Hey everyone! I wanted to make a quick post regarding a couple of things I mentioned yesterday during my LIVE show. Some issues have come up so I’d like to clarify those, and get everyone back on the same happy page. Here goes…

BLACK STAR FLOWER FARM FINISHING KITS: First up, I know many of you are super excited to get going on finishing your Black Star Flower Farm quilts, and are ready to order your finishing kits. Unfortunately, because of glitch in our new inventory system, if you tried to order a kit yesterday you were most likely told they are sold out. This is not the case! However, due to fabric constraints, we only have enough of the original fabric to provide finishing kits to our current subscribers.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: If you ordered your kit in the last two weeks, you do not need to do anything – your kit is on the way! If you are a current subscriber that has not ordered your kit yet but still would like one, please check your email for a message from our Customer Service Department (store@primitivegatherings.us), which should arrive sometime this afternoon. It will contain instructions on how to go about ordering your finishing kit. If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT ROUND: Don’t panic!!!! We will be releasing another round of Black Star Flower Farm as a Block of the Month starting in July, 2024. This will be a wool on flannel version of the project, featuring our new Farmhouse Flannel III fabric line for block backgrounds, borders, binding, and sashings.

LIBERTY GATHERINGS BOM: And for our next problem child, we have The Liberty Gatherings Block of the Month. If you tried to sign up yesterday you might have noticed that it is nowhere to be found on our website. That’s because due to yet another pesky glitch in our new system, sign-ups had to be temporarily disabled. Of course, this little snafu decided to happen when our tech guy is out of town, so we won’t be able to troubleshoot it until he returns next week. Please watch the blog, Facebook, the STITCH group, and my LIVE show for updates!
