I love you new redwork gatherings. It reminds me of items my grandmother had in her house. I have admired the postings on your 2 color quilts for several years and have always wanted to make a red/shirting quilt, but have not
made the time. Your blog is amazing and so inspiring,

I love your block and was curious to see if you would only one section from the 8″ block or really downsize the whole block. It’s so sweet and extra cute in 4″ I’ll do the same.

Yes, I do stitch every day and enjoy it thoroughly. Anything by hand I completely love redwork and have done it since I was old enough to stitch.

Lisa the lady has not given a link to her pattern. I would also like to have the house pattern in 8″ do you know where I can find it? Paula in KY

I think the house pattern was on the fig tree bog.

I love your red work fabrics! Before my mom passed away she did lots of red work stitcheries and I have not put them together for lack of a fabric I truly loved and now I have found them… so excited for these to come in!

You are absolutely amazing. I am working on your Magic of Christmas blocks and I have learned so much. Now you’re taking the blocks from others and putting your stamp on them. Resizing blocks can be a real challenge, but you’re doing it.

I have done so much Redwork in the last 25 years. Using the stem stitch most of the time—on valances, on wall hangings and quilts. My original Redwork Faux Crazy quilt is very unique and won a blue ribbon at local Guild Quilt Show

Great tip on matching up the right angle of the pieced and non-pieced triangles and treating the non-pieced as true. That is great advice for any size block. Thank you!

You have inspired me to make these tiny 4 inch blocks. After heavy starching of course! Thanks, Lisa, for all your tips and gorgeous fabric designs.

I love to see your blocks but I cannot imagine my ever being able to piece anything that tiny!
