It’s Moda Blog Hop time!!!  Everybody loves it! Have you been collecting 18″ blocks?…if not go to the links below to get them!

Our block is from our Spring Market lines of fabric…Our fabric line was called Urban Farmhouse Gatherings….I will be blogging lots about it soon…it’s should be arriving in store mid October…I really don’t think it its any fun talking about fabric you can’t have yet…but it’s coming soon!

Our market booth was just stunning!!! Grey really does not photograph well but in person it’s another story…IMG_2828

I broke apart a mini charm for you to see all the prints…IMG_6197 2IMG_6198

They are so detailed!!!!

If you need to have some of this yardage… or just to let you know…. the pre-cuts and books are on a pre-sale!!!! Hurry as soon as they come in the sale ends…                         Click HERE to see all things Urban Farmhouse Gatherings.

Ok…wait…I’m supposed to show you my block….IMG_6194

These blocks are huge!  18″ Do you know what that means?  You need lots of fabric!!!!

Here is the link for the free download block pattern

…then here is a peek of a quilt made using just 2 of the blocks!  I think it was made with the new grunge?IMG_8859 2

But I couldn’t just leave my block, just a block…I need to make something out of it….hmmmm…. I just got an idea…I have been in misery…because…I want to make something out of this fabric….(Figgy…I couldn’t help myself…I am smitten over this stuff!!! )but too many market deadlines and no time to play.IMG_6199
This line is from Fig Tree…Joanna’s Halloween fabric!!! So don’t be mad…but I used just a little with my block…and made a pillow…I love all the orange prints…I’m not a big print type of girl…but….IMG_6204

Look, If I turn it around….look how nice it looks on the couch!  You don’t even see the doggie drool spots that are on the couch….I will be making more Figgy fabric pillows for the couch, but don’t you agree those Figgy fabrics and my fabrics play real nice together…IMG_6203
Hang around (or sign up now to follow this blog) later this week look for more details about all the quilts we made and the books…yes, books…there are two!!!

I’m in love with your new Urban Farmhouse fabric and can’t wait to buy a couple kits!!! Also, I was in the shop last week and was drawn to the Halloween Fig Tree fabric as well! You have a sample pumpkin quilt made up using this line. I had to have it 😍

Thanks for this block. I really like it with that orange fabric, and I don’t like orange!
