  1. I am pretty sure I have at least four of your books. I think the first was Primitive… Summer. It had a Mason jar of daisies in it and I got it before I knew anything at all about wool. And of course the last book – Wool Needle and Thread. Read it cover to cover when it arrived

    1. Do you really want me to go count them all? Let’s just say I have several. Patterns also.
Love, love your books. And this one that you will be featured in looks like a winner.
Can’t wait to see it. Keep on doing what you do Lisa, we are so thankful for the books, to give us inspiration and beautiful quilts for us to make. .

  2. Hi Lisa
I do have 4 books of yours and confirmed 1 magazine on which you are on the cover. Plus some odd ones in which you have articles. At the time of publication of those magazines I did not hear much of you. I might have bought several primitive magazines or better homes magazines with certain contributors in mind including you. If I am not wrong Fons and Porter too i think not sure though.when reading old magazines for fun its a huge surprise to find you have contributed and stood out for your designs alone.
    Thanks for this giveaway.
    wilma

  3. I believe I own two of your books (I’m on vacation right now so can’t go double-check) and I bought one of your books and gave it to a friend. Looking forward to that latest fabric line!

  4. I bought one of your books and a magazine with one of your patterns included.
Would love to have more especially your farmhouse patterns.

  5. Looking forward to the book release. Your quilts are always beautiful and this one is extraordinary. Although I admit to having a few layer cakes in my stash, I would love to have your new line ahead of time. Thank you for all you do.

  6. I would love to win this book! I also love your Indigo Gatherings line – can’t wait to get some for my stash:)

    1. I have 4 books of yours and I really love your latest plus a couple you contributed to. I love them all but use the Valdani inventory frequently. 7. I have one of your books books, but I have your patterns, BOM and have made many of your kits, I Love the quilt on the bed

  8. I’m not sure how many of your books I have, maybe 3, I like books also. In our moves I’ve given away some to friends and others I donate to the local library. There is just something comforting about seeing books all lined up on a book shelve.

  9. I have 2 of your books, but lots of your patterns, fabrics and products. Love it all!! Thanks for the chance on the giveaway.

  10. I don’t have any books that are exclusively yours but I have several that you’ve contributed to. But I’ve made several quilts from your quiltalongs on line.

I copy those instructions you give on words, how tos & patterns & they go in a Lisa Bongean binder. So my own book. Thanks for the great prizes you are giving away.

  15. I have two books and oh soooo many patterns that I have done. Also participated in your Primitive Triangle online pattern and finished all of them. I made 3 quilts out of the triangles and the last 25 set I am about ready to make the last quilt. LOVE your patterns and all of your work.

  20. Well it is rather embarrassing but I don’t think I have any! I am just getting into several hobbies. This empty nest needs some activity. I have collected antique quilts and my grandmother was a quilter. I just recently had her treadle sewing machine totally refurbished and ready to sew, “play?” with. I would like to interest my granddaughter in it so maybe this is where I start?

  21. Lisa, I believe I own every book you wrote! Not all you have contributed a quilt in though….. my quilt book library is two full bookcases and more….

    1. I have several of your books, and also several of the Moda books you have contributed to. This new one looks like a must-have, too!

  25. While I only have one of your books, I love it dearly. It stays at the top of the pile by my chair because I have made one of the quilts and have plans for several of the others which will take me years to collect fabric and make. I also have a friend who is a book hound and has been “turned on” to Lisa B’s books. She has several of your books which I have access to for inspiration or use if needed. When she gets a new one, we love to sit and drool over the pages. I know that I would be as over the moon excited if I had the chance to to show off and play with the cake mix fabric and papers.

  26. I am not sure how many of your books I own. I can think of 4 off the top of my head. I am not normally a blue person, but I love the Indigo Gathering and will be buying for sure. Love it’s richness. I want to pick out a quilt to use these blues in. I have a couple of ideas. However will be at your Christmas open house in Menasha on the 21st. Can’t wait.

  56. Good morning Lisa. I believe I don’t own any of your books I’m ashamed to say. I do have a few of your patterns. Your work and designs are exquisite. Rest up and recharge, this will all still be here.
    Thank you.

