Love these blocks! Would you recommend laying out different combinations of the red and white stripe fabrics for each block, or use the same patterns for every block?
Thank you for block 4. I’m loving this project. Quick question, on the video, I saw that you have a metal ring on your sewing machine for your scissor. Can you tell me more about where you got this? I think that is such a great idea because between my scissors and my seam ripper, I’m always trying to find it when I’m sewing. Thank you.
Excited for block 4. I look forward every week for Thursday for a new block release. I’m thrilled to be part of this wonderful project and helping Hero’s get a joy in their life. They gave so much and now it’s a small price to pay to give back. Thank you all for helping get this SAL Organization going !! It’s a win win for all !!
I love this pattern. I hope to make 4 more of the quilts next year as Christmas presents for my family. I suppose that means I better get fabric ordered before it gone. I love that you are supporting the veteran community. My donation is on it’s way.
I am just starting and I can’t tell you how VERY much I appreciate the videos. I was overwhelmed with the red and cream strip cutting until I watched your video (more than a few times, i must say) I couldn’t have done it without you! 🙂
Thanks Lisa for a great quilt along and your charitable gifts for Hogs for Hero’s. I am grateful for all those who do willing served. Happy 4th of July🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for posting the donations!! Thanks for the Hogs for Heros SAL and for all you do. Can’t wait to see you and you new shop in Appleton in August!!!
I couldn’t be more proud of us! Participating in this quilt along just seems so right after coming out of Covid Season and coming together with the red~white~ and blue. Thank you Lisa for all you have done for the community of quilters. Love continues….
Thanks for this block series! I am trying to carve out some time to catch up, but until then the red, white & blue are in my every thought. Great way to support our veterans!
is there a list of fabric requirements that I missed somewhere? I cn not seem to find anything that tells how much I will need for the entire project. Thank you
jill
