Well gang, I hope your holiday weekend was a fun one. I did exactly what I said I was going to do and pretty much laid low at home the entire time, eating and stitching, stitching and eating. I did get out for a while on Saturday night to enjoy some live music in the next town over during their community tree lighting event, so that was fun. I took my son Jake and his girlfriend and we met up with Heidi who was already there making the best of the festivities. It’s nice to let loose every once in a while and the music was really good! “Spicy Tai Band” played, who I had not heard of before but am definitely looking forward to seeing again soon. It was a super fun show and everyone in town had a blast. I’m glad I went!

Anyway, we’re back to the grindstone for the next month or so and then Christmas will be in our laps. How are your projects coming along? Will you be ready in time? Are you all set with your décor or are you scrambling to get finished? I can relate to both scenarios. LOL! Either way, it will be here before we know it so if you’re not ready, now’s your last chance to get there!