    1. Thank you for the giveaway. I do not own any of your books, but have kept magazines in which you are featured. I have collected a number of the Wool & Needle Flannels with the idea of learning how to applique. Hopefully one day it’ll all come together.

  66. I don’t have any of your books. I do have many of your fabrics and a couple of patterns though! Wool, Needle and Thread is on my Christmas wish list, it looks awesome. Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

  67. I love your designs and have made several of your designs, however I don’t have a single book yet. Have mentioned on my wishlists so maybe soon?

  68. I think I have almost all of your books. I just picked up Wool, Needle and Thread, I haven’t started reading it yet but will soon. Maybe I will take it to my deer stand for some quality reading time. Thanks for the giveaway, I love the new indigo line.

  69. Lisa, I think I own just about everything you’ve ever written! My absolute favorite is the wool stitchery tutorial. I now have the confidence to finally begin your last two SBOW’s and the Moon Garden BOM stored in my studio waiting for this book to be released!

I have most of your books. Think I might be missing 2 of your earliest ones. (Before I found out about you)! Will be on lookout for this new one…books make me dream about what ifs…

  76. I don’t have one of your books, but I admire your beautiful quilts. Actually, I don’t have many quilting books at all. Your quilt is gorgeous!

  77. I have several of your books and enjoy looking at them over & over. I love your work! Thanks to you for giving us a change to win these delicious gifts.

  78. Hmmmm, at work right now, but I think I own two of your books. (Probably flannels!) Blue is my fave, so very excited for your new line!

  79. I have 3 of your books for sure; (well,,,, 4 if you count 2 copies of one of the Christmas books!), and many, many patterns. This one looks like a really good one to add to the collection!

  80. Honestly I can’t be sure, because like you, I’m a book junkie! Off the top of my head I’m certain of at least 4 of your books, and one more that you’ve been a contributor to. Can I just say how excited I am for the Indigo gathering line?! Can’t wait!

  81. I have your Christmas Gatherings book which I love for many reasons. The wool patterns make great wall hangings and ornaments. The book is spiral-bound and lays flat – fabulous! I also have your journal which inspires me as I make notes, lists and jot down ideas. I hope to win one of the books in which you are a contributor. Keep those books coming!

  82. I am in the process of making your “Among Friends” pattern which I have loved for years but was too afraid to tackle it until I saw the finished product at a quilt retreat that I attended in Shipshewana, Indiana. I fell in love!!!! I also just purchased your new book, Wool, Needle and Thread because I really want to get into doing wool applique! I have dabbled in it but need some more direction. I have always loved your fabric lines and have lots in my stash but there is always room for more!!!

  83. Do I really have to publicly confess my Lisa addiction? My collection of Primitive Gatherings books is not nearly as hefty as my pattern collection. I love books and yours are so beautify written and illustrated.

  84. Sorry to say I don’t have any of your books yet….but made a beautiful quilt out of some of your fabric!!
Thanks for the chance to win an amazing prize!

  85. I know I have a number of your book, but I am not sure how many. I can’t look right now, but I have made several of your patterns and have used your fabrics many times. I have a couple of books on my list to buy! I enjoy all….

  86. I don’t own many books so I don’t have one of your books…yet! But I have bought a few of your kits. Everything you make is beautiful! I wish I could sew faster and make them all!

  87. The one book that I know I have of yours is the thread collection book with helpful tips and tidbits. It is my go to to keep me up to date on the Valdani threads that I have and/or need. It has been such a helpful book also for creating stitches that I may have forgotten how to make. Thank you for keeping me ‘somewhat’ organized!

  88. Sadly, I must admit I don’t have any of your books. But, I LOVE this new fabric line of yours and would love to have this book be my first! I, also, LOVE and have used Cake Mixes!

  89. I am thinking at least 8. Two of which are out of print. As for patterns I have oodles and oodles. I will never live long enough to do something from all books I have.

