Just a reminder about our shop hours through the rest of the year.
Day 3- Needful Things-Custom Quilt Hangers
Scott has been busy designing new quilt Hangers…We have had a single arm for a while now…I loved mine..but…wait…now I can have 3 or 5 quilts hanging at the same time!Shown here black or white…notice they are distressed on purpose. Paint is rubbed off…and such…
Then here it is… all dressed up in red & white for Christmas!
This is our family room…now all the quilt are stored here instead of folded on the couch…tidy’s up space quickly! Most of these quilts are flannel…and heavy so they are nice and strong as well.
These hangers are hand made by Scott so please allow some time for him to make your beautiful hanger…it will come next year. Something to look forward to in 2021! We are offering the hangers on sale for 10% off. They will not ever be on sale again, maybe next Christmas…as they are very laborious and not easy to ship…so this is your chance. You can order the single, triple, and the five-arm…black or white.
If you won a quilt hanger….where would you hang it?
What is the first quilt you would put on it?
Which one would you want?
After you leave me a comment telling me all this info make sure you check your list…do you have all those presents yet? Some of mine are not going to make it…oh well, I will put a picture of it in a card and say Merry Christmas… it is coming!!! It’s all good…we will just keep celebrating until they all come in! Why not… In 2020 all things are unpredictable.
I have been wishing for one of these since you started offering them. I have been waiting to gift myself one and also waiting till I make a trip to your store to purchase it. I always feel hesitant making a purchase for myself. I would love a 5 tier to hang in my bedroom. I would change the quilts hanging, based on the season.
Hmmmm…I’d hang my quilt hanger on the wall in the living room as that is the only wall big enough to hang it. I’d love to have the one with, but only have room for a 3-quilt hanger. The first quilt that would go on it is the quilt that was gifted to my by the Colorado Springs Quilt Guild in 1997 as out-going President. Thank you, Lisa, for all you do for us!!
TO win one that would be amazing. I would hang it in the hall way. I have 2 others single arm. And love them to death. I have quilts out all the time. If I won I would put blue white quilts out for the winter months.
I love the quilt hangers that Scott is making. I would use it to hang the signature quilts that I made my mom and dad. I made dad for his 75th birthday , it has 77 family members signatures on it. Gave it to him at a family reunion, with most of the family members there. I gave mom hers for her 80th birthday. She loved looking at the name and talking about different family members. She was covered with it as she passed away peacefully with her 5 living children taking care of her at home in Hospice care. I have had both quilts since they passed away, they put a sm8le on my face, as they remind me of my wonderful pa. I was blessed, we were blessed.
I’ve been watching for these. Love them. I’d put a 3 armed one in my den and a 5 armed one in my bedroom where I have more wall space. I have a large civil war repro quilt and then a log cabin and a pineapple quilt that I’d put on them. Have others that are waiting to be quilted that I would put on too.
I love these quilt hangers. DH got one for me a few years ago and it hangs in the bedroom above a quilt ladder. I change the quilts on it seasonal. We have very little wall space due to so many windows as we live on a lake. I would still find a spot for another single, triple or even the 5. I love bringing out my quilts each season as they are treasures for 20+ years I have been quilting. Next batch of quilts coming out are my blue and whit for winter and January.
If I won a hanger I would hang it in my family room. I would hang my summer block of the week quilts on it. I only have wall space for a triple hanger. They are beautiful pieces of art.
I would want the 3-arm hanger. I like the idea of showing off more than one at a time, but it seems like 5 might be a little distracting. Maybe. I would put it in the family room because that is where everybody would see it. The first quilt to go on it would be one that is currently under construction – made with 16 embroidery squares that my Mother made when she was 88/89 years old.
I have a place right next to my couch that I would put my quilt hanger. My first quilt would be a nice flannel I made last year and I would want black. Thank you for all you do Lisa.
I have a small house, but 2 spots where I can put the 5 arm. A blank wall in my living room where I always have 1 hanging. Or in my bedroom, likliest spot, between door & closet.
I have finally started making some quilts just for me and would love to display them on a wall. Right now I have only three completed. We have a small house so would probably display them in our bedroom. I have many handmade gifts made and ready for our children but didn’t quilte have time to finish a small nutcracker wall hanging for my grandson. I’ll have it ready for next year. We will all be together this year – so that is extra special. 🙂
I love these quilt hangers but I’m not sure where I would put it as my home is very small and limited on wall space. It looks beautiful in your home and I absolutely love the red and cream quilts you have on it. Thank you for your inspiration and generosity. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and many blessings in the coming new year!
I would love one in my living room to keep things less messy. Never thought of that, and another in my studio so when customers come in they can see my work, i have many hanging on the walls there already. Probably a 3 arm in both rooms
Oh, if I won a quilt hanger……. I would hope it would be white and I would hang the 5 quilts I inherited from my great grandmother. Hand pieced and hand quilted. They are my quilting treasures. 💕
Sandy
I love those quilt hangers! I would love a black one and would hang it in the living room area. I think I would hang the quilt my grandmother made me many years ago that got me interested in quilting.
I will hang the primitive garden quilt my grandmother and mother made together 10 years ago. I would hang it on the 5 arm black hanger with a selection of their other handmade quilts. It will be a tribute quilt rack…I lost both of them last year.
If I won a quilt hanger, I have the perfect wall for it! I would love to display my quilts and this would be the perfect way to do it, I have wished for this for a long time. The first quiIt I would hang on it would be the first quilt I ever made for myself. What a wonderful way to look at what you have completed, and a beautiful way to display for others to see. This would be near my entry door welcoming guests. Awesome way to beautifully display seasonal quilts.
I really like the quilt grouping that the three arm hanger gives! I would place in our family room and display more quilts other than the ones on the backs of the chairs and couches. The first quilt would be an antique quilt made by my grandmother and then another antique quilt made by my husband’s great aunt. The normally stay safely folded in the bedroom.
I love these. Just tried to order one. I was only charged for the shipping.
I will put the Block one I ordered in my dining room and put my Red, White, and Blue repros on it first. Then switch out with some antique quilts or holiday quilts.
Beautiful way to display quilts – love it! I just finished rehabbing a wall in my living room and either the 3 or 5 would look wonderful on that wall. One of the first quilts I ever made was one of your patterns and it would look great out of storage for everyone to see!
I would follow in your footsteps and put it in my family room. I always wonder if there is a better way to store the quilts rather than folded and draped here and there. Problem solved and so attractive!
I would hang it on the wall in my living room. The first quilt would be a quilt that I found in the quilting things I inherited when my aunt passed away. She had the top all piece, the background fabric and binding all ready but had not finished it. I discovered in a box of things, quilted and bound it. It rests on the back of a chair in my sewing room right now but I would love to display it better.
I plan on hanging the 3-arm black quilt rack in my bedroom. The first quilt to be placed on the rack would be Evelyn’s Album 2012 SBOW. I wish I could say 2018 SBOW, but still working on this quilt.
I would love to have one of these hangers in my bedroom. I hang quilts behind my bed and change out for seasons, so this would be a great way to store the quilts not uso g.
I just ordered the 3 quilt hanger! Merry Christmas gift to me…I have been so good. If I won one I would have 2! I want one for every room. The one I ordered will go in my living room, but my bedroom could use one…my family room…every bedroom!
I would so love to win one of these!! I would love the black 5 hanger. I would hang it by my favorite chair. The first quilt I would hang is the first quilt I ever made, a log cabin. And do I have enough to fill it up, NO, but the empty racks would be inspiration to make more!!
Thanks for the chance Lisa.
Those quilt hangers are incredible. If I had one I would hang it in the family area right next to my sewing nook and I would hang my very first quilt on it and my latest quilt as well as some of the ones in between to remind my of my evolution as a quilter.
I would probably put the quilt hanger in my bedroom and the first group to hang would be a cheddar quilt made by my great-grandmother; and a crocheted bedspread made by my grandmother and her mother-in-law. Treasures!
The quilt hangers are awesome!! The first quilt I would hang on it, would be one that my great grandmother made for my parents wedding – they were married in 1943 and celebrated 73 years of marriage right before my mom passed away. It would hang in the sewing room of a home we are about to build. I would love the 5 quilt hanger!! Have so many treasured quilts to display!
I have a few large walls that could handle a quilt hanger, one, three, five arms, they’d all find a place. We built 1,000 square feet onto our home for my mother, who no longer is here, so making that space integral to the rest of the house has been a difficulty chore. Cozy it up, hang some quilts! That would help!
Scott is doing an amazing job with these quilt hangers, quite the craftsman. I would love the 5 arm but only have wall space for a 3 arm. I would hang it in my guest room or my dining room. The first quilt would be Words to Live By.
If I win a quilt hangar I would put it in my family room and display my favorite quilts. I would like it to be a reflection of my passion for quilting ☺️
I love these hangers! I would put up one that holds three quilts in my three seasons room that we are remodeling right now. It would be perfect to hold our favorite flannel quilts for quick access when evenings out there get a little chilly, and provide great wall decor when we aren’t wrapped up in them!!! My favorite quilt to put on would be a flannel row by row that my small group made years ago. One of the gals in the group surprised me by secretly helping my (then) young daughters make her row for my quilt. This quilt has so many special memories!! Thank you Lisa for all you do for us! I have loved the questions you ask that really make me pause and reflect.
Wow, these hangers are lovely! I will need to put one on my birthday list for next year. I have a lot of wall space, so I would get at least two 5-arm ones, for the family room and dining room, then a 3-arm one for the master bedroom. I love the idea of storing quilts in plain sight!
Oh I’ve wanted two of the single hangers for a long time now. And then you come up w multiples! It just keeps getting better and better. Our Wisconsin cabin has a loft w big window above bed. I would put one on each side of the window like shutters to hang my quilts! I made Lisa’s quilt w anchor so that’s one side. And of course another blue n white on the other side. Any special requirements for multiple racks? That looks like a lot of weight on the wall. ??? Scotty’s work is so impressive!! You are lucky to have him!
