love the frivols. Colors in a new line of fabric would be fun in blues, greens, Browns and yellows, the colors of being outside by a lake relaxing. Thanks.

  75. Blue would be my color of choice- now that you are in that beautiful lake house you will have lots of inspiration
    Love all your lines

  76. My bucket list contains a “modern” quilt….bug it’s hard for me to find the solid back ground fabric that has the warmth of your designs….make any sense? Jmh

  77. I would favor something for your Wisconsin roots…….like cheese and beer!!!! Seriously, I don’t know much about color choices for fabric but I LOVE the little figure designs. How about deer or squirrels?

  78. I loved the colors in Lakeside gatherings and would love to see you work in those colors again!

  79. Love your tin. Your new line is gorgeous. Red and white/cream fabric line. Second choice would be a fall line. It is my favorite time of year.

  80. Love your tin. Love your fabric lines even more. I would like to see something with Blues & Yellows!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  81. I love your colors and patterns and would be in your store way too much if it were closer! It’s my dream to make it up there someday! As for a new line someday, I have been admiring g the yellow quilts with red and green in them. Somewhat similar to what you have, just a lot more yellow, a cleaner look one might say.

  82. Lisa, I don’t think I could tell you what to design next. Love, love your work!! Was at the Lancaster quilt show & stopped by your booth. Spent a little too much money, BUT had fun doing it. Bty, your staff is always so helpful, very informative & pleasant.

  83. I love the little tin idea. I like to buy little kits like that and take them to the cottage to work on and use them for Christmas gifts. I would like to see a fabric line from you that has to do with summer at the cottage. Like, log cabins, trees, bears, moose, fishing. I have had some fabric like that but the way you design fabric, I know it would be so much better.

  84. Lisa, I love the Songbird line of fabrics, especially the little birds. I love these little conversation prints/shirtings, they are just so cute. And I would like to see more. What about a fall themed line (not that I want fall to arrive as I am still waiting for spring). But prints that have different leaves and/or mushrooms. Whatever you do it will be fabulous.

  85. Thank you for offering us a “giveaway.” I like everything you do so I don’t know that I can offer much as a suggestion but maybe something with tan, cheddars, brown, little green, maybe some orange but not Halloween orange. Can’t believe I am not suggesting something with RED since that is my favorite color and you do red very well. What about something with an Americana theme…then I get my red!

  86. More cheddars and browns. I love everything that you do and will buy a ton of your next line regardless. Can’t wait to see you in Paducah in a couple of weeks!

  87. I would like to see something in pink, blue and brown. These make some awesome quilts. Can’t wait to see what you pick/design.

  88. Maybe because I’m a preschool teacher, I love the primary blues, reds, greens, and yellows but in primitive hues. I haven’t seen anything you design that I don’t love so you can’t go wrong in my book 😊 Thanks for a chance to win!

  89. I love all your designs…was at your booth yesterday at the Chicago Int’l. Quilt Festival…Love, Love the new Songbird Gathering as I am a “red” fan. I love the teals and grays combinations with a dash of pinks??? Surprise us beautifully, as always!

  90. I love your Lake Gatherings. I would love to see colors that reflect the lake in the fall 🙂
I love your new home pictures. Enjoy that beautiful world there!

  91. Lisa…love all your designs and fabric lines. Cheddar would be a great color to focus on, with little tiny flowers or leaves.

  92. while I love the historical prints, I’d like to see you do something with the bright pinks, yellows, and aquas.

  93. I love the collections you have put together and have purchased most of them. I would love to see a patriotic collection.

  94. You’ve already created so many great fabric designs. I loved the Lakeside Gatherings with the yellows and grays. I would love a new line with Aqua and gray. Thank you for all you contribute to the quilting world!

  95. I would love to see your version of a basket quilt with chocolate browns and dark pinks! I love the Songbird Gathering line and everything you do with wool too! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  96. I would love to see some fall woodsy colors. But anything you do is great!! Thank you so much!

  97. Oh man, I love them all but would love to see a fall line that includes oranges & teals, birds leaves baskets that type of thing . Thank you so much for the chance !!!

  98. I love your fabric collections! Those small pinwheels are to die for! Wonderful! I always have a hankering for a good patriotic collection….but that is just me!

  99. in honor of your migration to California think about doing wildflower gatherings..we have so many this year and I love the yellows and purples along with the greens..but you are so creative you probably thought about that already!

  100. I love everything Primitive Gatherings. I have been stuck on civil war, etc. type fabrics for quite some time. I would love to see some brighter colors again.

  101. I don’t know how you keep the fun coming for us … so much inspiration to keep me in my sewing room! I’ve loved all of the Gatherings lines, but one of my favorites was an early line of all browns/neutrals (can’t remember the name of the line). I love the small prints, so since you’ve done miniature gatherings, how about another line of even smaller prints called ‘Petite Gatherings’ or ‘Minnow Gatherings’ (to go with the lakehouse) or ‘Itty-Bitty Gatherings’. I better focus on my work now! Thanks for the opportunity.