  90. Lisa, I own 4 of your books including your most recent (Primitive Christmas, Summer Gatherings, Autumn Gatherings and Wool, Needle & Thread). Would like to own a few more. Also I own several collaborative books where you have a project (That Patchwork Place/Moda). Plus as a reader of your blog, I have many items you have given away freely and tons of inspiration from your posts (excellent pictures). And I have quite a bit of your fabric in my stash. Thanks so much!

  91. At this point I have none of your books, but you can bet they’re on my gift list for this year! The new line of greys, as well as your traditional blues and tiny prints are wonderful! Thanks!

  92. I have at least five of your books. I love the new wool book (already finished the posey pincushion!) and the one that taught me how to starch the fabric to make mini piecing easier!! Have a terrific day!

  93. I own you 9 Patch gatherings book. I really enjoy your blog and appreciate your contributions to the quilting community! Thx

  94. I truly don’t know how many of your books I have. I know I have several and continue to want more. I love your books, patterns and fabrics in cotton and wool. Love, love, love your designs.

  95. I have 8 books and endless patterns. I love mixing quilt fabrics with wool and that’s where my addiction to everything Primitive Gatherings started. Glad to hear you are resting after Houston. Happy Thanksgiving.

  96. I don’t own any but this looks like a great place to start. I am addicted to scouring Instagram and blogs for quilt designs and my good friend has just offered to help me along on my first try quilting. Perhaps it will be one from this book….

  97. I do not own any of your books, but I have quite a few patterns! I recently pieced and assembled your Layers of Fun Quilt Kit, can’t wait to quilt and finish it up, so pretty!

  98. I am yet to own one of your books, but I have loved your fabrics and purchased them at shows. I would love to have my first book and look forward to the drawing with fingers crossed.

  99. I have 2 of your books–I used to travel near your Wisconsin shop and loved stopping in–lots of inspiration and lots of purchases 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win–the book is filled with great ideas and I love your design.

  100. Well Lisa-I don’t have any! Just recently started following you-love what you do! A couple of years ago, I made the decision that I didn’t need to buy any more quilt books-my quilting bookcase is full and there’s no way I can ever make all these or even a fraction of the quilts-but it’s so hard! However, winning a book is a different story! 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win this giveaway!

  101. I wish I had one of your books but sadly I don’t….and I so love the quilt you did for this book. I love the blues-my whole master bedroom is blues and whites. I’ve always wanted to do a pattern called ocean waves too, and yours is a great version of it. I hope I get lucky this time!!!! Thanks for sharing with us!!

  102. I don’t think I own any of your books, but I have several of your patterns. I would love to win this one!

  103. I don’t currently own one of your books. Living in Canada and shipping to Canada has just proven too expensive for me. I love the ocean waves quilt that you have in the book because it’s in my favorite color…blue. Thanks so much for offering this!

  104. I have 4 of your books…5 if I win one of these! I also have several of your patterns. I love your creativity, my only wish is that you had a shop on Montana!

  105. Hi Lisa! I don’t think I have any of your books! Yet. But I do have (and made!) one of your patterns! I don’t recall the name but it was made of flannel layer cake squares with small corner triangles that look like butterflies. Anyway I made it in a small lap size for my momma in law for Christmas last year. She loved it!! I really enjoy your newsletter… you are so warm and personable and fun!! Blessings to you and your crew!! Mama Pris in Coeur d’Alene ❤️

  106. I have 4 of your books. The highlight of my Houston trip was getting an autographed copy of your new book and taking a class from you.

  107. I have 5 of your books and several of your patterns. I do not have any of the books that you contributed to. Thanks for the chance to win a new book.

  108. I have at least 2 of your books, maybe more. Sorry I’m on vacay and say from my overflowing bookshelves. Thank for the chance!

  109. I don’t own any if your books but look forward to getting one soon. I’m a new quilter and building my stash and library.