I would love to win the white 3 quilt hanger. I would hang it in my family room so if and when someone needed to warm or just sit and be cozy they could just grab a quilt. I would pick a quilt for the season to hang on it.
Absolutely love, love, these hangers!! I’d choose a black 3 hanger one and have a perfect spot to hang it in the family room. What a great idea to hang them!!
If I won one of these beauties I’d choose the black 5 arm hanger for myself. I’d put it in my living room and display my grandmother’s wedding ring quilt, a bow tie thrifted quilt, my mother-in-law’s string quilt, the log cabin quilt I made for my son and rotate the last slot with the quilts I’ve pattern tested.
I would put it in the guest bedroom. The first quilt that I would put on it would be a red and white quilt that I need to put a binding on. I loved the red and white quilts on yours Lisa.
I would hang a quilt made by late Mother-in-Law, who was, without a doubt, the sweetest, kindess person I have ever met. She cut all the pieces with scissors and sewed everything by hand and hand-quilted, also. It’s lots of colors and very scrappy. Definitely, a family treasure.
I would love the 3 or 5 arm quilt hanger! I would put it in my living room and change quilts with the seasons. Red and white quilts are my favorite! But I also love fall colors almost as much. This quilt hanger is such a unique idea! Well done!
My quilt hanger would go in the family room so quilts would be visible all the time. The first quilt I would hang would be the quilt my grandmother gave me when I graduated from high school (she gave me another when I married and that would hang next.) So, I would need the five arm in dark wood! Only one more gift to finish, then time to wrap! Cannot wait to celebrate Christmas,
I would hang in my living room placing my beautiful great grandmothers quilts from the 1800’s on them , followed by my Dresden made from French General fabric. I don’t think it would matter what color because I love them both. This would get more quilts out of my closet and on display. So much time spent on them and so many hidden in closet.
I just keep looking at all 3 of these hangers. They are beautiful! I would love the 3 arm hanger. I would hang it in my living room. If I had it right now my 3 flannel snow men quilts would be hanging on it! They can stay out all winter.
Love the quilt hangers !!! What a great idea. I just redid my office/guest room – that’s where I’d put my first one and hang a flowery quilt on it . I love the idea on being able to change them out seasonally ! Just ordered one –
These are such a great idea! If I would win one of these creations, the first quilt would be an appliqué snowman quilt and a Packers-themed quilt. I am fortunate to have several options to place a hanger like this, but the living room is number one place.
Hmmm, love the 3 arm quilt hanger in both colors, difficult to pick a favorite color. I have the perfect place to hang it in our family room. It would be a perfect place to hang (store) the comfort quilts that my family loves to wrap around them while reading or watching TV. With the comfort quilts on display it will give me the push I need to replace them… they are really beginning to look a little tired, but loved. Love reading your blog and have many of your books and patterns. Happy holidays and a safe, healthy and happy New Year.
I love seeing your red & white quilts displayed on the quilt hanger, Lisa! If I could win one, I’d want white and a 3-arm hanger.
I’d hang it in my stairwell just above the first 2-3 stair steps. My staircase is off my entry hall so my prettiest quilts would be visible for all who enter. Plus my office/sewing room is upstairs so I’d enjoy the display every time I go up & down the stairs. This hanging space is also visible from my husband’s office and from my dining room table, so great visibility for maximum enjoyment!
If I had one of these quilt hangers hung up before Christmas, I’d use it for Christmas quilts. But since it wouldn’t arrive till in the new year, I’d hang my red & white quilts to prepare for Valentine’s Day!
Merry Christmas and thanks for such great Needful Things!
Love those hangers. I purchased the single arm when they first came out. If I won a hanger I think my first choice would be a white five arm. I would probably put it in our family room where it would be handy to curl up under a quilt and work on my Live a Thankful Life block of the month. The first quilt I would hang on it would be my wedding ring quilt. The quilt top was made by the aunt of an elderly friend of mine in the 1930s and didn’t get quilted until the 1980s. A group of senior women at our church got together every Tuesday and did hand quilting they invited me to check it out when I had said I would be interested in learning how to quilt. These women were all in their 70s and 80s when we quilted this quilt top as they taught me. Though they are no longer here I still can look at that quilt and remember the laughs and friendships that took place around that quilt frame on those Tuesdays and I am so thankful for those memories.
These quilt hangers are awesome. I would love a three hanger in black. I would put the hanger in our family room so we could enjoy the quilts visually and grab one when it gets chilly! Thank you for chance to win.
These quilt hangers are so nice. My mom was an avid quilter. She started quilt making at age 65. She passed away at 96 and I’ve been on a mission to complete all her unfinished ones (6) and have them quilted. Who only has one quilt in the works at a time? Only one left to go! Her name was Sara and she did the most beautiful piecing and needle turn appliqué. I would hang her different quilts in my family room rotating them so I could enjoy them every day.
Awesome way to display quilts! I would put one in the great room for seasonal and favorite quilts. First one up would be my postage stamp quilt, favorite quilt ever!
I’d put a 3-arm black hanger in either in of my 2 bedrooms- wherever the wall studs work to carry the weight). I have a patchwork log cabin quilt( my grandmother left the squares behind and my mother finished it), a quilt made by my great grandmother for my grandparents, and a red and white quilt( the embroidery looks machine stitched).
I would hang it in my family room. The first quilt I would hang on it would be a red White and blue quilt that my husband created an original design for me using one of Lisa’s lines of fabric. I would like the three quilt hanger.
I would hang it in my nautical sunroom, and put all my nautical quilts on it. I have a pennant one with rick rack on it that I made several years ago, that one would be displayed first. Although the 5 rack would be awesome I would like the 3 rack in distressed white as that size would work best for my house. I honestly would love a 3 rack for every room, but unfortunately my home is not designed with a lot of wall space. Ha, I keep looking down my hallway thinking, hmmm I could make this a gallery of my quilts! What a wonderful way to display all your seasonal quilts. Yes all gifts have arrived, I shopped early and only one left to wrap!
I have been eyeing this for so long! If I didn’t have to ship it, I would have one already! We just movand have done a total remodel in one year 🤦🏼♀️. Yeah, I know it’s insane! We still are waiting on two appliances which were ordered last February. I would hang mine if I won in the living room and hang on of the quilts I’m finishing now on it💖
Would hang it in our log home in the mountains. I have a Delectable Mountains flannel quilt and the summer pieced block of the week as soon as it is quilted!
I absolutely love these quilt hangers! I would hang one in my bedroom, which is where I often sit and stitch or hook rugs. It would be easily viewed and a warm quilt would be close at hand. The first quilt I would hang on it is a crib quilt I hooked in my first ever sewing class.
Wow, those are great quilt hangers! I would put it in my master bedroom. Got a perfect blank wall for it. Probably put first quilt from long ago or a Jane Austin that was a lot of work. I like both color hangers…great design.
I would love a black one ! So beautiful. I would put it in our living room for all to see the quilts that will adorn it. I finally finished up Tomorrow’s Flowers so that will go on it
Every time I see your quilts hanging on these quilt hangers I just smile! I think they are so awesome! I have been wanting to get one from the first day I saw them for sale. It would be hard to decide where to put it… bedroom, family room! The first quilt I would put on it would be the first flannel quilt I ever made! It is still one of my favorites! I love the idea of displaying new quilts every season or occasion! ❤️
I love the white 3 quilt hanger ♥️ I really need the dimensions though! Could height and width of each be added to the descriptions? I think the first quilt would be my Red work gatherings Take it easy I don’t have a lot of wall space so these hangers are so perfect.
When I saw this in your home tour I was ecstatic! I couldn’t wait for these to come on line. I’ve ordered a black one three tiered, and would absolutely love 💕 to win another black one We live half our time in CA and half our time in Utah. So I would love one for each home. They would be displayed in my family rooms for all to see, my Live a Thankful Life to begin with. So much fun!!!!
I have just the spot in my living room. I have a quilt that was totally hand stitched by my grandmother, which would go on the hanger. A single hanger would be my choice.
I would love to have the black 3 hanger and hang it in my living room so visitors could see them displayed. I would hang the quilts that go with the seasons. Maybe I’ll have to make some monthly quilts now too!
What a GREAT idea! You are smarter than the average bear, for sure! I would hang it in the large hallway I have to fill it up with some quilt beauty. Am thinking of all the fun I’d have switching the quilts out by the season, that would be so much fun. Thank you for this idea, and Merry Christmas!
So beautiful!!! If I win a hanger I would put it in our den on the wall by the window. Just enough light to magically show off the quilts. I love changing my quilts for the seasons!!
I would hang it in my family room so I could see it every day and I would take my special quilt out of the chest. The quilt I would start out with is the very first pieced quilt I made–in a class–it’s a Thimbleberries. I paid a Mennonite lady to hand quilt if for me–probably 20 years ago. I love that quilt and would love to be able to put it out.
If I won a quilt hanger, I would put in the living room so everyone can see the beautiful quilts I have made. The first quilt I would hang would be the memory quilt made from my Dad’s flannel shirts. If I won, I would chose a 3-arm distressed hanger that will fit in nicely with the farmhouse decor.
I absolutely LOVE these quilt hangers! They are beautiful as well as handy. (Good job Scott!)
If I won a quilt hanger….I would hang it in my Family Room where I could enjoy looking at my quilts every day! The first quilts I would put on it would be the antique family quilts my MIL has given me from her family. I love the black ones, but I’m not sure if I’d want the 3 arm or the 5 arm. I would have to look at my space and how I would rearrange to accommodate it. I have enough quilts to fill either. LOL
If I won a quilt hanger I would hang it in the living room. I would like the 3 arm in the distressed white. The first quilt I would hang on it would be the Redwork gathering quilt I am working on, Take it Easy!
These are great quilt hangars! I’d put a white one in our guest room, which is where I sew. The first quilt I would hang is my mom’s flower garden quilt–hand-pieced by her (I remember her working on it) and hand-quilted (by her North Dakota aunts and farm friends). It’s gorgeous! Thanks Lisa and Scott–always such good work and helpful items!
