Happy Block Heads Wednesday!
Here is another great Quilt Block FOR OUR QUILT ALONG PROJECT:
My 4″ Summer Breeze- quilt block was made with Urban Farmhouse Gatherings
Here are the sizes you need for the 4″ quilt along project block….
A– 4- 1″squares– SEE E
B– 4- 1 1/2″x 3 1/4″ rectangles of light and dark for HST as shown.- STITCH 16 HST per directions for the Triangle Papers.
C – 4- 1 3/8″ squares- cut in half once on the diagonal for 8 triangles
D -2- 1 7/8″ squares cut in half once on the diagonal
E– 2- 2 7/8″ square cut in half once on the diagonal. will only use one. I cut the 4 1″ squares from the other half for A.
When you are lining up the pieced TRIANGLE with the non-pieced TRIANGLE, it is more important that the right angle corner is lined up…you can fudge the long angle with the seam allowance. Follow the non-pieced triangle as true. Do not force-match up the seams.