  110. Oh my: Farmhouse Gatherings, Star and Stripe Gatherings, Christmas Gatherings, Magic of Christmas, Nine-Patch Gatherings, Triangle Gatherings, even A Quilter’s Journal and your little Thread Diary. The amazing Wool, Needle & Thread. Urban Farmhouse Gatherings and the companion book pre-ordered. Have, I think, every Moda book you’ve contributed to and more PG patterns that I can count. So, a lot. Current project is What’s the Commotion from On a Roll. Still desperately seeking a copy of Little Gatherings. Home rapidly becoming a PG-East showroom 😁

  111. I have one of your books. Would love to have this one. I have not used the Cake Mixes but I’ve been looking at them so this would be wonderful to win.

  112. I do believe I have every one of your wonderful books plus all the Moda ones you are in. Too many to list. I even already have the Mix It Up book but if I win this prize I can always gift it to a Quilty friend.

  113. Lisa, Love your designs. At this time I don’t own any of your books but am just about finished with the Urban BOW. Loving it!!

  114. I don’t currently have any of your books, I would dearly love to. The giveaway looks like it would be great to win.

  115. I think I have all. I have ones that have been out of print for years. I tend to buy the book and fat quarter stack now as they come out. I have the new wool book . I would say I have the farmhouse, but I have to say I bought it instead. I have managed to misplace a large stack of flannels along with the book. I had it sitting on a chair while totally cleaning out my sewing closet. After putting everything away, I couldn’t find the book and fabric. It is too big to accidentally throw out. I had put them in a bag and I fear the bag is at the bottom of a large stack of fabric and kits. I am excited about the new line. I am waiting for you to tell me when I can preorder the fat quarter stack.

  116. I have 6 of your books and I am hoping to add to my collection. I love what you do and want to thank you all for a chance to win.

  117. Unfortunately I don’t have any of your books at home, it’s so difficult to get them in Germany. I would be really happy to get a chance and to win a copy of “Mix it up”.

  118. I currently do not own any of your books….I went on a book buying moratorium for awhile, giving away most of what I had. Taste and styles have changed since I originally started collecting, and now I’m ready to start over. Hope it will be with one of yours!

  119. Not sure how many, but I have a lot of them. I am loving the newest one – Wool, Needle and Thread. My friends and I got together to go through that one page by page!! So much information and so many pictures! Love it!

  126. Hi Lisa! I think I have three of your books. My favorite is your most recent book. It’s like a tutorial on how to do wool projects. It’s amazing and will come in handy as I work on all of my wool projects. Thank you for all you do! We all love you!

  127. I love your books. The patterns are great and the wool book my fav has so much helpful info. I think I have 4 or 5 books and 2 small notebook book type. I lose count , I buy them because their yours. Thanks

  128. Oh boy, I’m one that’s not really embarrassed to say how many of your books and shared books I have, but I think it would be safe to say I haven’t missed many. I love your style and your unique way. I met you in Houston many years ago and then again at Quiltstock this past August, I’ve always come away with more ideas than time but tools and learning to get me there. Thanks so much for all you share with the rest of us.

  129. To comment on this post I had to pull out my book list….yes, i have them typed alphabetically by title – there are 359 of them!! I, too love books. I have 9 Primitive Gathering books – all signed except the newest one, as we missed it at Festival:) My two favorite are Little Gatherings and Star & Stripe Gatherings. I also saved the APQ Magazine with you on the cover:) And somewhere in my pattern binders I have the copy of the article from the Shop Hop magazine the first time they visited you in Menasha. Good thing you know me or this makes me look like a stalker!!! (LOL)
Looking forward to the sales on the 21st. Keep writing and designing, please:)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  130. Thank you so much for this opportunity! I have one of your books, another you have contributed to, and one pattern. That’s what I have, not a reflection of wants. 😉

  131. Lisa – I love all of your books. Your style reflects my style so that is why I love your patterns. I think flannel gatherings and Summer Gatherings are my favorites. So in all I probably have at least 8 – 10, if I include the Moda books. Keep on creating – Love it!
    Lori

I have not yet used a cake mix, but they sure do look efficient, fun and accurate….need to put that on my bucket list. Thanks for the opportunity Lisa!

  157. Sewing books are my favorite BATHTUB READS! I love to soak and dream of projects! I think I have all of urs, Lisa except two newest!