I would hang it in my bedroom, probably replacing on old hanger that I have used for years, I would hang my favorite quilt there, which is usually the one I just finished, to replace it again when I completed another quilt. Most quilts are given to others, so it may stay on that quilt hanger for a long time. Black would be my color choice….
My list is done, if at this point, whatever isn’t on the list, won’t get done. I am okay with that too!
Thanks again for all you give of yourself to the quilting world.
If I was lucky enough to win a hanger, or else purchased my own, I would get a red one—a three-arm one—and I would hang it in my red and white twin bed guest room. The first quilt I would hang would be easy to choose. It would be my Magic of Christmas quilt. The one you were so generous to feature on the cover of your book of the same title!
I’m very much enjoying your 12 days as I do every year. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas.
I would hang it in my living room. I have a few very special quilts that I would hang on it. One was shown at AQS in Paducah & Grand Rapids that I did as a BOM from Primitive Gatherings – Yoko Saito’s Vases of Flowers. Another is one I made for my Dad for his 89th birthday. I love to do wool applique quilts. I am slowing working on Lisa’s Twilight Garden BOM. My choice of color would be white. Thanks for these fun 12 Days!
I’d love to win one of these beautiful quilt hangers. I’ve always admired them when you show videos of them in your house! I have the perfect spot for the three hanger one in my family room. Id hang my quilts made with reproduction prints on it. Thanks for all you and your hard working staff does!
I love these. I would put one in every room. haha. Honestly, at least 1 of the 5 arm in the family room where we can all enjoy the gorgeous colours and styles of the quilts hung on them. Thanks Lisa. Awesome needful items this year!!
Those quilt hangers are beautiful. I can see hanging either the 3 or 5 arm in the family room with our lap quilts and blankets. It would make it easy to select one for snuggling and, hopefully, to return it when you’re finished using. Presently the black would fit my decor best and the first quilt I would hang is one made by a friend. That 5 arm version makes a display large enough to cover a big wall. Nice!
I’ve been wanting one of these quilt hangers forever! I would hang it next to my fire place in my family room and display my Moon Garden quilt in it. I would love the 3 arm quilt hanger. Thank you for this chance to win!
I LOVE these hangers. I am new to quilting and I would put the first quilt I did on one of the black hanger. I would put it in our 1913 log cabin which would look awesome. I just finished my third quilt to it would be so nice to display it!!! Scott has done an amazing job making these knowing how many people will proudly hang them.
I would love to win the white 3 quilt hanger & put in my foyer next to the door. I looked to order one immediately as receiving your email but none are shown. Guess they all sold out. I would hang seasonal quilts to greet anyone visiting ( after vaccinations lol). Hope you get more soon.
well what I have been waiting for is already gone. I know they will be available later but I also wish they would come in red. I can picture my red and white quilts on this five arm hanger now.
I would probably hang it in my bedroom, replacing a hanger that has been in there for years. I would hang my favorite quilt there, which is usually the one I just finished, to be replaced by the next quilt finished by me. Most of my quilts are given to others, so it may stay on there for quite awhile. Black would be my hanger of choice. My list is done, what isn’t on the list won’t get done and I am okay with that too.
Thanks again for all you give of yourself to the quilting world
I would LOVE to put a quilt hanger in my living room next to our fireplace. I currently have 5 quilts folded on our couch! The first quilt I would display would be my first “Christmas” quilt that I started in October at my friend’s house & just finished 2 weeks ago. I love the quilt & love knowing my friend & I got together to sew at least once this year!
I love the white one! My aunt hand-quilted me a beautiful queen size quilt for my wedding gift. It’s one of my most treasured possessions & would love to be able to display it somewhere when I want to change up my bed! Just some wrapping to do yet…shopping for Christmas is done! I do have a bit of stitching to get done for one more gift yet…it’s for my mom though so she will understand if it’s a bit late. 😉
These hangers are awesome ! I’d put the 5 arm in my sewing studio to have more quilts to display at one time :). I’d definitely hang my 2 summer blocks of the week from 2020.
I love the quilt hangers that Scott is making. I love that you can display quilts in a group. The white 3-arm hanger is fabulous. If I won a won a quilt hanger, I would hang it in my living room. The first quilt I would put on it is a leaf quilt I made in the 70’s. Changing quilts with the seasons is a wonderful ideal. The 1-arm hanger in black would be great for my husband’s room with my Hole in the Barn Door quilt on it. I have bought my 3 sisters quilt/sewing gifts for Christmas this year. I’ll have to look at where they need a quilt hanger for a birthday or Christmas gift next year. Thank you for the opportunity. Merry Christmas and God bless you.
PS as I wrote this, I felt like Ralphie wanting an Official Red Ryder BB gun.
I think that these hangers are awesome. If I had one I would hang it in my family room where everyone could enjoy the quilts. I think the 3 arm one would be perfect. The first quilt that I would hang on it would be a Christmas quilt that I made my hubby about 20 years ago.
I would hang in my living room, and the first quilt i would hang is my Monterrey Medallion quilt done in Kansas Trouble fabrics. Of course I would want the 5 arm hanger – more beautiful quilts to see!
I would hang it in my entry with whatever the season is at the time (flowery for spring and summer, fall colors and Christmas and maybe make a new one or 2). I would love either but think the 3 would be great!!!
Currently in my entry way I have an oak wall quilt holder. It holds one quilt. I have been quilting for many years and have many seasonal quilts to display. Should I be so fortunate to win, I would place this quilt hanger in my entry way. Thank you for the opportunity and Merry Christmas.
If I won one I would love black. I would hang in my living room, I’m a big fan of civil war quilts, have a few seasonal ones. I would just enjoy seeing different quilts being hung together at one time.
I love the way these quilt hangers display the quilts. I can use a five arm in my hallway to display seasonal quilts. The first one to go up will be the antique King’s Crown quilt that came to us through my husband’s family. The black is perfect in our house, so I have a new item on my wish list.
I love those! They are great!! I’d really like them all over the house, but especially in the living room and my bedroom. The first quilt I would put on it would be the one and only quilt my Mom ever made. It is a queen size quilt with a candle-wicked pineapple in each block. We sent it to the Amish country and had it hand quilted…it is a treasure💕
I would hang my quilt hanger in my hallway which has a very long bare wall. My first quilt that I would hang is a scrappy quilt that both my best friend, Laura and her Mom, Mona, all made together from the same basket of scraps. We all treasure our quilts as they remind us of our time together.
I love these Love the fact that they hold several heavy quilts. I would hang my winter since Christmas will b over. It would go in my new quilt room. I would pick the black, 3 arm. Great idea.
If I won a quilt hanger I would love a black three arm to hang in my dining room. The front of my house is open for the living/dining area with all windows on the water side so little walk space. I had a perfect spot though and would love to display my Live a Thankful Life right in the front.
Wow! Those hangers are fantastic! I’ve thought about buying a vintage ladder to display quilts, but don’t have a good place for one. The wall mount option would work much better. I would hang it in my living room where I spend a lot of time. The first quilt I would hang is my Carolina Lily quilt. I would like the black finish for my space.
Oh my gosh, I love this design. I walked all through my house and think the perfect place would be in my master bedroom. Right now I just have them thrown over an Amish black quilt rack. I think the Black 3 Arm would be perfect. The first quilt I would hang, would be a Trip Around The World quilt I made with friends at a class over 20 years ago. I remember it vividly as it was so much fun to make.
If I won a quilt hanger, I would put it in my family room…that’s where we all hang out and it would be useful AND beautiful! I have a red and white sampler quilt I would hang on it first…mostly because it is seasonal until February is over…then it’s just classic! I think I would love the black 3 arm hanger. My space isn’t ginormous enough for the 5, but warrants more than a single. Oh my…I’d have to hang 2 other quilts too! I think they’d be my Goose in the Pond quilt and the Bristle Creek Farmhouse that I’m trying to finish up! I think that would look fabulous!
I like the white single arm and I would put it in our guest room that we just re-did. We are making it more modern in there. I like the simplicity of the single. My floor quilt rack looks out dated. The pandemic has sent us to updating!
Wowee!. What a great give away! I would like a black 3 arm please. It would go in my family room. The very first quilt to adorn it would be my special red and white English Ivy. I made this quilt from a Marsha McCloskey pattern but took it further adding new blocks and additional borders of many triangles. Living in Wisconsin I look forward to your new complex – so exciting: can’t wait to come and visit. Good luck with it all! Happy holidays to you and yours! Thank you!
I would hang the quilt hanger in my living room. It is truely our “living” room. The 1st quilt I would hang is a red and white antique stepping stone quilt. It is my favorite quilt for so many reasons. I would change the quilts with the seasons. I would perfer the black. C
Love the new quilt hangers. What is the size of the arm that holds the quilt? I need to see if the hanger would fit in the space I want. If I won the 3 quilt hanger I would hang three of my seasonal quilts, depending on which season we are in. I would hang it in the dining room. I am going to order the five quilt hanger once I find out the size of the arm and place the five quilt hanger over my bed in my bedroom.
Beautiful. I would hang it in my diningroom. The first quilt would be a double Irish Chain that my mother made from my grandmother’s fabric. The black one that holds five quilts would be my first choice but they are all wonderful!
Merry Christmas!
When you first posted them on your site, I printed it out to see if my husband could make it. That has not happened. I would hang it in my bedroom and put one of my Kansas Troubles quilts on it.
I would hang my quilt that was lovingly made in 1846 for a woman by another one in an insane asylum in Vermont. It would be my reminder of the strength that comes from caring about others, no matter what your circumstances.
I would definitely hang white quilt hanger in the living room away from the windows so they don’t fade. I would mix an antique quilt along with some of my favorites.
I would hang a quilt I made my mom many years ago on a 3′, brown wall hanger. Our family room is the best place to display a beautiful quilt with so many memories.