  102. I have been drawn to newsprint fabric lately. You could use sewing words/phrases or even farmhouse words. That seems to be the in thing now. I think maybe drawing colors from your Blue Barn painting would be beautiful…teal, gray, soft black and maybe a touch for yellow/gold. Maybe even make one of your prints on a larger scale to be used as a border. Love everything you do and thanks for the awesome giveaway.

  103. I am thinking small writings that would cheer us up. Like your blog. Antique purples would be different and nice. I am enjoying making my Songbird Frivol that I purchased at the CA store.

  104. I’m thinking some writings on fabric to cheer us up, like your blog does. Antique purples with blacks and/or browns. I am enjoying Songbirds Gathering Frivol which I purchased while in your CA store.

  105. How about a true red, black and white line? Still use the same small prints, maybe some a little larger but this would be more “crisp”.

  106. Wouldn’t it be time to have birds as a theme? In puple (like Heather), yellowish (like curry) and kind of blue (cobalt, if that’s the right name).
Beginning to like your work more and more, and more……. .
    Marianne

  107. Lisa, whatever you design is totally awesome!! I just can’t figure out how you continue to come up with such great fabric lines!! I love them all!!

  108. I am really in the mood for spring! I love your small prints and would love to see them in lighter more pastel tones – like Spring!

  109. Lisa: thinking of Teals and Taupes, (as the changing colors of the water and the warm sand) with a primitive twist. These colors could also be interchanged with the colors now at Anchor Point at some time. LOVE the Frivols tins, especially tin #7 🙂 Thank you for being an inspiration……

  110. I would love to see a civil war /primitive quilt done in creams and blues..I know you are just the person to design something stunning!, thanks for all you to do and opportunity to win somethings!

  111. I love all that you do. Would love to work with your fabrics with some grayed shirtings and gray backgrounds along with pink and red and lime with a text theme.

  112. Hi Lisa – I am thinking that as a Canadian, I would love to see something that both our fabulous countries enjoy. So how about a line with the theme of “hockey”? I am thinking of the origins of the game, on frozen ponds in the winter bundled up in sweaters and toques, skates and hockey sticks and of course, the puck! Am loving these little tins so am really hoping!!!

  113. Hi Lisa – I am thinking, as a Canadian, of something that binds our two countries together and that is a love of hockey! My thoughts are to the beginnings of hockey on frozen ponds, bundled up in sweaters and toques, hockey sticks, ice skates and of course, the puck! So with hopeful heart, I enter my suggestion in your fabulous contest for this cute tin!!

  114. I think Patriotic or Americana is the way to go! Lots of cute red, white and blue, maybe some yellow and gray. All muted color of course to look old and primitive. Love your designs. Keep up the good work!

  115. Dots and stripes are always wonderful and the colour I am always looking for is cheddar – and purple, of course.

  116. HELLO, I always am looking for creams fabrics with various black script or dots. Thanks for sharing a sweet giveaway!

  117. First…..I LOVE all your gatherings. You have an amazingly creative mind. What I love most about your gatherings is that the prints are small. So my suggestions is………drum roll, please……In The Country Gatherings. Little glass milk bottles, cows, clothespins, mason jars, strawberries, swings…….like that:) Thanks for asking my opinion:)

  118. Love all your little prints! Maybe something in the browns, pink, blue group would be nice. Love the traditional patterns and colors.

  119. New fabric line – how about Fireside Gatherings or Hearthside Gatherings! Woodland Gatherings, Lollipop Gatherings for a kids line! Whatever you do, it’ll be great!

  120. You are such an inspiration!!!
One day I’ll visit your stores!
Halloween oranges, blacks, greens and of course, purple would be my choice.

  121. Lisa — please, please please, a line that features green! Maybe… Forest Gatherings or Fern Gatherings ??

  122. I just scrolled through the comments and there are some great suggestions….Fireside Gatherings, Harvest Gatherings, Vintage Gatherings…. love those ideas! Personally I would like to see purples and grays. I haven’t given in to the urge to buy a Frivols tin yet, but Songbird Gatherings is really tugging at me!

  141. As I wad scrolling thru reading the comments the one suggestion that seems to make the most sense is one concerning family, family gatherings, we all know your family is number one in your book, so would it be a children’s line, a homey flannel line done in denim and grays with a splash of red and purple for color or would it be the beautiful lakeside blues with yellows and gray? I actually have been drooling over your frivol, as always thanks for being so generous and sharing your yourself with your “fans”

  143. Lisa, first I must say I love the picture of you and Dru having a PJ party!!! As for me I think I would go a summertime gatherings… something with some plums, some smokey purples, cheddars, dark yellows, greens, etc with line drawings of some sunflowers and maybe a couple line drawings of some fish (nod to Nick’s enjoyment of fishing) as the print on some of the colors 🙂 but honestly what ever it is you design I’m sure to LOVE it (as I always do)!