  165. Lisa I have one of your books, just starting to quilt and your book was so helpful and full of inspiration. I am looking forward to doing more piecing and quilting in all different kinds of styles, but I do like the primitive gatherings fabrics, so will be mostly sticking with them for a while. thanks for sharing your creative talent with so many.

  166. I’d have to go count. But don’t even ask how many 2 inch squares (whatever they are called), charm packs, layer cakes, fat quarters, yardage, embroidery “stuff ” from PG I have lined up to turn into something beautiful.

  167. I have 3 of your books and absolutely love them. Your new quilt is gorgeous, and might be a retirement project. Thanks for all you do

Currently, I am quilting Mr. Snowman- LOVE that giant man😉! Your quilt is beautiful & the tiny pops of gold are eye-catching.
What a fun give-away for some lucky winner.

  170. Hi – unfortunately I do not own any of your books – I only found your blog about 8 weeks ago but am loving it and always look forward to the new posts.

  171. Well, I think I have all of your books, even the older ones. Just not this one I even have several of your single patterns and Block of the Month patterns. I like them all. I am definitely with you. I love books.

  172. I don’t have any of your books right now. But I’m hoping I get this one. Thanks to you and Father Moda for the opportunity.

  173. I have several of your books! Need more, I too love books. You can never have too many! Thanks for the chance.

  176. Lisa, I don’t own any of your books yet, but have used lots of your fabrics. Nice prize. Thank you for the chance!

  177. I love this book & all the projects. I need to ad this one to my small collection. I sadly don’t have any of your books. Thank you for the great giveaway.

  180. What a lovely givaway! I own three of your books, and have no idea how many articles / patterns I’ve admired in other publicatons. Love your Liberty fabrics and am dying to try your gray flannels, and Oh! Those indigoes!

  181. I have several of your patterns, plus one of your Summer Block of the week, and 4 of the Moda All Stars books with your patterns in them. I have your wool and needle book on my wish list for my up-comming birthday too! 🙂 Hope you recharge from Market soon! Hugs, H

  182. I am not sure how many of your books I have but love each one. Never can have too many quilt books unless you ask my husband.

  183. I don’t have any of your books yet but I plan to get the farmhouse gatherings book for Christmas!! Love your designs!

  184. 3 books with you as a contributor and the American Patchwork and Quilting magazine with you on the cover. My newest book is Wool, Needle and Thread. It’s a gorgeous book full of inspiration.

Thanks for the chance in the giveaway.

  185. I own 1 of your books – Little Gatherings. I truly want to make almost every quilt in it. I love (LOVE) piecing w/ small pieces, so much better than with large ones. Give me a 3″ block over an 18″ block any day.

  186. I was so surprised to see how large your HST’s were! I love your boks and patterns and fabrics! I am so excited for the new fabric line – LOVE indigoes!

  187. Lisa, I don’t know how many books of yours that I own but I sure like your style and your fabrics! I’d like to win this book.

  188. I know I have at least three of your books and I’m not certain how many I have that you have contributed to. The Magic of Christmas is my focus right now, doing a block here and there between my other sewing. As a retired librarian ( now media specialist) there is no such thing as too many books. My husband says if I spent more time stitching than pouring over quilting books and magazines I’d get more done!

  189. Not enough, two I think. Mostly I have patterns and fabric. I’ll never live long enough to make them all and use up the fabrics. But I’m happy to keep collecting.

  190. I don’t think I have any of your books but I do have a lot of your individual patterns – for wool projects as well as quilts.

Thanks for the giveaway – am looking forward to the Indigo Gatherings line of fabric.

  191. Hi Lisa! I’ve recently discovered your shop in Temecula and am anxiously awaiting my quilt to be quilted by your son! I have one book. Your newest one on Wool Appliqué. Thank you for all the inspiration!

I love your style and trends and you continuously amaze me with your creativity. Thanks fo rthe chance and thank Father Moda too! Your quilt is divine btw!

