This week’s block is from Brigitte from Zen Chic…I spent some time with Brigitte and her “new man” at Quilt Market this Spring…our booths were next to each other…she is a lot of fun and I’m glad I got to know…Did you know she has created all the pattern pages /graphics you are getting each week!!! I just loved this quilt of hers in her booth…
So when you go to her blog to get this week’s block pattern make sure you take a look around to see what else she has…and maybe you need to make this quilt for a Grand or someone you love…
Here is my version of Brigitte’s block…
then here is the gang…hanging out…
Here is the pattern link...Block 4
It’s been cr–azy here…lots to do and going on…you should be recieving your kits for Block Heads and if you ordered just recently they are working on the last of them and they will be sent out this week yet…so thank you for being patient and we are all lucky because the blocks are really easy to catch up on!!!
I had my Sit & Sew girls out at the house yesterday…here are some pics…ENJOY!!!
NOTE: The underlined names are hot links to the information about the project. Just click them and it will send them to our site to order…if there is no link I do not know or there is not a pattern.

Love the featured quilt! Red and white always wins.
Beautiful as always, Lisa. Thank you for sharing. Have a fun Independence Day celebration with your family. 💞
The quilt that Kathy made from a freebie is by Elizabeth Hartman. It is listed under projects on her website.
What is the fabric collection you’re using for the background in the Moon
Garden blocks?
Love everything you do!!!
Chris
Neat quilts, and check out her kitchen!! You could do a quilt cupboard like hers!!!

The bear pattern is Bjorn Bear by Elizabeth Hartmann, available at quilt shops or as part of her Craftsy class. The “free” part is the quilting tutorial by Angela Walters on Youtube. Search “Angela Walters Bjorn Bear” and she will show you how to quilt these bears on the long arm. Primitive Gatherings carries several of Elizabeth Hartmann’s patterns – they are all cute, perfect for kids and very fun to make!
Kathy
Love all your quilts and the quilt cabinet. Thx for sharing all the awesome photos. Great projects.
I like seeing the Moda blockheads, but I wish I could get added to Twiglight Garden list so I can start cutting my flannel background blocks. Jessica needs to add me to the closed group. Im still waiting.Caren

I am unsure as to who this is. But if this is Caren R. You were added to the group this morning. thank you jessica
Not sure what “block heads” is all about but just love all the projects in their “show and tells”. Nice group of talented ladies and they really get a badge for attending or is it earned like in Girl Scouts? What a cool idea. Might be an idea for our quild. Where do you buy the badges?
It’s always fun to stitch in a group……and it looks like you all had a great time:) I LOVE all your red/white/blue quilts and decorations!!! I’ll be adding to my ever-present display today:) Little man is growing so fast….he’s adorable. Happy 4th to you and your family and thanks for sharing and inspiring:)
I have been collecting the blocks heads patterns and I’m wondering if you could help me with fabric amounts. Lisa I like your version of the blocks so if I wanted to go with a theme, how much yardage would I need approximately to put these blocks together? Do you think 2 yds of two lights, two mediums, and two darks would get these blocks made?
That should be enough. If you look on the Moda Blockheads Facebook page they have in their Files, different combinations that you can use for the fabrics. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you jessica
Thanks Lisa! I know these ladies had so much fun at your home. Wish I could come…. Enjoyed the pictures. Have a great summer. Edie
Please send the instructions for making Block 4. Thank you.

Just stumbled across this on Pinterest and wow how awesome are you ladies. Thanks for sharing, everything was lovely and I’m so inspired to go create😊. How do I find out how to do the night blocks?
I would love to have the pattern for the red and white quilt on the bed! I am desperate for this pattern.
It is shown in your house on the bed!
