It is Block Head Wednesday today…I know…today is almost over…but all I can do is blame it on Florance….I was supposed to be teaching on the Outer Banks of NC this week…needless to say we were told we could not go over the bridge because they were going to have mandatory evacuations tuesday morning…so I never seen the beautiful 24 bedroom beach house we had rented for this beautiful event…I am sad and still processing it all, but I know this is nothing compared to what will happen when that hurricane come through…so I could not stitch my blocks yesterday as planned…I was lucky to get a flight home today and just took the time to stitch the THREE blocks…
Sorry that your retreat was a no go thanks to Flo but glad you are home safe & sound plus all of the retreat guests. We’ve vacationed in Nags Head & played golf at Currituck so we know driving around Duck & the different areas the roads are sometimes lower than the ponds & marshes you are driving pass. It will be interesting to see what changes Flo will be creating. Praying for everyone’s safety.
Sorry for everyone but good decision to cancel retreat for safety reasons.
Happy to know that you are home safe and sound.
Good Luck to all on the East Coast.

Wow beautiful home, but it’s a good thing you came back. My heart goes out to all those dealing with the aftermath of this hurricane. Thanks for posting your blocks, Lisa. They look great & your quilt is going to be so pretty.
