Money May Not Buy Happiness, but it DOES Buy PG Subscription Boxes!

Happy hump day stitchers! Here we are in the middle of another week that will be over before we know it. If you watched me LIVE on YouTube last Thursday you know that I’m taking the next couple of days to get out of Dodge for a bit before we start to get busy again. I was glad to arrive at Val’s house (my home away from home) in Nevada yesterday afternoon after a long day of airports and flying. For whatever reason, no matter what I do traveling always seems to take a lot out of me both mentally and physically. I always feel like I need another week off to recover after it’s over… I’m sure you know the feeling! You’d think by now that I would be a seasoned pro at the whole travel game and that it should come easier for me than the average bear. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I find it difficult, it’s just such a long and drawn-out process that usually turns out to be more of a hassle than anything else. Bottom line – I would rather not deal with it at all. It’s 2023 for crying out loud. Can’t we just teleport? LOL! Needless to say, no matter how much fun we might have, it will be nice to get home to my own bed, my sweet pup, and my sweetheart Captain Crab Ass next week, who I’m sure will all be lovingly waiting for me with open arms. I am indeed a lucky girl.

I am also lucky to have my good friend, and fellow stitcher Darcie with me as my travel partner on this trip. Not only is she good company, but she always adds a huge element of fun into anything we’re doing – even if there’s work involved. Speaking of work, to our credit we did spend some time working last night and this morning on a few things before treating ourselves to a spa day this afternoon. We plugged away at finishing up a new project that will be making its debut during my Love is All You Need retreat coming up in February, plus a few other odds and ends that needed attention. As usual I have a lot of irons in the fire right now and many of them are starting to come to fruition, with only finishing touches and final details remaining. How exciting! These little jam sessions of ours are sometimes just the nudge I need to finalize a project or idea that’s been sitting in stasis for far too long. Obviously brainstorming is way more fun and productive with more that just one person involved!

Many of the projects that were discussed over the last couple of days are those included in either my Wool Box or Quilt Box subscription boxes, which I am super excited about this year. Many of you have commented that you’re on the fence about joining these subscriptions so I thought I might help bump you off by talking a little bit about what a fabulous opportunity they are. Let’s start with the Wool Box Subscription. Our Wool Boxes are released every other month and focus primarily on wool and stitchery. They contain as close as we can get to $100 worth of wool-based goodies, and are made up of all new projects that have not been previously released. Projects include at least one major project kit and pattern, a pattern for an ongoing project, novelties, and more! Our Wool Boxes consist mostly of Primitive Gatherings products and patterns, but we may also have guest designers and products as well in future boxes. Interested? Here are the details…

  • Projects are 40% OFF retail value!
  • PG Wool Boxes will be charged the 15th of the month and will be shipped after the billing cycle.
  • The price of each box will be $72 which includes shipping (international orders are required by customs to have protective shipping materials and will be charged at $83 per box including the cost of shipping).
  • Boxes will ship every other month starting in January. Subscriptions will continue until you email us and request to cancel.
  • PLEASE NOTE: when canceling your subscription, you will still receive the next box in the line up. After that box your subscription will be canceled.
  • Ready to sign up? It’s easy! All you have to do is click the link below to get started…

If wool isn’t your thing, no worries. Try my Quilt Box Subscriptinon instead! PG Quilt Boxes are themed boxes that re-create some of my antique quilts into similar smaller versions or mini quilts. They include small hand-piecing or EPP, quick and easy cross-stitch projects, a bit of hand appliqué and embroidery, pin cushions, pouches, totes, pillows, and an on-going block project that will grow into a larger quilt over time. Boxes also include projects by guest designers along with a variety of fabric types to bring you a wide range of fun and creative opportunities. My main focus in these boxes is smaller quilts, but I also want to stretch the possibilities to include other patchwork and sewing projects in the future. Details are as follows:

  • Projects are 30% OFF retail value!
  • The Subscription Quilt Box will ship 6 times a year, every other month starting in February.
  • The price of each box will be $45.00 including shipping.
  • Boxes are billed automatically on the 15th of each month.
  • Boxes ship at the end of the month after all billing is cleared.
  • You may join anytime as long as the subscription is not full to capacity. Subscriptions will continue until you email us and request to cancel.
  • PLEASE NOTE: when canceling your subscription, you will still receive the next box in the line up. After that box your subscription will be canceled.
  • Signing up is easy! All you have to do is click the link below…

These boxes really are a great deal when you consider how much you’re saving in the long run. If you’re still having doubts all you have to do is ask someone who’s taken the plunge before and they’ll tell you! In fact, let me know in the comments if you’re a current Wool or Quilt Box subscriber and if so, why you would recommend it. Let your fellow stitchers know what they’re missing out on – there might even be a prize in it for you!

