   TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!

I spent yesterday straightening out everything from being gone 15 days…and then caught up on the 2″ & 3″ blocks…I did notice some of you had a triangle turned in a block..isn’t it nice to be told now than when its in the quilt?  And…how come we don’t notice it????
Here is my pic of all my blocks on my closet design wall, yes it really is in the media closet…I don’t have very much wall space in my studio…so it is what it is…those lower blocks I made previous to starting this a long time ago…so to make sure I made this triangle quilt I made it a stitch along…so it will get done…and it is much more fun to stitch with all of YOU!!!

On the left  and in back are all the brains/tv-internet-security- of the house..so its a nice closet for me to stick my 4x8foot wall in…my carry-on and my sewing machine carrier are also tucked in here along with my drying racks that are not in use…

We are almost to 10 blocks and our first give-away…I better start rounding something up….If you want a chance to win….post all 10 of your blocks(after we post them) and you may be the lucky one to win!!!

Hey!!! I writing today from rainy southern California…yes, that is not a typo…it has rained almost everyday…but I am happy for the Californian’s they love the rain…

 

   Keep posting on Facebook   TRIANGLE GATHERINGS and Instagram  #trianglegatherings   I love seeing your block and especially when they have babies!!!

Today has been a nice easy day…Monday I had two classes, Tuesday I had one class and a fabric appointment with a salesperson that lasted too long…Then Wednesday we had two wonderful buses full of quilters from AZ and Country Heritage tours…I taught a fast pincushion class to two groups of the AZ quilters and then went up to the R2Cali quilt show and did dinner and a lecture/trunk show with them…Great bunch of ladies…LOVED spending time with them!!! Thursday was the first day of the show…and again I got to visit with lots of friends I see year after year and then a dinner date with my machine quilter Val and her family who are also vending at the show, Hearts to Holly is their booth…Today, Doug Leko and I headed back to the shop and he is teaching a table runner class!  The project is from his hot off the press book Scrap it UP! and can be ordered by calling 951-304-9787…we have not had time to put it on our website yet! It is $16.00.

I am hoping those of you who think you have not been getting the email get this…let me know if you do not get them automatically and I’ll see if I can manually add your email…

I did not have time to do my other size blocks yet…as I am now in CA…I had a bunch of wool things to get laid down before I left for hand stitching!!!  But  Luke and Brooke have moved into a little
California farmette and I am started setting up a little sewing area last night…but still have to uncover where all the supplies are…I am in CA for 10 days and then onto OR for a personal retreat on the beach with some awesome professional quilting friends for the weekend.  Enjoy block 4..we will keep in touch…LB

TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!

I hope you all are excited!  I know some of you are waiting for triangle papers and fabric charms…I can tell you we are shipping like fools to get all your items to you… Also If you are waiting for a snowman mug..those came in yesterday too!!!  It suddenly dawned on me the other day if we are doing 87 blocks…(that’s how many I have as of now)…that’s 7.25 blocks a month…so I have to post two a week sometimes!!! or two at a time???

Don’t worry if you are waiting..these are real fast to stitch up…right?….those of you who are stitching them?  I love seeing your blocks on Facebook and Instagram!!! If you want to join the FB group just search Triangle Gatherings and ask to join and I’ll get you in asap!  If you are not on these social media platforms and want to share you blocks…every now and then group your blocks together shoot me an email and I’ll post them for you…but please..not every block, everytime..lol!

Remember this pic?Well.. Jeter was wondering what was going on in his room…which we no longer need…We had to put Presley down in September…so that is why you have only been seeing Jeter…This was the dogs room…it is 7×12…so now it’s going to be quilt storage!!! It’s hard to photograph because it’s so small..It is shelved on three sides…10 foot ceilings so I’m hoping it will house lots quilts!  I will show you again when it’s full!!!  I had “little man” today…we had lots of fun putting away the Christmas stuff…and hiding on MiMi…Have a good weekend!!