The 1st quilt I would hang is the one great great Aunt Effie made for my Aunt Effie. Aunt Effie taught me to sew at age 8, along with embroidery, knitting, baking & canning skills. This is where my interest also peaked for quilting. I have quilts Effie made. She was a great lady who was caretaker for her parents & wasn’t able to raise her own family so “adopted” us. I was with her almost daily. I also have a quilt from my husband’s male ancestor to hang. I would hang it in my living room. Either size of hanger would be fantastic!
We turned our formal dining room into a “library” with a large book case and recliners. The black triple would be perfect for hanging quilts to snuggle in during our “reading parties.” The first quilt I would hang would be a mystery quilt I made years ago that matches the recliners.
I will be ordering the 3 quilt white frame….to be placed right inside my front door. The first quilt going on it will be my PG Summer Gatherings…..All my presents are here!!!!! jmh
I love the look of these quilt hangers and how easy it is to hang and change out the quilts. I can see several of these in my future. If I got lucky enough to win one of these beauties, I would probably put it in my guest room and the first quilt I would hang would be the antique Amish hexie quilt that I own. To start with, a single hanger in black would be ideal.
I have the perfect spot in my living room for the 3 arm hanger in black. Those red and white quilts look fabulous hanging on it so that would be my first idea too.
I would love to have the black hanger and it would be in the living room. I would use it to hang the seasonal quilts for display. Some are new and some are antique from my grandmother. It would be lovely.
I have been wanting the single one forever, but now I would love the one to hang 3 quilts. If i had it today, i would hang Christmas quilts. I love them both, but think I would like dark colored one.
I would love to hang quilts in my living room on a black 3 arm hanger. I’d change the quilts every month, with seasonal or color coordinated quilts. Finally my quilts could be properly displayed.
I have two spots I would hang quilts on three arms hangers. One would have the two quilts my late mother made and the other would have the two quilts my great aunt purchased at a church sale well over 50 years ago, intact with the hand written sales price for each. This would leave two arms for me to hang two of my own quilts.
My quilts are stacked on the hearth in the living room. I enjoy the color but the designs are not apparent when stacked. But with Scott’s hanger… well those quilts would really show their glory. Scott is quite a craftsman. The hangers have great rustic appeal as well as function.
The 1st quilt I would hang is the one a great great Aunt Effie made for my Aunt Effie. Aunt Effie taught me how to sew at age 8. She also taught me embroidery, knitting, baking & canning skills. This is where my quilting interests peaked. She was a great lady who was caretaker of her parents so wasn’t able to raise her own family. She “adopted” us. I was with her almost daily. I also have quilts Effie made. I would also hang a quilt a male ancestor of my husband’s made. I would put the hanger in my living in a safe light area. Either size hanger would be fantastic!
I have a small house and any help with displaying would be great. The first quilt I would display is my snowman quilt which just happens to be a Primitive Gatherings pattern!
I’ve been eyeing these for some time. They’re beautiful. I would hang mine at the top of the stairs, so I would see my quilts the second on came in the front door. I would hang the first quilt I made which was a gift to my mom who is now in a LTC facility. Then a quilt I made for me, most went to grandkids. Last, but not least, would be a PG quilt I made.
These are very cool! I have a corner in my living room that needs some color. The white three arm holder would be perfect to show off a few of my blue and white quilts.
These are so cool! I have the perfect spot in my living room for the 3-arm one in black. I would rotate quilts throughout the year – RWB in summer, blues in winter, Christmas ones in December, fall colors in autumn, etc.
This is such a great way to showcase quilts. I would want the 3 arm. I would hang a quilt my husband’s grandmother made, all hand stitched. Along with a Cathedral Window quilt my Mother hand stitched & quilted.
I would put my quilt hanger in my guest bedroom with my heart quilts to welcome my family in 2021! They may pick out their favorite and cuddle up in bed, or bring it out to throw on while we watch a movie and eat pop corn!!
Love these hangers. Probably hang it in the master bedroom or hallway. I have so many quilts hanging everywhere it’s hard to fuming free walk space. Thanks for all you do Lisa and Merry Christmas
I LOVE these hangers! If I won a hanger I would definitely gift it to my mother! She probably has 75 % of the quilts that I have made, including my first quilt. Every time she comes over and a new quilt is bound, and she always notices, she says ” is that for me! “. Now how can I tell her no, so she always leaves my house with it. I think she would like the black and the 3 or 5 arm. They are beautiful and are going to be a big hit for quilters this year! So tell Scott he better be ready for us! What a quilter wants…she usually will get it one way or another! Thank you Lisa and the whole primitive gatherings villase!!! XOXO
If I won a quilt hanger, I’d hang it in the family room and adorn it with one or more of my Indigo Gatherings quilts. My favorite of these is Indicon 😀
i would love to have the 3 or 5 arm quilt hanger. i have several old quilts and a couple of ones my sisters and i have made together several years ago. it would be a great way to display them. right now they are folded up and not on display.
I love them all. We have numerous quilts laying around. The five arm would be great for holding them all. I was thinking one with the longer arm would be great mounted next to a window. If I swung the top arm over window at night it would help keep the house warm in the winter. Love Scott’s work.
I have been eyeing these racks for awhile. I would love a 3 arm in distressed black. i would hang it in my family room with some antique quilts and some of my own. What a great prize! Thanks so much for 12 days of fun emails! Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2021!
I would love a 5 armed hanger for my family room. The first quilt would be the sunshine and shadows log cabin that I made for my Mother. She wanted a nap quilt. She passed away 2 years ago and I feel close to her when I use it. Thanks for your generosity!
I would hang it in my living room and hang red and white quilts on it. The triple in black would be my choice. I’ve wanted one of your quilt hangers ever since I saw them on your blog. Thanks for the chance to win one.
I think the five arm because I can never decide which quilt to display! My living room in a protected spot from daylight. I would hang my PG wool quilt that is done in reds and golds. It would be a fun addition and most likely not the last one I would own.
I don’t have room for a quilt ladder so a 3 arm would be nice bur I would be happy with a 1 arm also. There’s a bare wall in the family room & I would change out colors for the seasons.
Hi Lisa, I w I’ll hang my 3 arm in the master bedroom of my new home. Just retired and moved to NC. I can’t wait to have my quilts hanging so I can enjoy them! Thank you!
I love love love those quilt racks. I would put one on the wall coming into my house. I have three 64 inch niches in that wall. The center one holds a large mirror and I put two quilts in the two surrounding it. I would put a 5 quilt rack on the wall next to the third one to hold extra quilts. We also have a small home in AZ where our grandchildren live. My grand babies call quilts yaya’s. So Gigi needs a yaya rack in Az as well.
I love the quilt hanging arms. I think the 3 arm would work best for my space but I also love the 5 arm version as well. I have so many quilts to hang I am not sure what would get put there first. Possibly the first quilt I ever made 4 years ago. Love This idea. Merry Christmas!!! June
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the quilt hangers! I would want a black 3 or 5 quilt hanger. The first quilt I would hang on it would be Warm Winter Blessings. It should be done in the next few weeks. It is special because my grandson Jase who just turned 7 who loves doing crafty things with me, helped me stitch a little on it. He has been wanting to learn how to sew for a long time and I am teaching him some sewing this winter. I would hang it in my family room for displaying quilts. I still am waiting for one package I ordered for Christmas to come. If it comes after Christmas it will be something to look forward to later. Merry Christmas!
The black three arm quilt rack would be perfectly beautiful in my living room and I would love to hang the quilts that my kids love to snuggle under when they come home.
I would need a five arm and maybe two of them. My favorite is the white. My house is small so quilts are everywhere. The first to be hung would be those older ones that I actually hand quilted. One was even hand pieced. They finish up a lot faster now days!!
I would love a three arm quilt rack. They are beautiful! I would hang my spring tulip quilt first and then my other bright colored quilts in the living room so I could see them every day.
I would hang the 3 arm in our study. This would be a beautiful opportunity to share my quilts on display. I would change quilts for the seasons. I can’t wait to see it next Christmas!
These quilt hangers are super neat! I would put a 3 arm in my family room and pick the quilts up off the couch! Then they could act as decor when not used.
How beautiful!! Love that the quilt hangers are hand made and will be holding quilts that are hand made.
We are in the process of buying our home and would love to hang my quilts and the hanger in the living room for all to see. Would love to have either the 3 or 5 arm hanger in black. I’d put the first quilt I ever made on it and rotate my others with the seasons.
Happy Holidays and all the Best in 2021 to you and the PG staff.
Hi Lisa! If I won your quilt hanger, it would go in my bedroom, or my sewing room. The first quilt I would put on it would be the one from my Grandmother. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. As far as I can figure out, after talking to relatives, she made this for me in the late 1940’s, 🇨🇦
Love, love, love the 3 and 5 arm quilt hangers. I’d change out quilts seasonally and hang near the quest bedrooms. Merry Christmas to you and the shop girls.
I am SO excited these are finally available to order! I collect antique quilts, especially red & green, and have run out of ways to display them. I can’t wait to get one of these to help show off some of my favorite treasures!
I would replace the old ladder I have with quilts folded and hanging on the rungs. I think the 3 arm would fit perfectly. These are so lovely. Thank you all and a very Merry Christmas from sunny Colorado.
I have been eyeballing these for awhile now as I have been collecting antique quilts for 30 years now in addition to the few I make each year. I see myself as a steward in making sure the antiques are preserved – the guest bed has 5 layered on it! Displaying them properly is a challenge and I love how much you can see of each quilt on these hangers!
Oh my goodness, I just love the quilt hangers. I don’t currently own one but if I did, I’d get the three arm quilt hanger first in black. I’d hang it in the bedroom so I could see the quilts first thing in the morning when I wake up, through out the day and again right before I turn the lights out at night. I’m currently working on a Christmas Quilt and that would be the first quilt I hang on it. Of course I’d have to get another one in white for the living room so I could enjoy looking at my other quilts all day long. LOL
I’m looking at that spot right now, Lisa. Next to the front door, the only wall space in the entire house that’s not already taken up furniture, collectibles, CDs, and oh yeah… quilts. I would start with my Civil War sampler, my Madders and Blues sampler, and my Ohio Star quilt, then rotate with the rest of the bunch. Three prongs would be perfect. Thanks, and happy holidays to you and your family!