  144. Your color style may not follow this, but yellow, teal, and grey! Also, welcome to my home state of MI! Where are you going to be? I’m in western MI near Grand Rapids, but I know it isn’t me you are visiting. I will be in Illinois for a large quilt show there.

  146. Songbird Gatherings is just dreamy! Great job AGAIN! You certainly do NOT need input from me but Americana and Vintage Halloween would be fun to see and use. Happy Spring!

  147. Another wonderful fabric collection from you. Maybe mini pine trees and leaves in greens, plums and pumpkins. Or since summer is my favorite season, something “beachy” in your primitive style. Mini sail boats and fishes and sand pails. Thank you for sharing!

  148. Have missed all the wonderful plaids from Moda….how about some wovens!! Would love a collection with black, red and cream prints and plaids!! Another Americana collection with plaids and prints too!! Thanks for all of your wonderful quilting inspiration!!

Thank you so much for the opportunity!

  155. Hi Lisa, I would love to see you design a line of fabrics for Halloween. Different shades of purple and orange and of coarse, black.

  156. Hi Lisa, I want you to know that I already use so many of your fabrics for QOV quilts. I love the small designs, and the colors. I’d like to see a red, white (cream) and blue without florals for my future QOV quilts. Keep up the great work!! Thanks so much for the opportunity!!

  157. I think your next project(s) should be a baby quilt–I have 8 grandbabies now, age 5 years and under. I’ve made a quilt for each of their births so I’ve been very busy! Would love to see what your ideas might be. LOVE all of your patterns, fabric, design ideas, & attitude about life! Thanks!

  160. Autumn Gatherings. A range of autumn colors. Butterscotch to cheddar, pine and olive, browns and blacks. Your subdued style is so beautiful. I’m STILL collecting fabric for that gorgeous quilt you made with blacks, creams and butterscotch a few years ago. That quilt makes my heart sing. ❤

  166. These little tins are so much fun. I love the new Songbird line. Quotes on selvage edges – who knew??? Love that idea. I love everything you do so I don’t have any specific suggestions for a fabric line.

  167. More frivols? There’s something just fun about frivols, so I would love to see another tiN with your name on it.

  168. I would love to see your ideas on Christmas Fabric which I’m sure you already have in the works. Winning the tin would be wonderful as I love your style.

  169. I would love to see something little boy themed that is not too cutesie; but coming from you, I don’t think it would be. Love the songbird quote.

  170. Lisa, First let me say that I love Songbird gatherings! Hey, I love ANY PG collection… and I have the stash to prove it!! One of my all time favorite prints of yours is the sheep from your Old Glory Gatherings collection. I’d love to see some more farm type animals in a collection, along with some simple coordinating fabrics. Maybe chickens, ducks, more sheep, barns… maybe a farmhouse kind of collection…including crocks!! Oh how I love crocks and bowls. 😉 Anyway, whatever you come up with will be amazing, I’m sure.
Thanks for the chance to win this lovely tin! ~Heather

  171. Hi Lisa, Thanks for another chance to share our thoughts with you. The first thing I thought of was “Forest Gatherings.” Little forest dwellers, leaves, etc. might be fun. The other thought I had was “Sun, Moon & Stars
Gatherings.” Well, gotta get back to sewing!! Thanks again, Annie

  172. I would love a red, blue, and cream combo — Freedom Gatherings. I’ve never made a small quilt, but I think this Frivoli would be a good first.

  173. I just had to reply again. How about Hometown Gatherings. Patriotic Gatherings. Ok I’ll stop.

  174. This is so awesome! I know if I win I will have to have ALL of them. You just can’t stop at one. That means more shopping!

  183. I loved working on the SBOW from 2014 because it combined wool applique with a decent amount of piecing each week. I could use some practice on my small piecing (like the Frivol). I’ve realized it doesn’t have to look perfect to enjpy the end result!

  184. Hi Lisa – I so enjoy your fabrics and living in Wisconsin, I am lucky enough to visit Neenah fairly regularly 🙂 I am going to suggest something with pinks and greys in your signature style – not too bright – just right!

  190. I would love to see some reds, pinks, and creams. A sweet, romantic Valentine’s Day palette 🙂

  191. I would love to see a line of brights that have coordinating wools to go with. When I was at the retreat house last month, I stopped in the store and a staff person and I couldn’t find light or medium blues in plaid. The gave me the idea that you should do a a line of wool brights in textured prints. So bright cottons and bright wools.
