American Quilter’s SAL-Block 4

Happy July Everyone!!!!

Block 4-I love my country to it’s core… 

I also love my quilting friends…and YOU are one of them, if you are reading this.  I am so glad you are making this quilt along with many Quilter’s around our beautiful country!  Today’s block the a Friendship Star…where would be be with out our friends and especially our Quilty friends!

This weeks blocks are a couple of flying geese!!!!  No problem! We got this…I am loving that you are posting your blocks on our STITCH WITH LISA BONGEAN Facebook group…I would love it even if you post whatever you have done…especially if you are only on Block 1, just post and say Hi to everyone!

Did you remember to send us a donation?  I am going to pester you all… every time until we reach the goal of $25K.(we are more than half way!)  We really really really…want to raise a bunch of money for Hogs for Heros!!!!  WE are off to a wonderful start!! So I’m counting on you!!!

  1. Love these blocks! Would you recommend laying out different combinations of the red and white stripe fabrics for each block, or use the same patterns for every block?

  3. Thank you for block 4. I’m loving this project. Quick question, on the video, I saw that you have a metal ring on your sewing machine for your scissor. Can you tell me more about where you got this? I think that is such a great idea because between my scissors and my seam ripper, I’m always trying to find it when I’m sewing. Thank you.

  7. Excited for block 4. I look forward every week for Thursday for a new block release. I’m thrilled to be part of this wonderful project and helping Hero’s get a joy in their life. They gave so much and now it’s a small price to pay to give back. Thank you all for helping get this SAL Organization going !! It’s a win win for all !!

  8. I love this pattern. I hope to make 4 more of the quilts next year as Christmas presents for my family. I suppose that means I better get fabric ordered before it gone. I love that you are supporting the veteran community. My donation is on it’s way.