I am very fortunate to have my great-grandmother’s last quilt (I was born 2 years after she passed, so I never knew her). She died in 1944, and it is red and white in a Drunkard’s Path pattern. My grandmother carried the top with her for about 30 years, and finally finished it, so 2 previous generations have touched that cloth. I am afraid to leave it folded, and wish to see it displayed…your hanging rack would do it justice. I am curious to know the length of the arms, as that would decide where I place it. And, though I have more than enough quilts to fill a 5-arm, I would be grateful to have just the 3-arm. The “budget” can’t fit it in until next year, though,,,,,2020…(sigh). Best to all of you this season, and hopes for a brighter New Year!
Boy those quilt hangars are awesome! I would put mine in the family room where it will be easily admired. It would be nice to change the quilts with the season. So for now I would hang my Christmas ones!
I think I’d like the distressed black 3-arm hanger! I would use it in my bedroom to hang my wedding quilt and maybe a couple of others in similar colors.
I have been waiting for the multi arm hangers ever since you first mentioned them. I would love the 3 arm hanger to replace the quilt rack in my living room. I think you would get a better view of my quilts. The first quilt to go on the rack would be my Mad About Plaid quilt that I made for my husband.
I would be thrilled to win the 1 arm with the black finish. My heirloom red & white pieced, star quilt would be perfect hanging in the family room where I could enjoy it every day. The quilt was found in a linen closet after both my mother and grandmother had passed away; sadly, they did not label their quilts so I don’t if one or both worked on it. My grandkids call it our “Picnic Quilt” because we do make memories on it….only rule- no berry drinks!
These are lovely quilt hangers! If I won one, it would go on our bedroom wall where the sun would not fade the two quilts I would hang on it. The first to go on would be the yellow flower garden quilt made by my great Aunt for my parents wedding in 1952, the second would be the beautiful pink Dresden Plate quilt made by my mother-in-law and her 4 sisters for her hope chest before 1935. I would choose the 3 arm in white. Both quilts are hand pieced and hand quilted and such a joy to experience. I have often wished I could hear the conversations that took place during the making of these beautiful quilts. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these hangers!
I’d love the 3 arm one. I’d hang my antique quilts on it in my family room. They’re both so beautiful but I think the black one matches my decor best. Merry Christmas!
Oh my! I think I have to have one of these, even if I don’t win and even if it takes awhile. If I won the 3 or 5 hanger, I would put it in our living room beside the antique trunk from my husband’s grandfather. The first quilt at the top would be my Dear Jane quilt, then my Moon Garden, then Nearly Insane. But I would change them around and for the Winter it would be my Primitive Gatherings Snow Friends and Warm Winter Blessings and I still have plenty of Snowman Gathering fabric to make more.😁
These are awesome! One way or another, I am going to hang one in my living room and the first quilt I will hang on it is a feed sack quilt that I hand quilted!
I would hang it in my family room and definitely put my Norwegian holiday red and white quilt on it. I love the white distressed one. Checking things off my list, but I lost my mind yesterday and decided to clean out my pantry! When the mood strikes you, you just have to do it.
In the family room where we spend almost all our awaketime for sure. I could hang up our everyday quilts and we would have an extra chair where the pile ends up now. Happy Holidays to you and your family and thank you for all you do for quilters all year long. Best Wishes. Stay safe and stay well.
These are beautiful. I have always admired them in your home when you have done your home tours. I would choose the 5 tiered one. I would hang it in my family room and I would hang a combination of my quilts and my moms quilts that I treasure and inherited after she passed.
Love the quilt hangars. I would love the black five arm. It would be better hanging on wall rather than a ladder which takes floor space. I would use it in bedroom or on the den. Love all the wool ideas you have. Thanks for all.
Wow! Wat a great way to display my (ever growing) collection of red and white quilts! Or maybe my Civil War quilts? Just love the black one, just my style.
Those hangers are very cool. I would choose the three arm white one. It would go in the living room, and I would hang my antique quilts on it, but displaying my Christmas ones in December.
These hangers are beautiful. I would purchase the 3 arm hanger in black. I would hang it in my living room, I at this time would hang Christmas quilts on it, and I would change quilts along with the seasons. Thank-you for the chance to win one.
Hangers are a great idea. I could use several. I would like one in my sewing room. My other rooms have crazy windows that I am afraid will damage my quilts. I know I could use one in the family room.
It’s time to redecorate in our living room so that’s where this beautiful hanger would go. I think I would choose either the 3 or 5 place hanger-lots of quilts to hang. The quilts that need a home the most are the 30’s quilts or maybe my scrappy quilts. I love the fact that quilts can easily be changed for the season on this hanger. Maybe Scott could come up with a similar design for miniatures. Merry Christmas!
I would love the 5 hanger. I have so many quilts folded up away I would love to see as many as I can. I’d put it on the living room wall. Oh my I can see it now.
5 arm black. I would hang it in my main hallway opposite the 200 year old solid one piece of wood pitchfork including tines and worn from years of use.
On it would hang great Granny’s quilts that no one wanted because they were not her fancy ones. These were instead made with scraps of Gramps worn out clothes and maybe others worn out clothes in the family. Still used all these years later. I would also hang my European blankets that I use regularly.
Eventually one of my own made quilts will hang there.
The hanger will be a well loved and used addition to our home where it will hold treasures past and current for all to use and love while remembering those who went before us with G. Granny’s work of love.
I would hang a 3 quilt hanger next to my fireplace. The first quilt I would hang on it would be my Little Porch Time quilt by Lynda Hall. It is mostly hand appliqué & was quit the challenge for me & it took me about a year & a half to complete. I have some Primitive Gatherings quilts that must be made to hang on it also! 🙂
We recently downsized to a small condo and I need a couple of these quilt hangers for sure! I would hang one in the living room and one in my bedroom. The first quilt to go up would be my mom’s Postage Stamp quilt that she made and hand quilted. I’m so proud to own it! My choice would be the three arm black one. Thanks Lisa for all you do. Merry Christmas!
I would like a white 3 hanger for my living/dining room. I would hang the first quilt I finished. A pattern from Thimbleberries which told the story of a pioneer mother and daughter communicating between Kansas and Oregon. I can’t remember the name. It was quite an undertaking for a first quilt! But I persevered like the pioneers 🙂
My vision would be a black 3 quilt hanger right next to the piano in the living room. I would change up the quilts every quarter but focus on lots of blue. Like my grandmother who only wore pink after she turned 65 I have decided that life is short and I want to make lots of blue variation quilts. (Which can include purple) When Nana passed she had about 45 double knit pant suits in pink…I hope to have a lot more than 45 blue quilts by then!
I would love a five arm white hanger. My first one to go up would be my moon garden quilt and my Norma Whaley garden quilt. It would be wonderful to have a place to display my larger quilts, instead of having to fold them in a display cabinet. I don’t have a family room, so it would be awesome to have a hanger to display my quilts.
I have a lot of quilts waiting for the long arm quilter, it would be wonderful to have a home to display them, presently I only have two walls in the living room to hang any quilts.
If I won one of the display racks I would give it to my mother – she has made and has so many beautiful quilts. She is the one that introduced me to wool embroidery, signing me up for one of your classes at Quilt Odyssey several years ago.
The 5-arm rack would be great, but so would the 3-arm rack. Probably prefer black; both finishes are beautiful.
Oh, these quilt hangers are so beautiful! I would choose the 3 quilt holder in black because I have more room for it in a nook!! I would hang my 3 handmade Amish quilts that my parents bought when they visited us when we were stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Such sweet memories.
OH MY GOODNESS you just made my 2020 wish come true. There are silver linings in this crazy year. I have been longing to see these go on sale since the first time they were revealed. I want the five arm black one to hang in our main room. The first quilt I will hang will be my 3rd quilt in my REMEMBER ME SERIES, Remember Me Still, which is currently with Linda (The Quilted Pineapple) being quilted. My mom who passed at 75 and my sister who passed at 42 would be honored to know that quilts honoring them are hanging in such a special way in such a special place in our home. OK, now I need to get a tissue to dab my tears of happiness….thank you LIsa for this opportunity.
How wonderful these hanging quilt racks are. My choice would be the 3 arm black one. My quilts on the rack would change with the seasons, I love the colors of each season and have made many to honor the season. How much fun it would be to have a place to display them in my main room.
I love these! I would put mine next to my piano, and put some antique quilts up for a while. the 5 arm looked really great. Love this idea, saving it for future referral:)
I would start with an antique flower garden quilt top that I found laying on the floor of a junk store. It is all hand pieced and to beautiful to be laying on a dirty floor so I rescued it.
These quilt hangers are BEAUTIFUL! I have a perfect spot in my front entry that a 5 arm one would look so nice! I’m in the middle of trying to finish my summer block of the week quilts (yes, I did both of them!). Whidhever one gets done first would be the one I’d hang first! Thanks, Lisa, for the chance to win, and thank you for al you’ve done this year to help us through the craziness! Have a Merry Merry Christmas!
I would hang one of my great grandmother’s quilts and then the few I have finished of the PG quilts.
These hanger as awesome. Tell Scott thanks for making these!! Merry Christmas!
If I won the amazing quilt hanger, I would put it in my entryway. That way everyone that comes into my home can see the beautiful quilts that would be hanging on it. The first quilt I would hang on it, would be the hand sewn flower garden quilt that my mother worked so hard to finished before cancer took her six years ago. I would choose the black quilt hanger. Thank you for a great giveaway Lisa.
I would love a 3-arm white rack! I live in a tiny 400 sq. ft house and that rack would help me tremendously store my quilts, with the added delight of being an art piece as well!
