Twilight Stars Quilt-Along – Block Release Eleven

Hey gang! After the big kick-off of the Joyful Gatherings QAL yesterday and Black Star Flower Farm making its debut last week, it hardly seems like you’d be needing anything more to do for a while – but guess what… Whether you’re ready or not, it’s time for the next Twilight Stars QAL block release! With out further ado, this week your assignment is block numbers 4 and 24!

If you’re just joining us and wondering what my method to the madness is, let me fill you in on the details. For my own blocks I’m using my Rustic Gatherings fabric line combined with Jackie MacDonald’s Halloween-themed collection, SpellboundBoth lines feature color palettes including rusty oranges and rich blacks, along with some nice grey selections from Rustic that go together like soul mates. The quilt-along is based on Rustic Gatherings, but you can use whatever you like. Is your scrap stash out of control? This beauty of a quilt makes an excellent scrap buster as well.

Patterns for this QAL can be found in my book Triangle Gatherings, which you can purchase on our website by clicking HERE. A blog post I did explaining the full details on Twilight Stars can be found by clicking HERE. The full list of details and required supplies can be found at the Twilight Stars Info Page by hitting the button below!

I have really been loving all the different varieties I’ve been seeing posted on our Facebook and STITCH pages! That being said, I hope you’ve been remembering to post photos of your progress for a chance to win one of Heidi’s famous prizes! All you have to do is post a photo of your completed blocks each week before the release of the next batch, including the required book Triangle Gatherings and Primitive Gatherings Triangle Paper in the picture. Please also include the hashtag #TwilightStarsQAL in your post! Heidi will choose a weekly random winner until the end of the QAL. I announce the winner each week during my LIVE show every Thursday, so make sure you post before noon central standard time that day. Congratulations to this week’s lucky winner, Theresa DeJager. Nice work!

Alright everyone, I’ve got a full schedule and a tour to give so that’s it for the week! As usual, before I sign off I want to give out a couple prizes to say thanks to those of you who continue to leave me comments here on the blog. I couldn’t do all of this without all of you so… thanks! This week’s shout-out goes to Loretta M. and An C.! If you think you’re one of these lucky winners please check your email! Heidi will be contacting you shortly to confirm your prize. I appreciate every single comment that’s made so please… Keep leaving them! You never know… You might even win something for it. 🙂 Have a great weekend and I will see you all next week! ~Lisa

I really like block 24, I think that I will play around with it color wise and see about a whole quilt made from just that one block. Thanks for sharing all these great blocks.

I’m sorry I didn’t join you blog long ago. I must have lived under a rock. 😆

Thanks for the info on all the SAL. I’m part of the wool box group as well. I’m hell bent on trying to get caught up. Do people live until they’re 150+ years old?! Asking for a friend of course! 😆

Primitive gatherings is creating so much fun! Wish I had more time to do all the sew-alongs but I have some other projects that have to be finished first.
Got my Christmas box in the mail today and it was absolutely fantastic! Lisa you and your staff have done an outstanding job. So many fun projects can’t wait to start. Happy dance!