  194. I only have 1 of your books, but have ordered this one and have pre-ordered the FQ bundle of Indigo Gatherings,

  199. I don’t have any of your books yet, but after reading your blog, I see some in my future. I really like your style!

  200. I just bought your newest book “Wool, Needle and Thread” and I have most of MODA’s AllStar books. I mostly have Primitive Gatherings patterns.

  201. I own two of your books and one where you are a contributor. I love books-even if I don’t make anything in them they bring me countless hours of pleasure. Thanks for chance to win another book.

  202. I have 6 books that I know of, some patterns and have completed many wool kits. You have so many ideas and so many projects that it’s hard to decide which one to do next. I love the look of the blue and white quilts you’ve shared recently. I’m thinking that may be my project this winter when the snow falls…it might not be a large quilt but a new table runner or wall hanging would be a great project.

  203. My sewing & stitching library is a little out of sorts as I`m sorry to say I don`t have any! I so enjoy your blog. It would be so much fun to win.

  204. I don’t yet have any of your books. I am planning to buy your new book “Wool, Needle, and Thread”. I have worked a little with wool and really enjoy it. I want a book that I can use for great basic instruction and think your book is the one. I also want to try a layer cake as have never done one yet. I enjoy your emails.

  205. I have at least 10 of your books! I love the look of the blue and white quilts and all those tiny triangles! I am currently working on some wool ornies from your latest Christmas book!

    Fingers crossed!

    usairdoll (at) gmail (dot) com

  213. Star Stripe and Gatherings is the book I own so far. The fabric giveaway will be a perfect addition to create “Constitution”. Thank you for creating beautiful quilts !

  214. I can think of three that come to mind, but I think there are more. (I must have almost a hundred quilting books. They seem to appear as quickly as the dust bunnies!)

  215. I have 4 of your books so far – and love every one of them. Just got Wool Needle and thread delivered to the UK, if I’d have planned better I would have bought it while I was in Houston from your stand, and asked you to sign it for me. About to start my Magic of Christmas quilt after buying the perfect reds from you too.

  216. Absolutely love your work!! I don’t have any of your books yet as I have just began purchasing a few quilting books. I love flipping through them for inspiration. Two recent books were on wool applique since I thought it would be nice to give it a try for seasonal pillows.
I have been reading about the cake and cupcake mixes and I’m just about ready to take the plunge into trying them. Your Urban Farmhouse collection is beautiful in so many patterns. I recently did a quilt in grays and white, but I had collected my fabrics before your collection was revealed. I immediately loved yours! It seems one can’t have too many grays because the color way goes so well with everything. I love how your fabrics speak for themselves….not overwhelming, soft and subtle and pleasing to you eye.
Thanks for all your inspiration in your blog. Not sure how you manage to do all the work you do…

  217. I think I have 6 or 7 of your books or those you have collaborated on. Yes, I’m a fan! You challenge me and scare me sometimes! But I love the things you create. I can usually hone my skill to your level but the creativity you have is a wonder to me!

  218. I have 3 books a 1 magazine with you on the cover. Not a lot but love each and every one and so full of inspiration. They are just a joy to look at even if I already have ongoing projects!

  219. So far I don’t own any. I’m hoping that will soon change. I do quilt along with the patterns you have posted on your blog. I must say, your quilt in the book is gorgeous.

  220. I have the Red and White book that you are I . I love your quilt for the Mix It Up book. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

  222. I think I have 2 or 3 books, but can’t confirm since I’m not at home at the moment. I have visited your shop in Wisconsin multiple times when I was in the area. As I will be building a new house, it would be fabulous to make some quilts to enjoy there!

I love your triangle papers! And your work is amazing – thank you for your gifts to the community of quilting and beyond!
    Nancy Daly

  237. I am sooo disappointed. I do not get your emails when they come out. I just received this one this morning, November 11. Do you know if there is anything I can do to change that? I do have PG as ‘see first’.

    Andrea Parks

  238. I have made MANYl of your wool patterns/kits and have more kits to make. Last one I made was Winter Windows pillow, can’t wait to see it on a chair this winter. Love your fabrics and have quite a bit. Off the top of my head, 1 book? I would love to try the cake mixes as this is on my bucket list.