All those hangers are both lovely and practical. My choice would be the five arm hanger in black. I would hang my Lone Star quilt that was a graduation present from my mom and also some quilts i have made.
I love the quilt hangers. I’d love any but as space is at a premium the larger the better. I’d probably put it in my living room with seasonal quilts or quilts I’d recently finished.
I would love to win such a beautiful and functional quilt hanger. My mom has been a quilter since before I came on the scene, and now when we get together (different states) that is what we do. The first quilt I would hang is my Lone Star, which my grandma pieced and my mom quilted for me for my wedding. And then on from there!!
Such a pretty hanger! If I got one, it would be a three arm in black. I’m thinking that black would go in just about anyone’s home. I have a few places I could put it, there is a corner in the family room that is perfect. A single one would fit in many places. These are special pieces and I would put my favorite quilts on them.
I have a collection of antique quilts. Several are folded and in a display case. A hanging quilt rack would allow me to hang them to enjoy more fully each day.
I love how the hangers look both traditional and modern at the same time! My first quilt that would go on a hanger would be my king sized 150 Canadian red and white quilt. It would look beautiful.
I would display my seasonal quilts on the hanger. To do that, I would need the five arm hanger. I prefer the light/white/cream color to match my Oshkosh and Braeyer Star quilts.
I would put hanger in my family room. I would hang the quilts my 87 year old aunt made for me from my deceased husband’s clothing. She passed this year at 98. I would love the white 5 arm. The more the merrier. Love PG and missed seeing u guys at shows this year. Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2021.
Oh, that hanger is wonderful! I would also put it in the family room. Top billing would be the hand quilted flannel my Mom made for me 22 years ago. I would love a three arm hanger so there is one for each person, handy and not falling down into the chair when people sit. LOVE IT! Merry Christmas to all of you PG people and thank you for the fun chances to win 🙂
I bought a single black hanger a couple of years ago which I love. If I won a hanger I would like the three quilt hanger in black. I like the black stain because is not glossy at all. I copy your ideas all the time and use patterns from your antique collection. I am currently working on Among Friends and the Bow Tie Block quilt.
I am the proud owner of one of Scottie’s single arm quilt racks. I absolutely love it ! As soon as you mentioned that Scottie’s was making racks with more arms I purposely looked around my house to see where I could put one that would display more quilts. It really didn’t take long….just on the other side of the sliding glass door in my family room. It would replace the wimpy quilt ladder that is just too short to do the corner justice! My single arm one makes me smile every time I look at it….the five arm is going to have me grinning and doing a happy dance!
These hangers are beautiful! I would love to have the 3 arm, black. I would put seasonal quilts on it and have it right in the family room where we can enjoy them. Best wishes for a much, much better 2021.
I would find a place for any of the sizes in either color! Probably on the large blank wall in our entry. I’m always looking for more ways to display quilts and these are perfect! I have so many seasonal quilts that it would not be hard to fill it!
I LOVE these! If I won one, I would do the 3 or the 5. It would go in my living room and I would put a couple of antique quilts made by my great grandmother and one favorite my grandmother made. I am afraid to use these for wear and tear, so to display them would be awesome! Of course I would need to hang one I have made recently and I would rotate that! LOVE your binding needles, by the way! They have changed my life in that I am actually finishing quilts I left at the binding point. They have been nicely folded to where you couldn’t tell… lol!
The hangers are perfect for freeing up space. I’d choose the black one to hang my first quilt I made, and quilts my mom gave me! Such special memories when I look at them. Sure glad my stitching has improved since the first one!
Wow, these hangers are so perfect! Just what we need. I could easily use the 5 arm, but would love the 3 arm as well for the living room. There would be a variety of quilts I’d put there, but the first would have to be the pieced and hand appliqued center one called ‘Gather Around’. Next would have to be Elizabeth Hartman’s “Fancy Forest” (my grandkids love that one!), and several others of course. What a beautiful problem solver!
I have wanted one or more of Scott’s quilt hangers since I first saw them on your show! I’d put one in my guest bedroom. The first quilt I’d display on it would be the one I inherited from my Grandma Elsie made in the 1940s, Grandma’s Flower Garden. It’s been stored in a clean pillow case. It would look lovely on a white one of Scott’s hangers!
These quilt hangers look great. My mom became an avid quilter at 65 and gifted many quilts to her family. She did beautiful piecing and needle turn appliqué. When she passed away two years ago at age 96, I promised myself I would complete all her unfinished projects…. who doesn’t have multiple unfinished quilts? I’ve finished 6 and have one left. If I was fortunate enough to win one of these hangers I would hang her quilts in my family room so I could rotate them and enjoy her beautiful quilting year round. I would want to get a 3 arm black one. Thank you.
I have the perfect spot for the black 3 arm in our master bedroom! The first quilt I would hang on it is “Square Deal” but it might be awhile since I just am starting it!
Scott is doing a fabulous job on those hangers. I would definitely put a 3 arm to good use. Wait I saw Maria’s comment before me and she said master bedroom. That would be a great place too.
I would hang mine in the living room behind the Amish made hickory bent wood rocker. The first quilt to grace the hanger is the black and red flannel summer block of the week quilt I made. I would love the five arm, but my room could only accommodate the three arm. I love these and almost bought the single but am glad I waited.
Be still my heart!!! I was eagerly awaiting this fabulous 5-arm quilt rack to make its appearance. Having called about its possible availability and anxiously hoped for a Christmas miracle, you did it!!! Thank you for a splendid grant of my wish! 🙂
I would love the black 5 arm for my living room and the first quilt I would put on it is one my hubby’s great grandmother made. Thank you and your staff once again for all you do for your customers.
The 3 arm black hanger would be amazing in my living room or dining room…..would have to decide. There are two walls out of the sun. I would hang 2 quilts I have made and 1 which was a gift. I have looked at the one arm hangers a lot!! Love how you have used them in your home. What a nice giveaway! Merry Christmas!
I would need/want the 5 arm one! I think I would put it in the TV room, where all the current quilts/blankies are all over the couch. It is so fun to wrap up and watch movies together and we have a big family and other neighbors that are like adopted children too. The first quilt would be a big black and white star that covers most of us together on the couch. The others would just have to fit around that featured one.
I am still working on the last minute gifts I am making (pencil pouches) that are custom colors and styles for each of my kiddos. Everything else is ready, just not wrapped.
The first one I would hang would be a 5-hanger in the den. Very handy to pull a quilt if I’m chilly this winter. I think I’d hang the next one (a 3-hanger) in the guest bedroom. We set the thermostat at 60 degrees on winter nights so my guests sometimes remind me that my house is colder than they are used to. Easy access for my warm-turned-cold friends! Not sure which quilt would be my first to hang … Merry Christmas!
Oh my–I suppose the hanger would be in our upstairs family room. It’s cozy there and familiar–much like my collection of Primitive Gatherings quilts. I cherish the designs and the designer.
Would absolutely love the three quilt hanger–that way I could rotate the quilts with frequency.
I would place my 5-arm black rack in our family room and enjoy seeing my family quilts on display. Getting quilts out of storage and being enjoyed is truly a Christmas blessing. I was so excited about the availability of this quilt rack and envisioning its place in my home that I forgot to mention all the details about how I would use it.
I would hang the holder in my bed room. I would hang my plaids and strips quilt since it is my only completed quilt. I would love the holder for three since I have two quilt in process.
I love the hangers! Such a great idea! The very first quilt I would hang on it is a quilt that a I made with Lemoyne star blocks and a wool appliqué basket in the center. The blocks are from an exchange I did with a group of friends. We made 5 blocks for each person and then made our own quilts! It was challenging but fun! And each quilt turned out so beautiful!
Presents sent and received, cookies baked, cards sent. Now to sit back and finish a gift for someone local. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Want one of the quilt arms but not a lot of wall space so unfortunately will have to pass.
Those new wooden quilt hangers are fabulous to say the least. I’d really love to win one of any size and would put in in my entrance hall where those entering the house could see some of my handmade quilts.
I hang my quilts for every season and all year long. I would love an actual quilt hanger to put them on. I love all the sizes and would use any or all of them immediately.
I would for sure order the 5 arm one in black, and the first one I would hang on it is the one that used to hang in my office before I retired. It is such a happy quilt and no matter the weather outside, it makes it spring time inside. thanks for the generous offer!
I would use it when I decorate for the holidays so right now through February the quilts would be red and white. I planned ahead since I knew I wasn’t going anywhere this Christmas I mailed things early. Merry Christmas.
If I won a quilt hanger I would hang it in my hallway. I would chose the black 3 armed one. I received 5 quilt tops a few years ago from my Mother that my Grandmother had pieced. I am currently quilting #4. I love quilting them and knowing the fabrics were from my grandparents shirts and aprons, etc. and knowing that I am blessed to be working with the same fabric my Grandmother worked on. I would hang those quilts on the quilt hanger.
The first quilt I’d hang would be my first quilt that my grandmother helped me make on her treadle at age 8…..from her scrap bag…..now a doll quilt my grandchildren play with when they visit. I get misty eyed every time I see it because I can remember her in some of the quilt triangles (all outs cut off…lol) because they came from her old house dresses. I’m misty a little now too….I am now 71 and have made hundreds of quilts!
If I were to win a quilt hanger I would definitely hang the quilt I finished from a top left to me by my kids’ great grandmother. I couldn’t bring myself to machine quilt it, so I taught myself to hand quilt on this beautiful quilt!
oh, how neat and fun is that to have three or four or more hanging in the wall…..it would be a nine patche of cardinals holly and black, red, green, and believe it some of the “A” word…..I must of been very activate for the moment…lol Merry Christmas and Happy New Year…
They are really cool! I’ve been debating about getting a quilt ladder but I think I’d like one of these more. Are they made of wood? The first quilt I’d put on it is a Doug Lesko quilt I made 2 years ago with winter scenes that remind me of my Dept.56 Dickens village. It’s my pride & joy! Probably the best wall would be in the dining room or ???