Alright gang, enough with working for today. I’m getting the signal from the girls that it’s time to hang it up and go get dinner. Twist my arm! Tomorrow we hope to get some hiking in before heading to UT to visit with another friend of ours from the quilting world. It should be a great time! I’ll try and post some photos if I think of it. Don’t forget, even though I am out of the studio we will still be going LIVE tomorrow at 1:00 CST on my STITCH with Lisa Bongean YouTube channel! Jess will be starting the show out with details on how we’re handling BOM’s this year, along with a bunch of other important details and information, so you really don’t want miss that. Then I’ll be stealing the show for a minute as we patch in all the way from out west – as long as the internet Gods agree anyway! You can tune in for all the shenanigans by clicking the link below. See you there! ~Lisa

2022 was my first year for the Quilt Box subscription. I’ve been quilting for two years. This subscription has not only helped me learn the art of quilting, but it has also given me different small projects to do. And who doesn’t like caramels and fun stuff. I am always excited for the post office delivery to see what’s in the box!

I get excited for my wool box every time I see the charge go through and then wait anxiously for its arrival! I’m aways surprised at what’s inside…a new pattern exclusively with all the wools, a continuing project through the year, great recipes, lovely wools, wood creations (loved the ruler pincushion holder and designs), sometimes needles and other notions, a stitch card, and always the tasty caramels (which I hoard away from my hubby!). You won’t be disappointed ordering the wool box…it’s the best present I’ve given to myself!

I subscribed to the quilt box in 2022, and was so happy with my boxes that I not only kept my quilt box going for 2023, I also signed up for the 2023 wool box! Greatness will arrive in my mail every month now!

I am fortunate to receive both the wool box and the quilt box. It’s like Christmas every month. While I may not do every project or something isn’t my style I have gifted several things to friends who are interested in starting a new hobby. I have made many items to give as gifts. I love going to my totes and pulling out a new project. Don’t hesitate to give a subscription a try – the value is exceptional and the projects are beautifully designed and thoughtful you’ll love them and did I mention carmels yum!

Hope you enjoy the beautiful snow in Utah, it keeps coming!
I subscribe to the quilt box last year and thought it was a wonderful value. The best part is whatever projects I don’t want to make for me. I can donate to my friends and we can all have fun. I have subscribed to the wool box this year after a sneak peek. Lisa did of the quilt for 2023. Looking forward to both of them.

In 2022 I had both subscription boxes. The projects in both are great. I just don’t have enough time in the day for both! This year it is just the quilt box.

I’m in both boxes and love them both. It is so exciting to open them. I feel the value is worth more than Lisa says. Even if you get a project that isn’t your type of decoration you can gift it to a friend or use the fabric or wool for another project ( I doubt this will happen but you never know). Well worth the cost!!

I am in both the wool box & the quilt box. I have been in the wool box for 3-4 years plus I always buy the 2 special wool boxes every year. I look forward to the surprise projects. So much fun! I joined the quilt box from the beginning, and have been able to finish a few of the quilts that I have gotten. I have also purchased needed fabric for others I have received & can’t wait to start those. Getting a box every month is so fun! Thanks PG for offering these boxes! 😊

I received the Quilt Box last year and loved all of them. It was so much fun to open the box when it arrived and see all the wonderful projects packed in each box. I also found the option to purchase additional needed supplies for the projects useful. The caramels were always a treat too! Looking forward to another year of Quilty Boxes.

Just need a little clarification. These boxes ship every other month. Fees are processed in the month that the box ships. Box will ship AFTER the payment has cleared. Correct?

I loved my wool box so much that when the quilt box came out, I immediately started my subscription. I am so excited each month to get the box. I’ve enjoyed most of the projects, the 2-3 that weren’t my style, I can give away. All the additional items that we get are so much fun also. I can’t wait to see all the new projects this year. My girlfriend saw the box and immediately ordered her subscription.

I have been getting the Quilt Box from the beginning. It is fabulous! In fact, I think I remember squealing when I opened the first one, I was that happy with what was inside! My girlfriend was jealous that she couldn’t get in on it last year, but as soon as sign ups opened up again she jumped on it! The ongoing project for 2022 was incredible and I can’t wait to finish it. This box is definitely worth the money, and you will not be disappointed.