LOVE your quilt hangers…If I was lucky enough to win one I would hang it in the family room…I would hang my barn quilt on there first and that would free up a wall…I would get a black one if I got one…THANKS for all you do,,,I can’t imagine doing all you do…KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!
Hi Lisa….Wow, for some reason, this is the first time I’ve seen these and I absolutely love them! I would put a 3 arm hanger in my entry hallway as that’s the only large empty space I have. The first quilt hung would be my primitive angel quilt 🙂
I hadn’t seen those yet. It would look great in our family room that has lots of barn beams in it. I have lots of antique replica quilts to hang but I am most proud of my Princess Feather, an early work. Merry Christmas to all!!!!
When I saw the hangers, the first thing I thought of was an old fashioned dish towel hanger that was in our first home (a little farm house with a big kitchen that all the other rooms opened off to)! What a great idea for quilts–I would put one in our family room!!
I would hand a white 3 arm in my new 4 season porch looking over Lake Ida. I would hand red and white quilts over the winter/ valentines. I have looked at these quilt hangs for sometime and would sooo enjoy one if I won one. Thanks Lisa
I really like these quilt hangers and how well they show off your quilts. If I had one, it would go in our great room. I would need the five arm one because I have several finished quilts that need a “home” so that they can be seen and enjoyed. One of those was made using a Farmhouse Gatherings flannel layer cake. The pattern is called Confetti Cake by Pieced Tree Patterns. Thank you for the opportunity to win one! Merry Christmas!
Love these hangers, was even planning a trip to Wisconsin from Texas next summer to come get one! I would hang some of my grandmother’s (antique now) quilts that I have cherished. She taught me to sew and love of quilting came from her, to display her quilts would be a beautiful reminder of quilting passed down! 3 arm white would be perfect in my house!
The quilt hangers are another unique design from Primitive Gatherings. Winning one of them would make my year. I especially like the 3 arm black hanger which would be in my studio or my front room adorned with seasonal quilts…once they are quilted! (too many UFO’s) . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
These are amazing….I think I would buy a 3 arm black one….Scott does an incredible job with these. I can’t imagine winning one….I’m not too lucky in that dept…lol. But I WILL aquire one st some point. Too awesome not too!
Scott’s quilt hangers are beautiful! I love the worn paint finish. The 3 arm quilt hanger would get the folded flannel quilts off the sofa in the living room.
I would love the five rung one but probably only have room for the three. They are so super neat. He does such a nice job with them. Your are so lovely in your home. Love those red and white quilts. Gorgeous.
Scott’s hangers are beautiful. I would hang a 5 arm quilt hanger in my stairwell to display my mothers quilts. I would love to get them out where everyone can see them.
If I would be so lucky, I would hang a 3 arm black quilt hanger in our farmhouse living room. I would change the quilts seasonally. Thank you, and have fun picking a winner! Dee in SW WI
Fabulous way to get my quilts off a stack! I would need the 5 arm-not to be greedy-the 3 would work for another room!! I would put it in my bedroom and display my red and white star quilt that we made one Christmas as a quilt along. I love it!! Then put my other BOM’s and when my SBOW-Live a Thankful Life quilt is quilted-it will go on there for awhile! Love having a way to display my quilts. Scott is very good-he will be busy!!
I would hang it in entry way to family room. The five hanger one with the first quilt I ever made and adding the quilts from grandmother’s and great grandmother’s received from family. Lovely way to display!
These quilt hangers are gorgeous! What a treasure to be displayed in my living room of course! I would love the black 5 arm one upon which I would first hang a quilt from the 40’s. My grandma won a signature raffle quilt back then at her church in northern MN. Her name along with some of her brother’s names are hand embroidered on it. It is still in great shape and the blue colors are still vivid. They must have hand written their names on the fabric, and the church ladies quilt guild embroidered them and stitched the blocks together. I think my grandma may have been in that guild, but I can’t be sure.
I love the 3armed black and I would hang it at the top of my stairs so everyone could see it.i made a famil Irish chain quilt years ago with family pictures on it.lots of our loved ones are gone but it would be lovely to hang it up so everyone could see the beautiful quilt.
I would love one of these hangers. I would put at lake house with my great grandmother’s schoolhouse red and white quilt that she made with first sewing machine from Montgomery Ward. Would like the 3 arm.
I would hang it in our bedroom so I could display my quilts instead of hiding them in the chest. I would like a white 5-arm hanger. The first quilt to be hung would be a hand-stitched “grandmothers flower garden” made by my great-grandmother 100+ years ago.
I would hang a red and white Christmas quilt and also my moon garden quilt . I would probably put it in my entryway so you would see it first. A black one would look awesome!
Ooooooo I love love love the 3 hanger black quilt racks. I have two antique quilts I would display along with a rotation of some of my quilts. I’m thinking of the wall just inside my front door would be a great spot. Sadly at this point in time I don’t have any walls large enough for the 5 hanger rack (lol VERY small house), maybe when we move. Merry Christmas Liz and Steve
If I won I would put one in my living room where I would hang my Christmas quilts every year and switch it out with quilts from other seasons! I would also put one in my bedroom- makes it look so cozy! Love my quilts! Thanks for all your hard work!
I would use the 3 arm in my family room. Perfect space. I would hang my blue and white quilts that are in the process. 2 from Lisa’s latest blue collection and one from the Blue and white book. It would be beautiful! I still have wrapping to do, not much and one gift card to buy! Small group this year. My son from Colorado can’t make it. It will be strange!
I could have one in every room… Love all the options, both sizes and color. And so, so easy to change things out! It’s a really nice option to have a darker one for some of my antique quilts and a white one for something like blues and whites, or my thirties quilts. They are all wonderful!!!
I’d hang a black 5 arm rack on the tall wall across alongside our open staircase, and I’d fan the arms out so they’d form a matching stepped curve. The first quilt I’d hang on it would be an Ohio Rose made by my husband’s great-grandmother.
I would hang the 5 arm quilt hanger in my living room and the first quilt I would hang on it would be the last quilt I made for my mom before she passed away.
I would the 3 arm in my sewing room. I now have my quilts stacked in a cabinet and it would be wonderful to see them displayed and what a perfect way to do it. The quilt I would hang on it would be my first quilt i made for my husband.
I have a collection of quilts from antique stores, ones I have made through the years and then ones from both both of my grandmothers. I have always had a vision of hanging them up in my family room so we can see them. Often they are either folded and tucked away as not allow you to see their beauty. They are pieces of artwork that would look lovely displayed on this wooden piece of art.
I’d like to start with a single arm and then add a triple arm, probably in white. I have a spot in the corner near my quilt chest in the living room. The quilts will be rotated depending on the season, if I had it now it would be one of my Christmas quilts. I need to finish my Magic of Christmas quilt so it will be ready to go. 😉
How I missed this on your web site I will never know. I do not. miss much. I love all things quilt and quilt stand related. Love these! Now I will fall asleep thinking what size and where I will hang it in my house. I have so many quilts and they are just stacking up. I think I would like the 3 armed stand in white. I think I would put it in my rec room as I have more space. My first quilt I would display would be my woolies flannel quilt. I will have to leave room for a PG applique quilt that I am thinking of ordering but just can’t decide.
If I could get a quilt rack I would like a white 3 arm. On the rack I would hang my square in a square quilt made by my great-grandmother, then my well loved animal baby quilt made by my grandmother. My mother does not quilt I made a quilt for my great-aunt that was made from blocks signed by my mother, her 3 children and their 7 children, I embroidered each signature. The quilt was given to my great-aunt on her 90th birthday. She has since passed away and the quilt was given to my mom. She is giving the quilt back to me. (full circle) In all there will be 5 generations involved in these quilts. I would hang the quilt rack in my bedroom for now. I really like how the racks are able to show so much of the quilts.
If I had one of Scott’s hangers I would like a White Fiver. The first quilt I made would be on it, a queen, Trip Around the World….and Moon Garden would place there too!
I want two 5 quilt hangers! If I win one I would like the 5 quilt hanger. I want to put it in the living room and I would change my quilts by season and I would put my grandmothers now antique quilts up high and the ones we use low. Hope I could win!
I am so excited about Scott’s quilt hangers. They are wonderful! I want the five arm hanger. As time goes on and I make addition quilts, I now have a stack of them as high as my shoulders. It is time to display them some way and I think these hangers are perfect!! I think I would like to hang it in the living room by the patio doors. While red is my accent color throughout the house, I would hang my first quilt which was red and white. Then would come the other four quilts which are made with reds and greens. What a treat it would be to display some of my quilts where people could see them.
If I had one of Scott’s quilt hanger it would be either a single arm or maybe a 3 arm in black. The first quilt I would put on it would be my Breakfast at Tiffany quilt. I was new to quilting, saw the pattern and fabric and has to have it! You ladies know what I mean. It was a little over my skill level and my friend said she would love to make it for me. What a Great friend!! Thank you Catherine T. I will always cherish that quilt.
Been wanting one of theses quilt hangers for years. I have three possible places to hang. It will depend on the width before I can decide. It will be the dinning room, front room or bedroom. I have very few quilts of my own, I give most away. So I will need to get my SBOW finished to hang along with other WIP. Thanks Lisa for putting these on sale and making it possible.
Oh I have had my eye on the original one, but saw the sneak peek of the 3 and 5 armed ones and am glad I waited. These are gorgeous!!! I think I will start with a black 3 arm….and hang it in my living room. the first quilt to go on it???? That’s a little like picking a favorite child!!! OK, if I HAVE to choose, I would pick the quilt I made when my husband and I got married 11 years ago. It would be so great to have a place to hang all the seasonal quilts I have made over the years….and would really showcase them beautifully. I am putting this on my birthday wishlist…March is right around the corner!!!
I love the five arm quilt hanger. I’d probably put it in my spare bedroom as it’s the biggest of possible rooms. Thanks for all you and your PG staff do! Merry Christmas!
What a great idea! I’d love the black one. I just finished my first wool appliqué quilt & I’d surely hang it up right away. Still waiting on one gift. Can’t complain!
If I won a quilt hanger….I would hang it either in my sewing room, living room, or bedroom… funny I hadn’t looked at my walls this way before. I would put my antique red work quilt with 1940’s artwork on it, which would look beautiful on a black single arm quilt hanger. I love your quilts displayed on the 3 & 5 arm hangers!! Beautiful!
If I won a quilt hanger, it would be the black, three arm. I would put it in my family room; the first quilt I would put on it would be an antique quilt of my Great Aunts.
I love these quilt hangars and have been eyeing locations in my house where I would hang them. I have a blank wall in our guest room that currently serves as my design wall. I think a five arm rack would look gorgeous there. I also have a wall in a nook area off of our living room where a 3 arm rack would fit nicely.
oh my! I have wanted a quilt hanger like this for so long. My husband will be retiring soon and we are in the process of building a house back home….after being away for too many years! Where would I put it? The choices are endless in this blank slate but I think I would put it in the hallway off of the living room going into our bedroom. I have participated in the SBOW for many years and this would be a prominent place to dsplay more of these wonderful quilts at one time so, please Pick Me~ Pick Me. Of course I would love the five quilt hanger but really any of them would be wonderful~
I like the 5 hanger. Always room for more quilts if you can hang 5. I would put it in my family room so everyone could see the quilts and pretty hanger. I would hang My Crazy Life where it could be seen well. The hangers really compliment the quilts.
I would love the white one (wouldn’t turn down the black one though) and it would go in our family room!!🙏🙏🙏 There are 2 that would be 1st- just finished a PG Christmas quilt & an oldie but goodie by Buggy Barn called “Believe”- Santa’s in older Jo Morton fabrics. Santa’s bearded are in wool!! Then my husband’s antique quilt from his great, great Grandmother- hand pieced & quilt “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” in hexagons.
I would love to have a white 5-arm hanger for my living room. I think the first quilt I would hang on it would be my Willow QAL top along with other flimsies. I think this would give me incentive to turn those flimsies into completed quilts, and it would give me an opportunity to have a revolving display. Merry Christmas!
To win any hanger would be wonderful as I have many Christmas quilts and to hang some together would be the icing on the cake for my extensive Christmas decorations around the house!
Really enjoyed the bed turning last night very inspirational – I feel more red and white quilts need to be made!!
Lisa, if I won one of the hangers (black/three arm), I’d hang it in my hall. The first quilt I’d hang is one of my old red and green lovelys. Merry Christmas.
Beautiful quilt hangers! I love the white, 5 arm, and would use it in the living room. The first quilt I would hang is a blue and white quilt I made many years ago. It is amazing how the quilts start to pile up. I sure enjoy making and displaying them.
Oh my I would LOVE to win the black quilt hanger. I would make room on one of my walls in our living room. The first quilt I would hang is the quilt my mom made me. It is all hand stitched and has been sitting in a tote for years. Shame on me for that. She has been gone 10 years now and I am a quilter because of her.
LOVE these quilt hangers! If I had one I’d put it in the downstairs den, that’s where the fireplace is so it would be a cozy spot … it would be best there in the black! Or maybe the upstairs living room … white would be best there. Ok, one won’t do. I would have to have two! Thanks for the opportunity, Lisa!
What a cool way for displaying quilts! I like the 3 rod display in black. I can see changing out the quilts out on it seasonally but also displaying my reproduction quilts I have made.
Beautiful racks! I would like the 3 arm one to hang seasonal or Americana quilts. My great room would be my preferred room. After seeing your red and white collection, that is a definite on my to do list, so they would be perfect for the new rack!
We are in our 70s and first time home buyers. We always worked for ranches and housing was supplied. So last year we received the keys to our first home, the day before Thanksgiving. We were quite blessed. I don’t have any of my quilts hanging, but sure can see it happening in my small living room. And the three arm white one would be my choice. I love my quilts, and would sure like to have them out. Have a wonderful Christmas. Oh, and I sure enjoyed the red and white bed turning yesterday. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love this idea of hanging the quilts I am interested in the 3 quilt hanger and am making a redwork gathering quilt I would like to put on it. And would put it in my entryway or bedroom
Where to hang it?? That’s hard–so many spaces come to mind, but I do have one narrow wall that would work well. A lot of my quilts are just laying around-which is okay, but it would be nice to put some on a hangar. I’d love the three arm or one arm in black. Thank you for all you do to support quilters!!
Oh my! I love them! Great job to Scott! They look so sturdy! I would do a 3-arm and I love the distressed white. It goes with my vintage farmhouse style of decorating! Merry Christmas and thank you for all the fun reading what your needful things are!
These are too cool! I’d love a white one, no matter what the size! I’d hang some fresh springy quilts because I’m looking forward to sunny days ahead! Hopefully…….
Hi Lisa! i Have admired the photos you have shared of quilts on your racks for quite some time! I live in a log home that has a few spots that are not exactly sealed (if you get my drift). One of those spots is on the north west corner where my stairwell is. It’s a chilly spot and I’ve always thought that quilts hanging there would be wonderful……they would be where everyone could see yet help insulate that corner! I would love a black 5-arm rack there and now that I know I can order? I will probably use part of my stimulus check for a 3-arm black rack for my bedroom, where I can change the quilts seasonally. (black would match my curtain hardware in both rooms!)
Love these quilt hangers!!! What a great way to display more than one quilt!! I would hang it in the living room of my soon to be new to me house. I would want/need the 5 arm one. The first quilt that I would put on it would be my “Farm Sweet Farm” quilt. It is may with Homegrown by Deb Strain and I won Reserve Grand Champion at my local fair in 2019. Thank you for all your quilting inspiration.
Hi Lisa, I would love a 3-arm to put in my living room where all would see it. The first quilt I would put on it would be the Quilt of Valor I made for my husband. He passed away in June and he loved that quilt. Hoping to be able to get to your shop and reatreat center when it is safe. Happy Holidays to you, your family and staff.
I would for sure hang it in my family room so I could see it all day every day, I for sure would hang my Dear Jane quilt on it and I love both, but the black for sure would go better in my home.
Mine would go in my entry so visitors would see it as soon as they came in. I would change the quilts out with each holiday. In the in between times I would display my favorite quilt, a blue and white quilt dating from the 1970’s. I leaned to quilt with this quilt and the help of a church quilting group from my home town in Rural Oklahoma. They quilted for the public to raise church funds. $40 for any size hand quilted quilt and they applied binding as well. I would choose off white if I was lucky enough to win and if given a choice.
I would be so thrilled to win a quilt hanger. I would put it in my entry way so I can hang my seasonal quilts together. ( they love to hang out together). The white 5 arm would be a hit. Big shout out to Scott for being so handy. Moon Garden would be my first!
Hi, I think I’d like a 3 arm black one. It would go in my quilting room where I could enjoy seeing my quilts hang. I would put my just finished quilts that need quilting. Or in my new bedroom once it’s completed and hand a next on the bed quilt to be ready to go when I switch out or wash.
Guess I might need extra, I did buy a white one so I’ll have choices!
They’re beautiful.
Ah! I would really really love one of these quilt hangers, either one. I would put it in my spare bedroom/sewing room. The first quilt I would put on there is a quilt my Mom an I made for my grand father in 1977 out of my grandmothers cloths after she passed away from dementia.
I would put a 5 way in my civil war inspired dining room to replace the quilt ladder my cat climbs! I have antique quilts to hang on it. Also, today I finished ALL my gift sewing projects!!! Mostly for my 17 month old granddaughter.
if I won a quilt hanger I would put it in our bedroom. The first quilt I would hang on it would be a quilt our neighbor made when we were first married (44+ years ago.) It is a dresden plate that is hand tied. Her name was Mrs. Hallett – the sweetest woman I think I have ever known (other than my mom.) She lived to be 102, never went to a doctor due to her own remedy of a sip of whiskey every night before bedtime. Of course, after that one is hung, I have several PG SBOW quilts that would be equally as beautiful.
What a clever idea! I have been eyeing these quilt hangers for some time and love the white. I have a perfect place in my living room for the five or three armed where it could be seen upon entry to our home. There are many quilts in my stash that would qualify. However, I would display them according to season and color, changing them accordingly. The first one would be a PG quilt design, of course! Lakehouse or Starlit Skies…
I love that PG offers handcrafted items such as these beautiful quilt hangers, and I love knowing a bit about the artisans behind the objects. I will be putting my hanger on my tall living room wall and change the quilts seasonally. Or just “because!” I know I’ll be including the 2019 SBOW…eventually!!! I better get busy! Thanks for everything!
I really like your quilting arms. I bought a couple of your single arm hangars this past summer. My favorite features is the ease of changing out the quilts you want to display. I may have to try the 3or 5 to display more quilts.
So excited That you are offering these hangers! I would love to win a three arm hanger, in the distressed white. I would hang it in the foyer between the front door in the kitchen that way I could enjoy quilts as I come into the house and as I’m working in the kitchen! I would love to hang a vintage, 1940’s quilt on the rack.
What a lovely way to hang several quilts! If I had a white one, I would hang it either in a guest bedroom or in a family room where everyone could find a warm snuggly quilt to cuddle up in. Gosh! Maybe I need two of these!
I love both the black and the distressed white in 3- or 5-arm. If I can find the space, I would hang it in my living room so I can see my beautiful quilts every day. You are so generous. Thank you so much.
I like both the distressed white and black in the 3 arm, Currently having a house built in central Oregon so I’m not sure where I would hang it, but I have no doubt I could make it work. Depending on the room, the color of the hanger, would depend on which quilts I would hang.
I would love to have a three arm hanger in white. I would put it in my bedroom with my Magic of Christmas quilt and two other red and white quilts on it.
I am just seeing this now… are you still selling these or would you by any chance be willing to share/sell the pattern for the 5 arm quilt hanger? Thanks!
